The photos and the description of the accommodation matched the listing on the site perfectly. Describing the place as "atypical" is entirely accurate. Although the photos do not necessarily highlight this aspect, we appreciated it. The value for money is quite reasonable, especially for one night. One concern remains for the summer period, with higher temperatures, regarding the room facing the street if you leave the window open (no air conditioning!). The traffic was not really bothersome (we were in early June!), but it could be in July and August.

Very nice and well renovated accommodation. Very close to the city centre, you can reach bars and restaurants very quickly. Free parking spaces just below in the street. Note that the mattresses are starting to show wear and one of the beds has no bed base so it's directly on the floor, which is not ideal. But everyone will judge 😋

Cécile is a very good host. Communication went very well, the apartment is modern, very clean and has everything you need. You should just be aware that the stairs up to the second floor are quite steep, but for those who don’t mind, Cécile’s apartment is perfect for a stay in Saumur. We can only recommend it.
