The reception by the manager was very nice. The house is a typical French village house, very classic in style and well located with a large terrace. We had a lovely time there and in the surrounding area.

Charming house in the middle of town

We spent a lovely week in Roquebrune and found the charming house to be a great base for activities in town and the surrounding area. One should be reasonably fit as there are quite a few stairs to navigate both to the house and within it. The kitchen is somewhat grimy due to its age, but functional, and the wonderful terrace in front of the kitchen more than makes up for it. Advice for parents: we were glad that our children are quite independent (7 and 9), as the children's bedroom is right at the top, the bathroom and toilet are one floor below, and the spiral staircase is quite narrow! Overall a good house for anyone who wants to experience a typical French town authentically. We would come back!
