Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable, petit ponton donnant de l’eau avec coucher du soleil, belle maison propre. Marc et Nicole ont été super accueillants ! On a passé une super journée sur le bateau et visité tous les beaux endroits maritimes.

Très bonne accueil. Propreté irréprochable. Superbe vue sur mer. Cadre agréable et tranquille. Les toilettes extérieurs sont un plus. Beaucoup d'électronique embarqués. Beaucoup de nourriture mis à disposition (Fruits, petits déjeuner, jus, ect.. ). Prévoir un système de reconnaissance des télécommandes, mais ça reste un plus et un confort.

Very good welcome. Impeccable cleanliness. Superb sea view. Pleasant and quiet environment. The outdoor toilets are a plus. Lots of electronic devices on board. Plenty of food available (fruits, breakfast, juice, etc.). Consider a remote control recognition system, but it remains a plus and a comfort.

Bel endroit  et agréable maison que vous découvrirez  autour d'un apéritif martiniquais où trônent le ti punch et les délicieux accras de morue faits maison. Vous pourrez vous baigner agréablement et sans soucis mais les amateurs de snorkelling  et de poissons exotiques devront chercher d'autres fonds plus poissonneux.

Lovely place and pleasant house where you will discover a Martinican aperitif featuring ti punch and delicious homemade cod fritters. You can swim comfortably and worry-free, but snorkeling enthusiasts and exotic fish lovers will need to look for other, more fish-rich spots.

Our host was lovely! She met us at the airport and drove ahead of us to the house (it is absolutely necessary to rent a car) as it is a mile in from the main road but well worth the breathtaking views along the way. Being on the water was fab and although there is no beach,  the sea breeze was heavenly. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - my girls absolutely loved the place, and really appreciated the WiFi. We were provided with breakfast items that lasted throughout the four days we stayed at the house. We were next door to other houses on the waterfront  which made us feel very comfortable.  We also liked that we could buy great/well-priced food at the Leader Price at the RoundAbout leading to Le Francois. We will definitely be back to stay at this same house.

Nous avons passé un séjour mémorable chez Nicole et Marc. Leur accueil est fantastique, ils sont vraiment très généreux. Nous avons été accueillis avec un repas de delicieux acras de morue de Nicole Il y avait également  tout ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain et une belle corbeille de fruits. Nous avons pu visiter les ilets directement de la maison avec Dominic le frère de Marc. La maison est impeccable, il y a tout ce dont on a besoin et plus encore.  Nous recommandons vivement et nous espérons revenir une prochaine fois !  Merci pour tout!

We had a memorable stay with Nicole and Marc. Their hospitality is fantastic, they are truly very generous. We were welcomed with a delicious meal of Nicole's cod fritters. There was also everything needed for breakfast the following morning and a beautiful fruit basket. We were able to visit the islets directly from the house with Dominic, Marc's brother. The house is spotless, there is everything we need and more. We highly recommend it and hope to return next time! Thank you for everything!

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Nicole et Marc qui ont su se montrer discrets le reste du séjour. Le logement est impeccable et spacieux, très propre et bien équipé. Le top est l’espace extérieur, qui est vaste , calme et au bord de l’eau ; parfait pour se reposer après une journée. Je recommande vivement ce logement, vous ne serez pas déçus. Si je reviens en Martinique, j’y retournerai pour la totalité du séjour.

We were warmly welcomed by Nicole and Marc, who managed to be discreet for the rest of our stay. The accommodation is impeccable and spacious, very clean and well equipped. The highlight is the outdoor space, which is vast, quiet, and by the water; perfect for relaxing after a day. I highly recommend this accommodation, you will not be disappointed. If I return to Martinique, I will go back for the entirety of my stay.

