Loved the host. Very friendly offered tips and spoke English very well. 10-15 minute walk to nearest metro. There are very many shops in the local area to cater to any of your needs, very convenient. Area feels very safe, never had any problems or felt insecure. There is enough pots and pans and cooking utensils to save money and make your own meals for dinner. We even added a spatula and some coffee to the cupboard to pay it forward. The room is exactly as advertised, double bed and a twin bunk bed. We stayed comfortably with 4 people. There are 3 heaters one in each room and they work very well. The water heater is like any European water heater, they don't last long for American style showers so if you have 4 adults showering separately you better plan 2 hours if you want hot water. You probably only get about 20 minutes of hot water so divide that among 4 adults and plan accordingly - This is the same everywhere in Europe though, unless you're staying at a big hotel. Overall it is a great spot, a good home base and the host is awesome and willing to offer advice and tips. Speaks good English and will be willing to work with your schedule to accommodate you. We plan to go to Paris again to catch up on the things we missed and would like to stay here again.
