The accommodation is just as shown in the pictures. A beautiful and quiet palace. The ride with the driver went well. The welcome was very quick and somewhat cold, but they were very helpful afterwards. I thank them. The restaurants are about a 10-15 minute walk away, but you have to be very careful of the people who offer to take you to the restaurant to help as they will charge you and make you walk a lot for nothing.

Very good stay at Palais El Mokri with children. The palace is just as in the photos, sumptuous! The apartment is spacious and functional, nothing is missing, including in the well-equipped kitchen. It is possible to have meals on-site (generous breakfast and dinner) and to use a shuttle (for a fee) to the airport. Kamal is adorable, available and responsive before departure and during the stay. The only points to note are: the accommodation is old and the shutters in the bedrooms do not close completely. There is a lot of noise late in the evening (other guests are staying in the palace) and you can hear everything. Communication with the staff also leaves something to be desired. The person in charge of meals etc. is never there, you don’t know where to look for him, and the responses received are very terse. Nevertheless, the palace is beautiful, well-located, and quiet compared to the Medina. However, you need to walk and have a GPS app to avoid getting lost!