La maison de Nicole et Marc est formidable. cette vue sur l'océan (pied dans l'eau) va vous permettre de vous reposer et vous ressourcer. Tout est fait pour que vous puissiez profiter pleinement de cette extérieur magnifique. Et que dire de Nicole et Marc qui nous ont réservé un accueil plus que chaleureux. panière de fruit, petit-déjeuner et surtout repas de bienvenu. Marc peut vous proposer une balade en bateau ou rando pour les plus aguerris.

Nicole and Marc's house is fantastic. This ocean view (with feet in the water) will allow you to relax and recharge. Everything is designed for you to fully enjoy this beautiful outdoor space. And what can I say about Nicole and Marc who gave us a more than warm welcome. Fruit basket, breakfast, and above all, a welcome meal. Marc can offer you a boat trip or a hike for the more experienced.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Nicole et Marc. Un bon accueil, des hôtes discret mais disponibles. Voiture obligatoire pour se déplacer. Nous avons été séduit par le calme, le paysage et la vue splendide qui s'est offert à nous pendant tous le séjour. Une maison agréable avec le nécessaire. Petit clin d'œil à Marc pour sa journée bateau et dégustation BOUDOUMMM et a Fred pour sa pêche de lambi.....Un grand merci. Merci à Nicole pour son accueil aux accras. We had a very nice stay with Nicole and Marc. A warm welcome, discreet but available hosts. A car is necessary for getting around. We were charmed by the calm, the landscape, and the splendid view that was offered to us during our entire stay. A pleasant house with the essentials. A small nod to Marc for his boat day and BOUDOUMMM tasting and to Fred for his Lambi fishing..... A big thank you. Thank you to Nicole for her welcome with accras. And as Marc would say.... BOUDER but especially not this place.... you just have to go to understand We recommend his hosts.

En fait je ne voulais pas mettre de commentaire pour garder cet endroit secret. Mais la gentillesse de Nicole et la chaleur et la passion de Marc (malgré son planning « chargé » avec le tour des yoles…) méritent de leur dire à quel point nous avons été bien chez eux !

Actually, I didn't want to leave a comment to keep this place a secret. But Nicole's kindness and Marc's warmth and passion (despite his "busy" schedule with the yole tour...) deserve to hear how well we were taken care of at their place!

Nous repartons en guyane a reculons..... Nicole et Marc sont des hôtes formidables, le logement est superbe et le cadre idyllique, tranquillité, acces a l'eau, calme et nature.... Impossible de déloger les enfants qui pechent et se baignent et mon mari parti dans de grandes discussions peche avec Marc.....partis avec 2h de retard sur le programme initial. Lors de notre arrivée Nicole nous avait préparé une corbeille de fruit et tout le necessaire pour manger pour le 1er jour. Si vous cherchez le calme, la nature et un accueil de reve ne cherchez plus. Avec certitude, nous reviendrons. Jennifer jordan tamara et eloise.

We're leaving for Guyana in reverse..... Nicole and Marc are wonderful hosts, the accommodation is superb and the surroundings are idyllic, with tranquility, access to water, calm, and nature.... Impossible to dislodge the children who are fishing and swimming, and my husband caught up in great fishing discussions with Marc..... We left with a 2-hour delay from the initial schedule. Upon our arrival, Nicole had prepared a fruit basket and everything necessary for our first day's meal. If you're looking for calm, nature, and a dream welcome, look no further. We will certainly return. Jennifer, Jordan, Tamara, and Eloise.

Un petit coin de paradis les pieds dans l'eau !! Un vrai bonheur de pouvoir admirer la mer de la terrasse couverte, du ponton ou des hamacs. Le logement est conforme à la description. Nicole et Marc, sont des hôtes exceptionnels ! L'accueil le jour de l'arrivée avec de délicates attentions, la gentillesse, la bonne humeur et les échanges ont contribué à un séjour parfait. Les sorties en bateau, les randonnées, la découverte de la culture martiniquaise ont été des moments conviviaux partagés (BOUDOUM) Nous n'oublions pas Fredo, le cousin de Marc, qui restera également une belle rencontre. Une adresse que nous recommandons, vous avez compris, nous avons été conquis !

