An absolute fairy tale stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and the yard and surroundings are incredible. Our dogs were in absolute heaven. So much space to run and play. Please note that if you have a large dog that can jump high, most of the property has a tall fence around it but there are some spots near the front where the fence is shorter. It wasn’t so much of an issue for us but something to keep in mind for dogs who are escape artists. The saltwater pool was pristine and so relaxing. It was such a treat to cook on the gas stove stop. Angelica is a fantastic host, responsive and helpful, and she even welcomed us with pastel de Nata, wine and some freshly made cinnamon treats. There were so many wonderful places to relax inside and outside. I cannot state how amazing it was to stay at Angelica’s place. We were sad to leave.

Angelica’s home was magical…like living in a fairytale. The home has old charm but modernized. Spotlessly clean and well kept. The gardens are stunning. The fig tree had delicious fruit we enjoyed. Angelica had made a beautiful cake waiting for us upon checkin. It was delicious! I could go on and on and wish we could’ve stayed much longer. We absolutely loved it in Mendiga!
