We had a wonderful week here with our two children. The apartment had everything we needed and was located in a perfect location near the beach and playpark and only a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It was great to have a patio at the back with a table for eating outside and also space with chairs at the front to enjoy a morning coffee in the sun. We would stay here again the next time we are in Calheta!

This beautiful apartment in Calheta was exactly what we needed for our short stay. Our group of 3 people stayed in this flat for four nights, and we had everything we needed here. Everything was beautifully clean, the place itself is spacious and well-equipped. We cooked a few meals here and enjoyed the sunshine in a private back garden. The flat is located on the main road but there is very little to none traffic noise (in April anyway) as the town is very small. The beach and a lovely playground for kids are very close, the nearest supermarket is about a 7-minute walk away and there is enough free parking up the hill, a few minutes’ walk away from the flat. Calheta is hilly as are lots of towns in Madeira, there is a fair bit of climbing to do, be warned! Teresa met us at the apartment and showed us around, her communication was great at all times and we would definitely recommend this place to any future guests!

Perfect location for a stay at Praia Calheta. The property is exactly as advertised. Very clean with comfortable beds. Teresa is a wonderful host. She is kind and very thoughtful (brought us homemade vegetable soup for supper one evening). Highly recommend her accommodation. We will definitely stay with her again on our next trip to Madeira.
