Very good

4/5

We were very well received. The accommodation was as shown in the photos, but the furniture could do with a good clean. The walls also had dead mosquitoes/insects. There were dirty stains on the walls and the sofa was soiled from use — it might need replacing. The Wi‑Fi was excellent and the air conditioning was appreciated. The bedroom could be darkened very well. There was also a coffee machine for pads/cups. The owners were very friendly. It was a beautiful area, but we had booked for one month, which we felt was one week too long. All in all we rate our trip 7 out of 10. We explored the southern part of Sicily with a hire car from Avis. A top company.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's very well located for the town of Syracusa with shops and restaurants nearby and quick to walk to Ortigia too. I also found the parking space very useful. I booked this accommodation very last minute and Massimo was very kind in letting me check in early as I was already in Syracusa which I really appreciated. The accommodation was very comfortable and cool in the summer heat.
