Eugene is very welcoming and friendly! However, we were a bit disappointed not to have a washing machine for the week and to find out that a train was running right behind the house. With a 6-month-old baby, this was not easy. Additionally, the air conditioning units had not been cleaned, and someone came to clean them 2 days after our arrival, even though we had booked 8 months in advance.. One of the blinds at the upstairs didn't close properly either, resulting in an early wake-up, which is unfortunate on vacation. The location is ideal, but it is true that for over €3000 a week, one expects impeccable service.

Great amenities, pool, jacuzzi, equipped kitchen, modern TV, master suite overlooking the pool on the ground floor Beautifully maintained decor that is very pleasant The proximity of the railway line may seem scary but there are only 3 trains a day, so it’s not disturbing. The road is a bit more noisy but it’s manageable as we didn’t hear it at night even with the windows open. The welcome from Eugene's daughter was very friendly, she even sent us her favorite spots in the area, thank you ☺️

On holiday in Corsica in April. We decided to stay in Monticello. The access to the house is difficult to find the first time, but once located, it is ultimately simple. The accommodation is in a quiet residential area. A small downside is that the house is positioned close to a busy road and a tire shop, which can cause noise during the day. This little inconvenience disappears in the evening. The accommodation is impeccable, and the pool and terrace are very pleasant for relaxing. The coastal path is nearby, and the beach at Île Rousse is a 10-minute walk away. Highly recommended.