A little piece of paradise with your feet in the water!! A true delight to admire the sea from the covered terrace, the dock, or the hammocks. The accommodation matches the description. Nicole and Marc are exceptional hosts! The welcome on the day of arrival with delicate attentions, kindness, good humor, and conversations contributed to a perfect stay. The boat outings, hikes, and discovering Martinican culture were convivial moments shared (BOUDOUM) We also won't forget Fredo, Marc's cousin, who was also a lovely encounter. An address we recommend, you understand, we were conquered!

Je recommande vivement cette maison qui est un coin de paradis au bord de la Mer! Les propriétaires ont été très accueillants, nous avons même eu le droit à un pot d’arrivée avec des crudités et accras, du jamais vu!! En cas de problème ils sont toujours disponibles. Nous reviendrons sûrement! La bise à nicole et marc (et boudoum!).

I highly recommend this house, it is a piece of paradise by the sea! The owners were very welcoming, we even had a welcome snack with raw vegetables and accras, something I have never seen before! They are always available in case of any problems. We will definitely be back! Love to Nicole and Marc (and Boudoum!).

A l'origine : une réservation 'coup de coeur ', qui ne s'est pas démentie tout au long de notre séjour ! D'abord , une maison au bout d'un chemin ( un peu chaotique :) ) avec tout le confort nécessaire , d'une propreté vraiment irréprochable, avec tout le nécessaire ( et même plus !) pour un petit déjeuner copieux. Une vue magique depuis la terrasse ... Et surtout , l'accueil de Marc et Nicole ..incroyable de gentillesse : quelle chaleur !!! ( et pas que grâce au rhum !!! ;) Et puis une belle ballade en bateau, avec Marc , bien arrosée aussi !!! En bref , un petit coin de paradis , en Martinique, dans lequel les sargasses ( très peu nombreuses ) ne font que passer au large, sans s'arrêter , donc , sans nuisances !

Originally: a 'love-at-first-sight' booking that did not let us down throughout our stay! First, a house at the end of a path (a bit chaotic :) ) with all the necessary comfort, really impeccable cleanliness, with everything needed (and even more!) for a hearty breakfast. A magical view from the terrace... And above all, the welcome from Marc and Nicole... incredible kindness: what warmth!!! (and not just thanks to the rum!!! ;) And a lovely boat trip with Marc, well-soaked too!!! In short, a little corner of paradise in Martinique, where the sargassum (very few) just pass by offshore, without stopping, thus no nuisances!

A dream location with an incredible view at all times of the day: a magnificent sunrise and extraordinary starry nights. But none of this would mean anything without the hospitality, generosity, and kindness of Marc and Nicole. The house is perfect, pleasant, and filled with little touches that make the stay easier. This place is amazing, authentic, beautiful, and real. We were lucky enough to spend a day at sea with Marc; it’s an unforgettable memory. Everything is perfect. Never seen such a place. Un havre de paix, des rencontres extraordinaires, l'endroit est magnifique les hôtes, Nicole et Marc ont dépassé toutes nos attentes, tant leur accueil, leur joie de vivre nous ont transporté a la découverte de leur coin de paradis. L'endroit est paradisiaque, chargé d'histoire, l'expérience liée au lieu est fabuleuse. Mais on retiendra encore plus l'humain, avec l'organisation et accueil parfait de Nicole, les anecdotes et récits de Marco vous feront plonger dans l'ambiance et l'histoire de cette belle île. A haven of peace, extraordinary encounters, the place is beautiful, the hosts, Nicole and Marc, exceeded all our expectations, with their warm welcome and their joy of life transporting us to discover their piece of paradise. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmé par le sourire de Marc et la bienveillance de Nicole. Le petit punch ou plutôt LES ptits punch ainsi que les accras, nous ont fait oublié les nombreuses heures de vol et les péripéties de la route pour arriver à ce petit coin de Paradis. (Toujours écouter les conseils de Nicole, la gendarmerie !) Nous avons eu la chance de partager plusieurs moments avec Marc et son cousin Fredo. Grâce à eux, nous avons touché  au rêve  martiniquais! Quelques mots à retenir Authenticité , Partage et  BOUDOUM! Le cadre est parfait, le frigo est plein pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain. Une corbeille de fruit embaume toute la maison qui correspond parfaitement à la description sinon mieux! Si dieu le veut nous reviendrons avec plaisir! Allez y les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçu !!!

