Viviane is friendly and warm, she welcomes her guests with a home-cooked meal and a fruit basket, which we greatly appreciated. Viviane's accommodation is well located. A lovely quiet beach is very close to Viviane's place. By car, you can easily reach Anses d’Arlet, the Diamond, and the beaches in the south. Our only complaint is the size of the accommodation (small for 4), especially the bedrooms.

We spent 10 very pleasant days at Viviane's! The apartment is basic but very functional: a kitchen equipped with everything you need (even an oven!), an air-conditioned bedroom with a mosquito net, an outdoor area for eating and/or relaxing (no view though if you're looking for that). A note about the washing machine, which is not in the apartment, Viviane did our laundry, which is nice but means you have less autonomy. :-) Perfect location for us who were looking for peace: a small non-touristy village with a beautiful beach, a few restaurants, and a convenient starting point for visiting the whole island (2 hours by car to reach the north of the island). But what makes the stay most memorable are the wonderful hosts! Viviane welcomed us like family friends; we even spent New Year's Eve with them all together, in short, it's a true experience with locals (water cut included :-p) and when we left, we felt like we were saying goodbye to friends. Thank you for everything, and who knows, maybe we'll see you again!
