Magnificent French castle, with large

Magnificent French castle, with large furnished rooms, a lot of land, a wonderful pool, and a tennis court. The house is a marvel. The outdoors has plenty of vegetation and is very well maintained. Ideal for several families or groups of friends. There are many common areas for dining, gathering, and maintaining independence. We were five families with children aged between 18 and 23 years and greatly enjoyed breakfasts and dinners in the outdoor areas. The kitchen and dining room also allowed for gathering in case of rain. We had great times in the living room and the library. There are many places to visit in the surrounding area. Saintes, just over 2 km away, is very beautiful and has supermarkets, restaurants, shops... There are also beaches less than an hour's drive away. Matthieu responded quickly to WhatsApp messages and emails. Béatrice and Edouard welcomed us and showed us the house. All three were very kind. A highly recommended experience.

Nice and spacious house

We stayed with a family consisting of three households and a (grand)parent couple in the house. Both the house and the garden are very spacious and close to the city of Saintes with all amenities. The bedrooms and beds are lovely with a private - small - bathroom. The swimming pool, tennis court, and playhouse were used a lot. The owner, the manager, and the housekeeper were very helpful and reachable.