Upon our arrival, we were charmed by Marc's smile and Nicole's kindness. The small punch or rather THE small punches along with the accras made us forget the many hours of flight and the adventures of the road to reach this little piece of paradise. (Always listen to Nicole’s advice, the police station!) We were lucky to share several moments with Marc and his cousin Fredo. Thanks to them, we touched the Martiniquan dream! A few words to remember: Authenticity, Sharing, and BOUDOUM! The setting is perfect, the fridge is full for the next morning's breakfast. A fruit basket scents the whole house which corresponds perfectly to the description, if not better! God willing, we will return with pleasure! Go there with closed eyes, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Nous avons eu un super accueil avec ti punch et repas. Nicole et Marc avaient laissé des fruits et de quoi déjeuner. Nous avons fait une journée en bateau avec Marc qui nous a montré et expliqué les endroits à voir au François. Nous avons fait la fête tous ensemble avec les amis de Marc pour la pleine lune. Marc nous a fait goutté divers poissons et des langoustes. C’était excellent. L’endroit au bord de l’eau était paradisiaque. Ravis d’avoir rencontré Nicole et Marc.

We received a great welcome with ti punch and food. Nicole and Marc had left some fruits and breakfast items. We took a boat day with Marc, who showed us and explained the places to see in François. We partied together with Marc's friends for the full moon. Marc had us taste various fish and lobsters. It was excellent. The spot by the water was paradisiacal. Happy to have met Nicole and Marc.

Installés sur la terrasse ombragée ou au bout du ponton vous aurez une vue imprenable sur la baie où passent pécheurs et grands voiliers. A notre arrivée un plateau de crudités, des accras, un jus de prunes de cythère étaient prévus... mais aussi tout le nécessaire pour notre petit-déjeuner et tant d'autres attentions. Nous avons eu la chance de partir en mer avec Marc et son cousin Fredo, un autre grand moment de partage... Malgré un passage court, nous avons quitté Nicole et Marc avec émotion.

Generous and kind, Nicole and Marc give you the warmest welcome possible. You are expected in a peaceful, comfortable place with impeccable cleanliness. Settled on the shaded terrace or at the end of the pontoon, you will have an unbeatable view of the bay where fishermen and large sailing boats pass by. Upon our arrival, a platter of raw vegetables, accras, and a juice from Cythère plums was prepared... but also everything necessary for our breakfast and so many other thoughtful gestures. We had the chance to go out to sea with Marc and his cousin Fredo, another great moment of sharing... Despite a short stay, we left Nicole and Marc with emotion.

Nous avons été plus qu'agréablement surpris à notre arrivée dans le logement de Nicole et Marc. Nous avons été accueillis comme des rois par nos hôtes d'une grande gentillesse. L' endroit est magnifique et très propre. Nous y avons trouvé tout ce dont nous avions besoin, vaisselle et ustensiles en quantité, jeux pour les enfants, linge de maison etc... Nous y avons passé un séjour calme et dépaysant dans un cadre idyllique ! Merci encore à Nicole et Marc, nous y retournerons les yeux fermés.

