We had a wonderful stay in Canadelo. A very peaceful and lovely place. A bit of an adventure to find, but once settled in well worth the trip. Maria was very hospitable and the wine she gave us was spectacular. I recommend going for a beer at Caffe s. Pedro just up the hill. Great spot.

Canadelo is definitely worth a visit and I recommend that you stay in this stand-alone home. The home is well furnished and clean. It is private. It has access to a beautiful garden. The host is a dear person and very helpful. I can be chilly so bring some warm clothes. Canadelo is beautiful with forests, rivers and spectacular scenery. There is a bar in town but it does not serve food. Bring food. The nearest town is Amarante.
