Ligt wel op een heuvel, dus vanaf het strand of supermarkt lopend naar boven vereist een goede conditie. 
Natuurlijk kan het ook met de auto.

Bon séjour. Logement humide, surtout la salle de bain mais la météo n a pas aidé pour permettre d aérer (il n a pas fait très beau pendant notre séjour). Bel emplacement, dommage, nous n avons pas pu utiliser la piscine, beaucoup trop fraîche à notre goût toujours à cause de la météo. Sinon, elle était bien entretenue et donnait envie . Le logement est super bien équipé, avec tous les produits qu on pourrait avoir besoin.. À recommander

Good stay. Damp accommodation, especially the bathroom, but the weather did not help to air it out (it wasn't very nice during our stay). Nice location, too bad we couldn't use the pool, it was far too cold for our taste, still due to the weather. Otherwise, it was well maintained and looked inviting. The accommodation is very well equipped, with all the products one might need.. Recommended.

Accommodation very well equipped, clean, independent parking. The only downside is that it's more suitable for a family, as there’s only one closed bedroom, which lacks intimacy for two couples like us.

Great place to stay close to caletta beach and great morning sun for breakfast. The supermarket is close by so breakfast and dinner is easy to arrange. The use is of the barbeque is great!

Doroteia was een heel aardige gastvrouw. Leuk dat fruit, cereals, koffie en thee beschikbaar waren. Het ontbreekt aan niets in het huis.

We had a great stay here in Calheta.  Very good accomodation. If you want to walk to the beach and back it's about half an hour back up the hill.

Doroteia and her husband were very nice and helpful. The accommodation was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The fact that Doroteia and her husband lived one floor up never bothered us, as they always respected our privacy. Thank you again for the flexible check-in and the delicious Christmas cookies.

Location: for us staying a month with two kids (2 and 6 years old) the location was just perfect. Only two minutes drive from Calheta sand beach, nice and large playground nearby and all necessary shops (Pingo Doce grocery really has everything), farmacy, cafes, etc. A lot of hiking routes and levadas in the near was making the vacation active as well (Rabacal, Levada Nova, Ponta da Pargo, etc) Apartment: located in the ground floor (save with kids), with own parking space and and a view on the ocean. Two rooms with large very well equipped kitchen (we cooked daily meals). Only one window, higher humidity on rainy days, but on warm days door can be kept open and it helps with air circulation. The shower is rather small and the hot water boiler is not stable (sometimes no hot water). Washing machine is definitely an advantage staying long with kids. Children zone is half-separated, well equipped with toys. Large TV and very good stable WiFi. All in all, a cozy apartment except the hot water and humidity questions. Host: Doroteia is an example of sincere hospitality and care for her guests! She bought some basic grocery for us on the arrival as we had to stay inside until the negative Corona test. Once a week we received fresh friuts, she prepared the fire for our grill diner and even brought Christmas gifts! Kids were astonished! She also brought us a dehumidifier (worked really good), children seat and clothes hanger upon request. The communication was friendly and super quick. We were happy to have such a welcoming host! All in all, we had one of our best vacations on Madeira and can recommend Doroteia‘s apartment.

Doroteia und ihr Mann sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die mit großer Freude alles tun, damit man sich als Gast wohlfühlt. Ich wurde sehr herzlich aufgenommen und habe von ihnen viel über Madeira erfahren. Sie haben mich sogar vom Flughafen abgeholt und an einem Tag für einen Ausflug nach Funchal gefahren. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, modern und liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Küche gibt es alles, was man braucht: Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Ofen, Öl, Gewürze... Besonders toll fand ich den Trinkwasserspender, so musste ich nicht extra Wasser kaufen. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen wunderschönen Meerblick. Der Ort Calheta ist sehr schön und relativ ruhig. Zum Strand, Supermarkt und zur Bushaltestelle braucht man 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß und ca 3 Minuten mit dem Auto. Doroteia hat mich aber immer zum Supermarkt mitgenommen, so dass ich die Einkaufstaschen nicht den ganzen Weg hoch tragen musste. Am Sandstrand von Calheta gibt es Restaurants und Bars, einen Supermarkt und einige Anbieter für whalewatching. Ich hatte das Glück, mit 'H2O Madeira', Wale und Delfine zu beobachten. Vielen Dank an Doroteia und ihren Mann für die tolle Gastfreundschaft.