We were more than pleasantly surprised upon our arrival at Nicole and Marc's accommodation. We were welcomed like royalty by our extremely kind hosts. The place is beautiful and very clean. We found everything we needed, dishes and utensils in abundance, games for the kids, linens, etc... We had a calm and refreshing stay in an idyllic setting! Accueil par Nicole et marc exceptionnel .. la vue est fantastique que dis je magique .. c est le paradis sur terre .. surtout n hésitez pas c est bien là qu il faut s arrêter .. la route pour arriver à la maison est déjà elle aussi atypique avec une vue imprenable ... même après plusieurs jours on se réveille chaque matin en disant waouh ça existe le paradis ... repos assure on repart revitalisés .. que dire de nos hôtes ? Nous n'avons jamais rencontré d'hôtes aussi gentils et généreux que Nicole et Marc. Nicole est venue en voiture nous chercher lors de notre arrivée à la maison où elle nous avait préparé un petit dîner avec le ti-punch de bienvenue que nous avons partagés ensemble afin de faire connaissance. La maison est un petit coin de paradis, la mer à nos pieds que l'on peut profiter jour et nuit pour nous baigner, ou simplement pour regarder la magnifique baie et les pêcheurs qui nous font un signe de la main lorsqu'ils partent en mer. C'est à l'un d'eux, que nous avons pu acheter de délicieuses langoustes que l'on a fait griller au barbecue. Marc ne sait pas quoi faire pour rendre notre séjour des plus agréable. Lui qui dit ne pas savoir cuisiner, est un excellent chef, c'est dans son petit coin secret qu'il nous concocte sa pêche : poisson, chatrou (pieuvre que l'on a préparé ensemble) ou fricassée de dinde, les fruits si gentiment offerts et tout cela arrosé de nombreux ti-punch au citron /sirop de gingembre maison !!! Marc nous à fait faire un tour en bateau jusqu'à la baignoire de Joséphine où nous nous sommes baignés et ensuite la mangrove où nous avons siroté une ti-punch (parce que là bas le rhum nous suit partout!!!) La maison est agréable car bien ventilée, l'équipement est suffisant même s'il n'y a pas de four (qui n'est pas vraiment nécessaire). Tout est bien propre, il y a beaucoup de serviettes de bain, et les draps sont renouvelés toutes les semaines. Une climatisation est peut être nécessaire, mais Marc a prévu l'installer cette année. Nous ne sommes pas prêt d'oublier tous ces moments, surtout celui où nous avons dégusté du champagne sur la jetée tout en regarde la pleine lune...inoubliable ! Nous avons hâte de retourner dans ce petit coin de paradis rien que pour revoir Nicole et Marc qui nous rempli de bonne humeur avec son rire si communicatif. A bientôt....

We have never met hosts as kind and generous as Nicole and Marc. Nicole came to pick us up by car upon our arrival at the house, where she had prepared a small dinner with a welcome ti-punch that we shared together to get to know each other. The house is a little slice of paradise, the sea at our feet that we can enjoy day and night for swimming, or simply to admire the beautiful bay and the fishermen who wave to us as they head out to sea. It was from one of them that we were able to buy delicious lobsters that we grilled on the barbecue. Marc doesn't know what to do to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. He, who claims not to know how to cook, is an excellent chef; it is in his little secret corner that he prepares his catch: fish, chatrou (octopus that we prepared together) or turkey fricassee, the fruits so kindly offered, and all of this washed down with many ti-punches made with lemon and homemade ginger syrup!!! Marc took us on a boat tour to Josephine's bathtub where we swam, and then to the mangrove where we sipped a ti-punch (because over there, the rum follows us everywhere!!!) The house is nice because it is well-ventilated, the equipment is sufficient even though there is no oven (which is not really necessary). Everything is very clean, there are plenty of bath towels, and the sheets are changed weekly. Air conditioning might be needed, but Marc plans to install it this year. We will not forget any of these moments, especially the one where we enjoyed champagne on the pier while watching the full moon... unforgettable! We can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise just to see Nicole and Marc again, who fill us with good cheer with their so contagious laughter. See you soon....

