Cozy cottage with everything we needed for a few days in the special Furnas. A 2-minute walk away is Poca da Dona Beija, a beautiful small-scale thermal spa. In short: excellent!

We stayed here for a few days during our trip to the Azores and had a very pleasant stay. The accommodation is in a quiet area just outside Furnas town centre but still convenient: a market, restaurants and several points of interest are within walking distance. The proximity to the Poça da Dona Beija thermal baths is also excellent. The house is very spacious, well furnished, fairly clean and equipped with everything needed. We particularly appreciated the terraced patio, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Check-in was straightforward thanks to the host's very clear instructions and the self check-in with a key box. The only minor drawback is the kitchen: there is a microwave but no conventional oven, which can be a bit limiting for those who want to cook. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and the accommodation is a great base for visiting Furnas and the whole eastern part of São Miguel.