Doroteia and her husband are wonderful hosts who do everything with great joy to make their guests feel comfortable. I was given a very warm welcome and learned a lot about Madeira from them. They even picked me up from the airport and drove me one day for an outing to Funchal. The accommodation is very clean, modern, and lovingly decorated and very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need: refrigerator, freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, oven, oil, spices... I especially loved the drinking water dispenser, so I didn't have to buy extra water. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea. The town of Calheta is very nice and relatively quiet. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach, supermarket, and bus stop, and about 3 minutes by car. However, Doroteia always took me to the supermarket, so I didn't have to carry the shopping bags all the way back. At Calheta's sandy beach, there are restaurants and bars, a supermarket, and some providers for whale watching. I was lucky enough to observe whales and dolphins with 'H2O Madeira'. Thank you very much to Doroteia and her husband for the wonderful hospitality.

I highly recommend Doroteia's accommodation. Everything was perfect, the accommodation is very well maintained, beautifully decorated, and very quiet with a beautiful view of the sea. Doroteia welcomed us very warmly, she is very pleasant, very responsive to our questions, and made our stay very enjoyable. Il est extrêmement bien équipé. Seul bémol, un problème d'humidité (et de mauvaise odeur) qu’il faudrait régler pour que tout soit parfait. La piscine et son solarium après les randonnées est un vrai plus!!

Doroteia is a wonderful host, very discreet with her husband but always reachable and flexible. The accommodation is perfect for a family with 2 or 3 children. It is extremely well equipped. The only downside is a humidity issue (and a bad smell) that needs to be addressed for everything to be perfect. The pool and its solarium after hiking is a real plus!!

Very good stay, Doroteia is very cheerful and helpful, attentive. The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped, almost better than at home. There is a bit of a lack of ventilation in the bathroom. The setting is very quiet, private, and privileged; a vehicle is absolutely needed to access the beach, walks, and shops.

Appartement très bien situé pour visiter l'ile, tout confort, très propre, très bien équipé, un petit patio avec vue sur l'océan pour prendre les repas, une piscine chauffée extra pour les retours de balades, et très calme. L'appartement a peu de fenêtres mais ça n'est pas un problème, il est malgré tout assez clair avec une décoration moderne. L'hôtesse parle anglais, est très agréable et prête à rendre service. Commerces, plages et marina à 5 mn en voiture. Parking assuré dans la cours de la maison.

Apartment very well located for visiting the island, very comfortable, very clean, well equipped, a small patio with ocean views for meals, an extra heated pool for relaxing after walks, and very quiet. The apartment has few windows but that's not a problem, it's still quite bright with modern decor. The host speaks English, is very pleasant and willing to help. Shops, beaches, and marina are 5 minutes away by car. Parking is assured in the house courtyard.

Wij hebben een harstikke leuk verblijf gehad. Ons appartement had echt alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben. Het was er ontzettend rustig, we hebben genoten van het eiland en het appartement was echt ons huisje. Dorethea is echt een schat, we hebben haar door ons drukke schema niet veel gezien, maar je kan voor alles bij haar terecht. Als we terug gaan naar Madeira zouden we zeker hier terug komen.

We had a really great stay. Our apartment had everything you could possibly need. It was extremely quiet, we enjoyed the island and the apartment truly felt like our home. Dorethea is really a gem, we didn’t see much of her due to our busy schedule, but you can go to her for anything. If we go back to Madeira, we would definitely come back here.

Fantastic stay!

Gemütliche, gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit einem Schlafzimmer,  der andere Teil ist offen, zum Teil etwas abgetrennt, was uns nicht gestört hat. Es gibt einen schönen Platz zum draußen sitzen, kleines Schwimmbecken, Liegen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Cozy, well-equipped apartment with one bedroom, the other part is open, partially a bit separated, which did not bother us. There is a nice place to sit outside, small swimming pool, sun loungers, we felt very comfortable.

Doroteia is zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. we kwamen wat later aan en ze had eten voor ons gekocht, aangezien we dat zelf niet meer konden regelen. A very special place we would love to come back to. Doroteia is very hospitable and helpful. We arrived a bit late and she had bought food for us since we couldn't arrange it ourselves anymore. My brother and so booked here last minute to spend a couple more days on Madeira. Doroteia communicated with us very promptly and was very friendly and helpful. The home was quiet, clean and spacious inside, walkable to many restaurants, and the view from the sitting area outside was incredible. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool however it looked very clean and inviting. Thanks again!

Pobyt w domu Doroteia zaliczamy do bardzo udanych. Bardzo wysoko oceniam wypozażenie domu - było wszystko czego potrzebowałyśmy. Lokalizacja też bardzo dobra,  blisko plaży i wielu szlaków. Po całym dniu wedrówki miło też było skorzystać z basenu. Przyjemny widok na ocean:)Polecam😍

Our stay at Doroteia's house was very successful. I rate the amenities of the house very highly – it had everything we needed. The location is also very good, close to the beach and many hiking trails. After a whole day of hiking, it was nice to take advantage of the pool. Pleasant view of the ocean :) I recommend it😍

Thanks for a very spontaneous and flexible stay even for one night. After a long hike we had a chance to get to this nice place, do our laundry and make it dry. Beautiful view, perfect swimming pool. Comfortable beds. Do recommend this place to everyone. And do not forget to visit a perfect bacjery for breakfast in close distance. Thanks!

