Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans la maison d'Anne-Marie, située dans un petit village calme et accueillant. Merci à Anne-Marie pour sa gentillesse et sa bonne communication. Nous avons été heureux d'être accueillis le soir avec de quoi petit-déjeuner le lendemain matin et des œufs frais pondus par les poules d'Anne-Marie ! La maison en elle même est fonctionnelle et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, la toilette et même des jeux. L'état de certains équipements pourrait peut-être être amélioré , notamment le chauffe-eau bruyant situé dans une des chambres, le four qui n'est pas assez puissant. Il y a beaucoup de vaisselle mais la plupart était sale quand nous sommes arrivés. Mais dans l'ensemble nous étions satisfaits du logement pour explorer la région durant quelques jours. Merci encore!

We had a good stay at Anne-Marie's house, located in a small, quiet, and welcoming village. Thank you to Anne-Marie for her kindness and good communication. We were happy to be welcomed in the evening with breakfast items for the next morning and fresh eggs laid by Anne-Marie's hens! The house itself is functional and has everything necessary for cooking, a toilet, and even games. The condition of some of the equipment could perhaps be improved, particularly the noisy water heater located in one of the bedrooms, and the oven which is not powerful enough. There is a lot of crockery, but most of it was dirty when we arrived. But overall, we were satisfied with the accommodation to explore the area for a few days. Thanks again!

Nous avons trouvé à Vachères une maisonnette qui se distingue par son rapport qualité-prix, le calme du lieu et l’indépendance totale qu’elle nous a procurés. Nous avons parfois eu un peu de mal à trouver l’ustensile recherché tant il y en a dans les placards et tiroirs ! Et surtout, nous avons été très touchés par les attentions d’Anne-Marie : des œufs tout frais pondus par ses poules dégustés à la coque avec gourmandise, un premier petit déjeuner complet et le déplacement qu’elle a bien voulu faire pour nous permettre d’acheter des huiles essentielles produites par sa ferme. Merci Anne-Marie de nous avoir permis cette escapade dans le si beau parc du Luberon.

We found a little house in Vachères that stands out for its value for money, the tranquility of the place, and the complete independence it provided us. Sometimes we had a bit of trouble finding the desired utensil since there are so many in the cupboards and drawers! And above all, we were very touched by Anne-Marie's attentions: fresh eggs from her hens enjoyed soft-boiled with delight, a complete first breakfast, and the trip she kindly made to allow us to buy essential oils produced by her farm. Thank you, Anne-Marie, for allowing us this getaway in the beautiful Luberon park.

Vous pourrez découvrir le très beau village de Vacheres, petit mais ces petites rues pavées sont vraiment charmantes. Le Verdon pas très loin est un site merveilleux, en plus hors saison, nous étions seuls à se promener au lac de Sainte Croix, c'était magique.

You can discover the very beautiful village of Vacheres, small, but its little cobbled streets are really charming. The Verdon, not far away, is a wonderful site, and in the off-season, we were alone walking by Lake Sainte Croix, it was magical.

Anne Marie's house is very well located in a beautiful little Provencal village! There aren’t many amenities around, but this makes the place very peaceful. This is a lovely quiet get away. Rustic and good value. The village of Vacheres is also charming- much less touristy than other villages in Le Luberon and probably something like most of the villages were before Lonely Planet his them!

Die Lage vom Haus ist gut und die Ausstattung super zum Kochen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefuehlt und die Ruhe und Aussicht genossen.

The location of the house is good, and the facilities are great for cooking. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the peace and view.

Anne Marie hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und  uns den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht! Wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Haus liegt in einem sehr schönen, ruhigen alten Bergdorf. Küche und Bad waren sehr großzügig mit allem ausgestattet. Vor und hinter dem Haus gibt es einen kleinen Garten mit Sonnenterrassen. Man muss einplanen, dass es in Vacheres selbst keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit gibt. Auch das kleine Restaurant hatte in der Vorsaison nicht immer auf. Aber für Ruhe suchende  Naturfreunde ein guter Ferienort!

Anne Marie gave us a very warm welcome and made our stay very pleasant! We felt at home right away! The house is located in a very beautiful, quiet old mountain village. The kitchen and bathroom were very spacious and equipped with everything. There is a small garden with sun terraces in front of and behind the house. One must plan for the fact that there are no shopping opportunities in Vacheres itself. Also, the small restaurant wasn't always open during the preseason. But for those seeking peace, it is a good holiday spot for nature lovers!

Notre séjour en mois de février - à noter que les premières neiges seulement à 40 min de route, et le village est bien déserté en cette période - idéale pour ce qui cherche un calme absolu :)
