Une semaine au calme, dans la quiétude de la charmante propriété de Joëlle et Jean Marie. La réalité est conforme à la description; nous n`avons toutefois pas testé la salle de sport. C`est tout simplement un petit coin de paradis ! La qualité de l`accueil est au rendez vous, les hôtes sont disponibles; nous n`oublierons pas la soirée "pizzaiolo" ainsi que les attentions de nos hôtes lors des grandes chaleurs (rafraîchissements et douceurs près de la piscine) comme lors des fortes pluies...le jour de notre départ.

A week of tranquility in the peaceful charm of Joëlle and Jean Marie's property. The reality matches the description; however, we did not test the gym. It is simply a little piece of paradise! The quality of the welcome is on point, the hosts are available; we will not forget the "pizzaiolo" evening as well as the attentions of our hosts during the heat (refreshments and treats by the pool) as well as during the heavy rains... on the day of our departure.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans le gîte de Joëlle et Jean-Marie! Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement et conseillé toujours avec beaucoup de soin et de réactivité. Le gîte est encore plus beau qu'en photos, décoré avec goût, spacieux et très cosy. Le côté unique du lieu est vraiment la petite cascade qui passe sous la terrasse, et l'immense jardin privatif entouré de magnifiques arbres! Tellement apaisant et ressourçant...Il y a de l'ombre juste à côté du gîte, donc parfait pour déjeuner l'été ou profiter d'un moment de lecture au calme sous les arbres. Nous avons pu profiter de la grande piscine et des abords du gîte, propices à la balade, où nous avons croisé, avec grand plaisir et à de nombreuses reprises, les poules de Joëlle et Jean-Marie, ainsi que leur chaton! L'endroit est facile d'accès, avec de la place pour se garer. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit et nous reviendrons, c'est certain! Merci encore pour tout Joëlle et Jean-Marie!!

We had a wonderful stay at Joëlle and Jean-Marie's cottage! We were warmly welcomed and always advised with great care and responsiveness. The cottage is even more beautiful than in the photos, tastefully decorated, spacious, and very cozy. The unique aspect of the place is really the little waterfall that runs under the terrace, and the huge private garden surrounded by beautiful trees! So calming and rejuvenating... There's shade right next to the cottage, making it perfect for lunch in the summer or enjoying a quiet reading moment under the trees. We were able to enjoy the large pool and the surroundings of the cottage, which are great for walks, where we happily crossed paths multiple times with Joëlle and Jean-Marie's chickens, as well as their kitten! The place is easily accessible, with parking available. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely return! Thank you again for everything, Joëlle and Jean-Marie!!

We had an unforgettable stay. Joëlle and Jean Marie are extraordinarily warm. The cottage is exactly the place we were looking for: an authentic building with a real history (Joëlle and Jean-Marie will explain), absolute tranquility allowing for a complete rejuvenation, nature as far as the eye can see, a very pleasant pool beside which we couldn't resist the temptation of having an aperitif with our hosts. We had a wonderful week at Moulin du Roc, a lovely green haven that is very peaceful. We were very well settled in the charming sheepfold which was tastefully decorated. The terrace overlooking a small river was truly a bonus. Joëlle and Jean-Marie, lovely hosts, were very attentive while also discreet. We highly recommend this beautiful spot to lovers of old stones and nature.

We had a great week at the bergerie where we felt at home. The layout and decoration are perfect, and the peace is Olympic. Outside, the countryside is enchanting for walks and relaxation around and in the pool, simply divine. Our hosts are very welcoming without being too intrusive. We greatly appreciated the aperitifs and interesting discussions as well as discovering some delightful spirits. If you are looking for calm, tranquility, and rest in a region where the sun always shines, then do not hesitate and come to Jean Marie and Joëlle!

If you're looking for a peaceful haven to relax or rest, don't hesitate! The decor is very tasteful, and the equipment is complete. We greatly appreciated the welcome. Our hosts were extremely kind and gave us excellent advice on activities and restaurants in the area. If one day our path brings us back to the area, we will return without hesitation!

