Nice apartment in a superb location.

Positive : The host is very friendly and the location is excellent. The main bedroom is very spacious. The water pressure in the showers is excellent and the water was always hot. The apartment was very clean. Negative : Two bedrooms have no natural light and were a little claustrophobic, but were very quiet because there was no noise from the street outside the apartment. Ladies staying in the apartment might feel frustrated applying make-up in either of the two windowless bedrooms, as the wattage of the lightbulbs is low and there are no mirrors. A day or so into our stay we were a little bit horrified to spot two security cameras in the apartment that detect motion and then starts recording video and audio. (One in the lounge and one in the hallway near the bathrooms.) Made us feel spied on. After speaking to the host about it, we were advised we can slide a small plastic shutter over the lens which is what we did. I wish we'd been informed of this beforehand as it's a huge invasion of privacy if you're walking around with no clothes on. Also be mindful that if you talk on the balcony in the early hours, this results in complaints from neighbours and could result in fines from the police.
