Très beau séjour à la Perle Bleue, la piscine et la terrasse sont vraiment sympa, avec toutefois beaucoup de petits moustiques! Tout est à aire ouverte donc il faut aimer vivre avec les insectes, nous avons eu un peu de fourmis dans les différentes pièces. Les installations sont très belles et la cuisine bien équipée. Emmanuelle a été très gentille et accueillante et répondait très rapidement à nos questions par texto!

Very nice stay at La Perle Bleue; the pool and terrace are really lovely, although there were quite a lot of small mosquitoes. Everything is open-plan so you have to be comfortable living with insects; we also had a few ants in the various rooms. The facilities are very nice and the kitchen is well equipped. Emmanuelle was very kind and welcoming and responded very quickly to our questions by text!

Jolie maison sur la commune de Saint Pierre, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer des Caraïbes. Très fonctionnelle et à proximité des commerces et la plage. Mes amis et moi, nous avons passé un merveilleux moment dans la piscine et le jacuzzi sans vis à vis, en toute intimité et profiter du beau coucher de soleil. Nous avons pu élaborer de bons petits plats, grâce à la cuisine toute équipée. Frédéric est très accueillant, courtois et joignable à tout moment. Nous y retournerons!

Lovely house in the municipality of Saint Pierre, with a stunning view of the Caribbean Sea. Very functional and close to shops and the beach. My friends and I had a wonderful time in the pool and jacuzzi with no overlooking neighbors, in complete privacy enjoying the beautiful sunset. We were able to whip up some tasty dishes thanks to the fully-equipped kitchen. Frédéric is very welcoming, courteous, and reachable at all times. We will return!

Nous avons passé trois superbes journées et nuits dans ce havre de paix.
C'est la maison de vacances rêvée ! 
Cadre magique : Terrasse surplombant la mer qui se termine par une piscine, végétation luxuriante, n'hésitez pas à faire le tour de la maison, petit bosquet avec des fruitiers.
Maison impeccable.
Rien à dire de négatif sur la literie, nous avons dormi comme des bébés. Et il y a des volets aux fenêtres pour qu'au petit matin ça ne soit pas le soleil qui vous reveille (ce n'est pas le cas partout, surtout dans les hôtels).
La maison est très proche de St Pierre (5min en voiture), donc commodités, du marché, des pêcheurs,....
Il y a ce qu'il faut en cuisine pour vous préparer des petits plats simples (dont barbecue à charbon) et un grand choix de restaurants tout prêts pour les moins courageux 😉
Nous étions 4 : 2 adultes et 2 enfants. C'était parfait. Il y a un canapé clic clac dans le salon, je pense que c'est possible à 6, mais 5 serait plus confortable.
Même si nous habitons juste de l'autre côté de l'île, dépaysement total !
Merci et c'est sûre, nous reviendrons !

Nous avons passé trois superbes journées

We spent three wonderful days and nights in this haven of peace.
It is the dream holiday home! 
Magical setting: Terrace overlooking the sea which ends with a swimming pool, lush vegetation, don’t hesitate to walk around the house, a small grove with fruit trees.
The house is impeccable.
Nothing negative to say about the bedding, we slept like babies. And there are shutters on the windows so that the morning sun doesn’t wake you up (that's not the case everywhere, especially in hotels).
The house is very close to St Pierre (5 minutes by car), so there are amenities, the market, the fishermen,...
There is everything you need in the kitchen to prepare simple dishes (including a charcoal barbecue) and a large selection of restaurants for the less adventurous 😉
We were 4: 2 adults and 2 children. It was perfect. There is a sofa bed in the living room, I think it’s possible to have 6, but 5 would be more comfortable.
Even though we live just on the other side of the island, total escape!
Thank you, and for sure, we will come back!

Un cadre exceptionnel très belle maison une vue imprenable !!nous avons été très bien accueillis par James qui a pris le temps de nous présenter la maison. Piscine très agréable vue sur la mer un jardin fleuris. La literie parfaite le seul petit bémol c est les portes de placard dans une des chambres très difficiles à ouvrir . Nous  avons passé des vacances très agréables à st Pierre .

An exceptional setting, a very beautiful house with an amazing view!! We were warmly welcomed by James, who took the time to introduce us to the house. Very pleasant pool with a view of the sea and a blooming garden. The bedding was perfect; the only small downside is the closet doors in one of the rooms, which are very difficult to open. We had a very pleasant holiday in St. Pierre.

En famille (5 personnes dont un bébé) nous avons séjourné le temps d'un WE de 3 jours à la Perle Bleue et nous y avons passé un temps hors du temps ! La maison est très bien tenue et offre de nombreuses possibilités d'accueil et de détente en plus d'être dans un cadre à ne jalouser personne.
Enfin, l'accueil, l'écoute et la disponibilité des hôtes sont de grande qualité et l'on constate immédiatement que leur souci de nous permettre de passer un bon moment est réel.