Jean-Marie et Joëlle ont toujours répondu rapidement à nos messages avant et pendant notre séjour. Ils étaient disponibles et à l'écoute de nos demandes et remarques. Bien plus même, vu les cadeaux du potager qu'ils nous ont offert, et les bons moments partagés autour d'un apéritif ou d'un café. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable et reposant dans un cadre magnifique : la restauration des maisons est faite avec soin, mettant en valeurs les particularité architecturales de leurs constructions, avec des touches originales qui s'y intègrent parfaitement. Le son de l'eau qui coule dans le bief m'a rappelé à de lointains souvenirs d'enfance, et la petite terrasse sur l'eau, ainsi que les arbres, nous ont assuré ombre et fraîcheurs aux moments les plus chauds, sans parler de la piscine et ses abords ombragés en partie. En plus de cela, nous avons fait la rencontre de nos hôtes que nous auront grand plaisir à revoir. Seul regret : ce fût trop court !

Jean-Marie and Joëlle always responded quickly to our messages before and during our stay. They were available and attentive to our requests and remarks. Even more so, given the gifts from the garden they offered us, and the good times shared over an aperitif or coffee. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay in a beautiful setting: the restoration of the houses is done with care, highlighting the architectural features of their constructions, with original touches that perfectly integrate. The sound of the water flowing in the ditch reminded me of distant childhood memories, and the small terrace over the water, along with the trees, ensured shade and coolness during the hottest moments, not to mention the pool and its partly shaded areas. In addition, we met our hosts whom we will be delighted to see again. The only regret: it was too short!

The place was exactly as described and was situated in a beautiful location. I had some friends who live nearby so I didn’t really use the facilities but it seemed well equipped.  Joëlle and Jean Marie were friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous converted water mill in the loveliest part of France. Joëlle and Jean-Marie were so welcoming and we totally fell in love w their property and their kitten Zazou. WiFi in the coworking space is strong so feel confident you can work remote (if you need to). The perfect escape!

Wat een heerlijk warm ontvangst door Joelle en Jean- Marie op deze prachtige locatie. Een   zeer sfeervol ingerichte gite met een lekker zwembad. We hebben hier genoten van de directe omgeving, er is veel te zien. Goede tips van Jean Marie gekregen. Joelle is zeer attent en geeft altijd goed advies. Een aanrader voor iedereen die deze streek wil ontdekken. En voor ons geldt dat een terugkeer zeker tot de mogelijkheden behoort.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bergerie. Joëlle et Jean-Marie are perfect hosts, friendly, warm and welcoming (the home-baked chocolate cake was very much appreciated!), always there to help, while also fully respecting our privacy. The Bergerie is charming and had everything we needed (esp comfy bed). Several spots to sit out. Very quiet. Perfect.

This was one of the most peaceful and relaxing vacations we had in a long time. We were warmly welcomed after our 13 hour drive with a cold beer and chat by the pool. The cottage is charming upon entry, light and airy. There was a freshly baked walnut cake to welcome us, made with walnuts from the trees on the property. Furnishings are simple and completely in character with the cottage and location. To the back of the cottage there is a deck over a babbling brook with a table and chairs and BBQ. The deck overlooks the pastures where sheep are grazing. Sometimes the sheep are inquisitive and come to see who's relaxing out on the deck :-) which is nice for us city folks. To the front there is a communal pool, clean and refreshing on those hot summer days. There is ample shadow if you want to retreat from the sun. Also various tables and chairs, a gazebo for relaxation. What I loved most about this cottage were all the little windows through out. Even one inside the shower, you an overlook the pastures when showering. The walls are so massive, about two feet or more wide, in the daytime the cottage stays cool even when the temp outside is 38 Celsius. So you open your windows at night and keep them closed in the day and you don't even need airco. Our hosts Joelle and Jean Marie are lovely people and were always there to offer tips on where to go and what to see. Never tired of answering our many questions. They pointed out lovely villages in the neighborhood to visit, the favorites Montcuq and Lauzerte. On our last morning we were invited for a French breakfast in their lovely home before our departure. This is really a little piece of heaven on earth. Peaceful, quiet and serene, a place to relax and enjoy the silence of nature.