Wir waren 3 Wochen bei Doroteia und hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit. Von Calheta aus kann man die Insel super erkunden und diese tolle Landschaft kennen lernen. Madeira ist eine wunderschöne Insel, aber man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Mietauto oder Moped. Wir hatten auch ein paar ruhige Tage im Apartment am Pool oder sind zum Strand runter (dabei dauert der Aufstieg zurück etwas länger). Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und Doroteia und ihr Mann waren sehr freundlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder☺️

We stayed for 3 weeks with Doroteia and had a really great time. From Calheta, you can easily explore the island and get to know the wonderful landscape. Madeira is a beautiful island, but you definitely need a rental car or scooter. We also had some quiet days in the apartment by the pool or went down to the beach (the climb back takes a bit longer). The apartment is very well equipped, and Doroteia and her husband were very friendly. We would love to come back again☺️

We had a wonderful time in this place, the studio really make you feel like at home. The thing that surprised me the most, was that the place is equipped with stuff like oli herbs, sugar, salt etc for cooking, coffee tea, cornflakes, sunscreen, aftersun balsam, shower gel, hairconditoner etc. everything you might need to use once or twice without the need to buy new, and that should be done by host on airbnb in my opinion. Apart of that Doroteia was very friendly, communicative and kind person. :)

Overall we loved our stay, the host is friendly and helpful and made us feel at home, the apartment is spotless and comfortable. It’s a short drive to the beach or 30 min walk. The restaurant you can see from the apartment does wonderful food, especially the fish of the day. The only downside was the house pictured with the pool is not the place you stay, so we thought the pool would be directly outside our door to keep an eye on the kids but it is just further up on the next floor, but still easily accessible.

Spędziliśmy (3 osobowa rodzina) cudowny tydzień na Maderze. Dototeia zadbała nawet o zakupy żywności dla nas. Poczęstowała też domowej roboty pączkami - był to ostatni wtorek karnawału. Służyła radą, jak korzystać z lokalnych atrakcji. Dom był bardzo czysty i świetnie wyposażony - w kuchni jest wszystko, co trzeba, by przygotować posiłki. Ekspres do kawy na kapsułki naprawdę się przydał. Łóżka wygodne - dwa w salonie, podwójne w osobnej sypialni. Korzystaliśmy też z krzeseł i stolika przed wejściem do mieszkania oraz leżaków, które są przy basenie (do wspólnego użytku). Mieszkanie świetnie sprawdziło się jako baza wypadowa do zwiedzania wyspy.  Znajduje się na najniższym poziomie domu. Jest osobne wejście, co gwarantuje intymność i niezależność. Widać z okna kuchni oraz z tarasu przed wejściem do mieszkania ocean i okoliczne domy, w tym nowo powstające. Doroteia jest bardzo uczynna i mieliśmy z nią bardzo dobry kontakt. Domowej roboty pączki były pyszne ;). Dziękujemy za wszystko 🌻🌻🌻

We (a family of 3) had a wonderful week in Madeira. Doroteia even took care of grocery shopping for us. She also treated us to homemade donuts - it was the last Tuesday of the carnival. She provided advice on how to enjoy local attractions. The house was very clean and well equipped - the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The capsule coffee machine was really useful. The beds were comfortable - two in the living room, a double bed in a separate bedroom. We also used the chairs and small table by the entrance to the apartment and the sun loungers that are available by the pool (for communal use). The apartment worked great as a base for exploring the island. It is located on the lowest level of the house. There is a separate entrance, which guarantees privacy and independence. You can see the ocean and the surrounding houses, including some that are newly being built, from the kitchen window and from the terrace in front of the entrance to the apartment. Doroteia is very helpful, and we had very good contact with her. The homemade donuts were delicious ;). Thank you for everything 🌻🌻🌻

Fantastic Airbnb in Madeira!

Doroteia ci aveva già ospitato in altra location. Il migliore SuperHost mai conosciuto. Ci ha aspettato fino a notte tarda, quasi mattina, per ritardo aereo. Anche questo appartamento è come da descrizione (non c'era dubbio). Ottimo avere la piscina (condivisa ma eravamo soli), il BBQ ad uso esclusivo. Un grande grazie al "povero" marito che ci ha aiutato con il fuoco. Parcheggio nella proprietà. Doppio tavolini esterni per mangiare riparati o vista mare. La cucina è super accessoriata oltre lo standard. Lavatrice ad uso esclusivo. Smart TV (basta collegare il proprio account per netflix e primevideo) , WiFi e LAN molto veloci. Nonostante abitino al piano superiore, sempre molto discreti e per niente invadenti. Solo la fornitura di frutta e verdura fresca dal giardino è un super PLUS. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa, un altra volta.