Nicole et son mari Marc sont adorables et très attentionnés pour les voyageurs qu’ils accueillent dans leur petit coin de paradis. Nicole nous avait donné rendez vous le soir de notre arrivée sur la route principale pour nous guider vers sa maison au bout d’un petit chemin en impasse. Après le ti punch traditionnel Nicole nous a préparé un petit repas succulent à base de crudités et d’acras. Ils nous ontt aussi offert les ingrédients pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain et un plateau de fruits. La maison est un petit havre de paix au bord de l’eau avec une superbe vue sur les ilets en face. Avec des sandales en plastique il est facile de prendre de bons bains juste devant la maison. La maison est bien équipée, parfaitement propre et il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un séjour agréable au calme. Dans la commune du François située à quelques minutes de voiture vous pouvez trouver tout ce dont avez besoin (poissons à griller sur le super bbq, fruits et légumes du marché, supermarché…). Je recommande tout particulièrement à la communauté airbnb

Nicole and her husband Marc are lovely and very attentive to the travelers they welcome in their little paradise. Nicole had arranged to meet us on the main road on the evening of our arrival to guide us to her house at the end of a small dead-end path. After the traditional ti punch, Nicole prepared us a lovely little meal made of raw vegetables and acras. They also offered us ingredients for the next morning's breakfast and a platter of fruits. The house is a small haven of peace by the water with a superb view of the islets in front. With plastic sandals, it is easy to take nice baths right in front of the house. The house is well equipped, perfectly clean, and has everything needed for a pleasant and peaceful stay. In the municipality of François, located just a few minutes' drive away, you can find everything you need (fish to grill on the great BBQ, fruits and vegetables from the market, supermarket...). I particularly recommend it to the Airbnb community.

La maison de Nicole est juste parfaite pour un séjour en Martinique. L'emplacement rêvé au bord de l'eau. Nous avons apprécié les repas en famille sous la terrasse ombragée avec une vue magnifique et le bruit des vagues. Habituée des Airbnb, je recommande particulièrement ce logement. L'accueil est irréprochable, Nicole nous attendait avec un petit plat de crudités, un jus de fruit maison, des accras et du rhum. Son mari que nous avons rencontré après est tout aussi agréable. Vraiment venez séjourner ici, vous ne serez pas déçus.

Nicole's house is just perfect for a stay in Martinique. The dream location by the water. We enjoyed family meals under the shaded terrace with a beautiful view and the sound of the waves. As an experienced Airbnb user, I particularly recommend this accommodation. The welcome was impeccable, Nicole awaited us with a small plate of raw vegetables, homemade fruit juice, accras, and rum. Her husband, whom we met later, was just as pleasant. Truly come and stay here, you won't be disappointed.

Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour dans cette superbe maison qui a littéralement les pieds dans l'eau ! Marc et Nicole sont des hôtes fantastiques ! Nicole est venue à notre rencontre lors de notre arrivée pour nous montrer le chemin, puis nous avons partagé un excellent dîner avec Nicole et Marc (accras, ti-punch, salade, ti-punch...). Ils ont par ailleurs été extrêmement attentionnés durant les 10 jours de notre séjour. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié les sorties en bateau avec Marc. La maison est idéalement située, et le fait de pouvoir s'endormir au bruit des vagues et d'aller se baigner en se levant est tout simplement merveilleux ! Un endroit idéal pour se détendre et se reposer !

We had an amazing stay in this superb house that is literally right by the water! Marc and Nicole are fantastic hosts! Nicole came to meet us upon our arrival to show us the way, and then we shared an excellent dinner with Nicole and Marc (accras, ti-punch, salad, ti-punch...). They were also extremely attentive during our 10-day stay. We also really enjoyed the boat outings with Marc. The house is ideally located, and being able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves and go for a swim upon waking up is simply wonderful! An ideal place to relax and unwind!

