We had an excellent stay with 15 days of superb weather. The gîte is situated in a very beautiful setting, it is very peaceful there, the house is spacious, very bright, well equipped, beautifully decorated with nice paintings, Asian-style décor ... (in our personal opinion). There is a lovely grounds, the carport for 2 cars is very handy in hot weather, and the large pool is an undeniable bonus. Access to the house via a key box is convenient for both arrival and departure. We had issues with the fridge and the dishwasher but we are not giving negative reviews because with Mr Rivière and the neighbour (many thanks to him) a solution was found for the fridge with not too much inconvenience. As for the dishwasher, we could do without it so we did not request an immediate fix. Mr Rivière is easy to reach, responsive and pleasant. The region is full of beautiful places: Autoire and its Reculée with the English castle / Beaulieu sur Dordogne / Loubressac / Curemonte / Carennac / Martel / Castelnau / the Padirac chasm / Montvalent / Creysse / the fortified mill of Cougnaguet / Rocamadour ....

Exceptional

Rental exceeded our expectations. We are thinking of booking again next year. Absolute calm, the beauty of the place. The owners were very attentive and extremely kind. We did not give 5 stars for the following reasons, which do not change that we fell in love with the place: Despite the high price, the two 2-seater sofas are torn at the seats. Could be better 😊. One of the beds has a very, very, very hard mattress. Not comfortable for the back 🙁. Individual fans in the bedrooms would have been a plus in the high heat. Not related to the rental: for electric car owners, charging infrastructure is almost non-existent in the tourist areas, and when you find charging points they often malfunction. During our 14-day stay, with our plug-in hybrid we mostly drove on petrol because it was difficult to recharge.

Very pleasant villa to live in. Nothing was missing in the kitchen. The pool was perfect and the neighbourhood extremely peaceful. Everything was in place for an excellent stay.