Très belle maison ! La grande terrasse extérieure et la piscine orientées vers la mer sont un plus. Ce fut toujours très agréable de prendre nos repas à l’extérieur. Nous aurions volontiers prolongé notre séjour !!! Près de la très belle plage de l’Anse couleuvre et du sentier Le Prêcheur- Grande Rivière ainsi que de la montagne Pelée (via Morne-Rouge). Un bon endroit pour habiter dans le nord de l’Île. Je recommande !

Very beautiful house! The large outdoor terrace and the pool facing the sea are a plus. It was always very pleasant to have our meals outside. We would have gladly extended our stay!!! Close to the very beautiful Anse Couleuvre beach and the Le Prêcheur-Grande Rivière trail, as well as Mont Pelée (via Morne-Rouge). A good place to stay in the north of the island. I recommend!

Jolie maison avec un extérieur très cosy.  On se sent seul entouré par la végétation. La vue est magnifique.  La musique est faite pour vivre dehors.  Il faut effectivement la voiture pour la plage,  les restaurants ( 5 min de voiture) mais nous l'avons choisi pour l'impression de tranquillité qu'elle dégage.  C'est notre coin préféré de Martinique,  si nous revenons,  nous reviendrons dans cette maison uniquement

Lovely house with a very cozy exterior. You feel alone surrounded by the vegetation. The view is beautiful. The music is meant to be enjoyed outdoors. You definitely need a car to get to the beach and the restaurants (5 min by car), but we chose it for the sense of tranquility it gives off. It’s our favorite spot in Martinique, and if we come back, we will return to this house only.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa in St-Pierre. The ocean view is stunning, the garden is beautiful, and the pool is spacious and so much fun. The outdoor space is gorgeous and very private, and the gated entrance made us feel extremely safe.

The villa itself is very comfortable and spacious, with two large bedrooms and plenty of room for our belongings. A fun bonus: the blender was a huge hit with my daughters, we made smoothies every day with the mango-raspberry duo from the grocery store!

Manu welcomed us warmly, showed us around the house, and gave us great recommendations for the area. She even prepared a homemade ti-punch for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Truly a wonderful host. We would absolutely come back!

 Negative : Rien. Dans un souci d'amélioration, une connexion internet stable (ADSL ou fibre) serait appréciable et éventuellement une petite table basse devant le canapé. Mais ce sont des détails.

Positive: The villa is exactly as in the photos. Very pleasant with a beautiful view. The owners are lovely and care about their guests' well-being, just like Frédéric who manages the house.
 Negative: Nothing. In terms of improvement, a stable internet connection (ADSL or fiber) would be appreciated, and perhaps a small coffee table in front of the sofa. But these are details.

Beautiful View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay 1 week stay in early February, 2025.  The villa was clean, well-stocked and private as pictured.  The grounds were tidy.  The pool was fantastic.  The heat pump units in the bedrooms worked well.  The short driveway up to the villa is steep but manageable with a small rental car.  There is remote access through the security gate.  The hosts were very friendly and punctual and even provided a few extra items we requested!  Thank you again!Some road noise is heard (which was expected after seeing the location on Google Earth).  Also there is a nearby gravel plant and some noise from that is heard on weekdays (minor).  A suggestion (minor):  bring your own face towels (or ask the host to provide them).  Only large towels were provided.  Also we were surprised that a 500 Euro security deposit was requested by the host at arrival.  There was no convenient payment method possible so we asked that our credit card be charged or for the host to return to collect cash.  Neither happened.  We didn't cause any damage so the issue was moot.  Usually this is taken care of at the time of booking through VRBO (in our experience as Americans).  Perhaps this is common through HomeRez.  Also there is a 14 Euro per person "exit tax" which is payable to the host at departure so be prepared with cash.  Regardless of the few minor items - this villa is highly recommended overall and we would rent here again!  Thank you!

Fantastic Martinique villa!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist modern und sauber. Wir haben die große Küche inkl. Kühlschrank mit Eiswürfelbereiter sehr geschätzt. Garten und Pool sind ein Traum. Schöne Aussicht auf das Meer und nicht weit von der Stadt entfernt. Wir hätten uns Moskitonetze über den Betten gewünscht, aber Klimaanlagen sind da.

We felt very comfortable. The house is modern and clean. We really appreciated the large kitchen, including the fridge with ice maker. The garden and pool are a dream. Beautiful view of the sea and not far from the city. We would have wished for mosquito nets over the beds, but there are air conditioners.

Pleasant stay

Nous avions adoré ! Villa agréable et fonctionnelle dans un cadre paradisiaque ! Les séances de jacuzzi furent réparatrices après nos différentes randonnées dans les environs. Seul bémol,  pour les séjours longs la cuisine n'est pas dimensionnée pour faire mijoter les plats pour toute la famille. Une cuisine extérieure serait parfaite !