Accueil incroyablement chaleureux de toute la famille. Nicole et Marc sont des hôtes fabuleux. Nous avons été accueillis avec ti punch, accras et repas local lors de notre arrivée. L'endroit est magique : au bord de l'eau, nous avons été bercés par le doux bruit de la mer. Les photos sont bien représentatives et la maison est très bien ventilée. Le François est parfait pour découvrir le sud de l'île et la côte atlantique. La maison est parfaitement bien équipée et proche de plusieurs supermarchés ce qui très pratique pour faire les courses. N'hésitez pas à faire une ballade en bateau aux fonds blancs avec Marc. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Incredibly warm welcome from the whole family. Nicole and Marc are fabulous hosts. We were welcomed with ti punch, accras, and local food upon our arrival. The place is magical: by the water, we were lulled by the gentle sound of the sea. The photos are very representative and the house is very well-ventilated. Le François is perfect for discovering the south of the island and the Atlantic coast. The house is perfectly equipped and close to several supermarkets, which is very convenient for shopping. Don’t hesitate to take a boat ride to the white bottoms with Marc. We will definitely be back.

Nous avons été accompagné vers le logement, chaudement accueilli sur place par un excellent apéritif de bienvenue (rhum et accras).  Une corbeille de fruits, du pain, du beurre et de la confiture, du café... et même une bouteille de rhum étaient à notre disposition pour démarrer un séjour sans stress. L'endroit est magique, isolé , sauvage, la mer est là, la mangrove juste à côté les hôtes sont charmants Le logement est très confortable, bien équipé la terrasse est un havre de paix. La location de kayaks à qqs centaines de mètres est tenue par Hervé qui est lui aussi charmant il nous a conseillé, aidé, et bien amusé et nous avons fait une belle ballade jusqu'au îlets et à la baignoire de Joséphine.  Bref un séjour excellent

We were escorted to the accommodation, warmly welcomed on the spot with an excellent welcome drink (rum and accras). A fruit basket, bread, butter and jam, coffee... and even a bottle of rum were available to start a stress-free stay. The place is magical, isolated, wild, the sea is right there, the mangrove is right next to it, the hosts are charming. The accommodation is very comfortable, well-equipped, and the terrace is a haven of peace. The kayak rental a few hundred meters away is run by Hervé, who is also charming; he advised us, helped us, and entertained us, and we had a lovely trip to the islets and to Joséphine's bathtub.  In short, an excellent stay.

I have spent my entire life traveling and this is closer to perfect than any other place I have ever been. We spent more than a month at Nicole's place and she and her extended family (who live in the area) just adopted us, despite having no common language. There was a great deal of pointing,laughing and Google translating. We spent hours everyday sitting on the deck, watching the ocean and drinking in the scenery. If I could figure out some way of moving to Martinique, this is where I would want to live. The house is quite isolated. We loved this but others might not. We went to sleep each night to the sound of the waves. As with everywhere that we stayed in Martinique (we were there for 9 weeks) biting insects after dusk are and annoyance. The only other thing of note is there is no oven in the house and so if you wanted to spend your holidays baking bread you are out of luck.

This is your perfect place for exploring beautiful Martinique. The house site quietly on the water in a small hamlet, surrounded by nature and very quiet. While there is no beach and the we did not swim off the pier, the location offers breathtaking views and the terrace has a lovely breeze. Fans were sufficient to keep us comfortable at night. The description and pictures are accurate, the house is very clean and comfortable. Nicole and Marc are amazing hosts, made us feel very welcome, offered a home cooked meal for our first night since we arrived after nightfall (easy to do since night falls at 6.30pm) and stocked the fridge with breakfast items that lasted us for 4 days. Our highlight was a boat trip with Marc to explore the nearby islands, dive some and fish lunch. Marc is very warm, friendly, has an infectious laughter and knows the local waters well. Its easiest to communicate in French. The house sits outside of Le Francois and is perfectly located to explore the white sandy beaches in the South (approx 45 minutes away) or the waterfalls, volcanos and black san beaches in the North (approx 1 hour away). Airport is an easy 30 minute drive. A car is a must. Thank you Nicole and Marc for an unforgettable stay at your lovely place - we cannot wait to come back!