We loved it! Lovely and functional villa in a paradise setting! The jacuzzi sessions were restorative after our various hikes in the area. The only downside is that for long stays, the kitchen isn't big enough to cook meals for the whole family. An outdoor kitchen would be perfect!

Dès notre accueil dans la villa, nous avons été aussitôt époustouflés par la vue non seulement depuis la terrasse mais aussi depuis le séjour et notre chambre.  La piscine est magnifique, le jardin merveilleux, pas de vis-à-vis, la villa est équipée de beau et récent mobilier, la literie est excellente, la douche grande originale.  La situation est excellente pour découvrir la ville de Saint-Pierre et la partie nord de la Martinique.  Les plus belles plages de l'île ne sont pas loin ni la forêt tropicale.  Nous reviendrons sans hésitation et remercions Monsieur James pour son accueil.

From the moment we arrived at the villa, we were immediately blown away by the view not only from the terrace but also from the living room and our bedroom. The pool is magnificent, the garden is wonderful, there’s no one overlooking us, the villa is equipped with beautiful and modern furniture, the bedding is excellent, and the shower is large and original. The location is excellent for exploring the town of Saint-Pierre and the northern part of Martinique. The most beautiful beaches on the island are not far away, nor is the rainforest. We will certainly return and thank Mr. James for his hospitality.

Sans oublier un jardin très bien entretenu où nos petits enfants ont pu jouer sans danger. L’accueil du propriétaire a été très professionnel et très chaleureux.

Emplacement parfait pour profiter du calme et des atouts du Nord de la Martinique. Maison avec plein de charme. 

Decouverte du Nord Caraibes 

L’accueil très sympathique de James nous a permis une installation facile dans cette belle petite maison. Nous avons profité de la vue magnifique sur la baie de St Pierre depuis la terrasse plein sud. Une 2ème salle de bain serait un plus important pour y séjourner a 6 personnes.

Belle maison accueillante 

Très bon séjour dans cette belle maison, très propre avec joli jardin et piscine. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut. Nous étions un peu à l’étroit (4 adultes) mais c’est idéal pour une famille avec 2 enfants.

Vue magnifique 

Coin incroyable avec vue magnifique ! Manque que le lave vaisselle ! On a adoré notre séjour !

Villa St Pierre 

Extérieurs sublimes
Nous avons adoré notre semaine à la Perle Bleue, les extérieurs sont l’atout majeur de cette location, accrochée à flanc de colline. La vue sur la rade de Saint-Pierre est tout simplement à couper le souffle ! La maison est calme et permet de se détendre sans aucun vis-à-vis ni nuisance de voisinage. Les intérieurs sont agréables, même si certains points mériteraient un peu de rafraîchissement (salle de bain tristoune, placard de chambre lit jumeaux très vieux) et un éclairage indirect serait parfait et rendrait les lieux cosy le soir avec des petites lampes d’appoint par exemple.
La piscine est extra ! 
Des petits détails et autres attentions seraient également appréciés: sacs poubelle (1 seul pour 8 jours, c’est peu), 1 bon couteau de cuisine, essuie-tout, papier toilette, une bouteille d’eau ou de jus de fruits ou un bon planteur histoire d’être accueillis dignement dans cette si belle location. 
Notre arrivée a été autonome et nous n’avons rencontré les propriétaires que le jour du départ. C’est dommage, nous aurions aimé recevoir divers conseils et autres explications pour le fonctionnement de la maison. 
Cela étant, Frédéric, le propriétaire, reste disponible et a été très réactif lors d’un petit problème de draps expliqué par téléphone et corrigé dès le lendemain. 
Nous recommandons cette location.

Stunning Outdoors
We loved our week at La Perle Bleue, the outdoor areas are the main asset of this rental, perched on the hillside. The view over the Saint-Pierre bay is simply breathtaking! The house is quiet and allows for relaxation without any overlooking or disturbances from neighbors. The interiors are pleasant, although some points could use a bit of refreshing (the gloomy bathroom, very old wardrobe in the twin bedroom) and indirect lighting would be perfect, making the space cozy in the evening with small lamps, for example.
The pool is excellent! 
Some small details and additional thoughtful touches would also be appreciated: trash bags (only 1 for 8 days is a bit low), a good kitchen knife, paper towels, toilet paper, a bottle of water or fruit juice or a nice planter to be warmly welcomed in this beautiful rental. 
Our arrival was self-service, and we only met the owners on departure day. It's a pity, we would have liked to receive various tips and explanations for the functioning of the house. 
That said, Frédéric, the owner, remains available and was very responsive regarding a small problem with the sheets explained over the phone and corrected the very next day. 
We recommend this rental.