Doroteia had already hosted us in another location. The best SuperHost I have ever met. She waited for us until late at night, almost morning, due to a flight delay. This apartment is also as described (there was no doubt). Great to have the pool (shared but we were alone), the private BBQ. A big thank you to the "poor" husband who helped us with the fire. Parking on the property. Double outdoor tables for dining sheltered or with sea views. The kitchen is super equipped beyond the standard. Washing machine for exclusive use. Smart TV (just connect your own account for Netflix and Prime Video), very fast WiFi and LAN. Even though they live on the upper floor, they are always very discreet and not intrusive at all. Only the supply of fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden is a super PLUS. We felt at home once again.

Madeira haben wir bereits mehrfach besucht und hatten nun zum zweiten Mal die Wohnung von  Doroteia und ihrem Mann Bernadino gebucht (beim ersten Mal über Booking com). Wir wurden  wieder sehr herzlich von Beiden empfangen und es war wieder eine super schöne Zeit. Beide sind  wirklich wunderbare Gastgeber! Die Wohnung ist sauber, gut eingerichtet und es gibt einen kleinen Sitzplatz mit Tisch, Grill und  Meerblick. Doroteia hat uns mit tropischen Früchten aus ihrem Garten versorgt und wir durften uns  sogar an ihrem Kräutergarten bedienen =). Außerdem gibt einen Pool, den man, gemeinsam  mit den Gästen der zweiten Ferienwohnung, jederzeit nutzen kann. Die Kinder hatten nach unseren  Touren immer eine Menge Spaß darin! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und freuen uns  bereits jetzt darauf! =)

We have visited Madeira several times already and have now booked Doroteia and her husband Bernardino's apartment for the second time (the first time through Booking.com). We were warmly welcomed by both of them again, and it was another wonderful time. They are truly wonderful hosts!
The apartment is clean, well-furnished, and there is a small seating area with a table, grill, and sea view. Doroteia provided us with tropical fruits from her garden, and we were even allowed to help ourselves to her herb garden =). There's also a pool that you can use at any time together with the guests of the second holiday apartment. The kids always had a lot of fun in it after our tours! We will definitely be coming back and are already looking forward to it! =)

We enjoyed the stay so much, Doroteia is very kind and helpful. Apartment was clean, very well equipt kitchen and the pool was great. There is contruction in neighborhood, a bit noisy, but we nailed it;-)

Doroteia is a very kind and joyful host! Although the access road was blocked at the moment we reached the place, our arrival in the place went very smoothly as Doroteia help us swiftly. The house is very nice, with a lot of equipments (except the scuba diving set), very well oriented. The swimming pool is amazing and allowed a nice transition at the end of the day. The location is perfect to visit the west part of Madeira. During our stay, that side of the island was sunny and warm, in contrast with the north part (like Porto Moniz, more windy and humid). Again a big thank to Doroteia for a kindness that allowed us to fully enjoy our trip to Madeira!!!

Es war ein super schöne Zeit auf Madeira und Doroteia und ihr Mann Bernardino haben alles dazu beigetragen, sind wohl und willkommen zu fühlen. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen. In dem schönen Apartment hat es an Nichts gefehlt. Es gibt auch einen schönen Pool, den man mitbenutzen kann (es gibt noch ein weiteres Apartment), allerdings waren wir immer alleine im Wasser. Wir hatten das Vergnügen 4 Wochen dort zu verbringen … sind gewandert, haben zwischendurch gearbeitet (Internetverbindung ist gut) und uns richtig heimisch gefühlt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und uns ein weiteres Mal für Doroteia entscheiden. Uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung. 👍

We had a super lovely time in Madeira, and Doroteia and her husband Bernardino contributed greatly to feeling welcome and at home. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival. The beautiful apartment had everything we needed. There is also a nice pool that can be used (there's another apartment), but we were always alone in the water. We had the pleasure of spending 4 weeks there ... we hiked, worked in between (the internet connection is good), and felt really at home. We will definitely come back and choose Doroteia again. Unconditional recommendation. 👍

Wir haben als 4köpfige Familie 14 Tage in Calheta bei Doroteia verbracht und es hat es uns an nix gefehlt. die Ferienwohnung war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, selbst eine große Schale mit Obst und eine Flasche Poncha haben uns bei der Ankunft erwartet. Besonders den Grill draußen und die kleine Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer haben wir gern genutzt.

We spent 14 days in Calheta at Doroteia’s place as a family of four, and we lacked for nothing. The holiday apartment was clean and equipped with everything we needed, even a large bowl of fruit and a bottle of Poncha awaited us on arrival. We particularly enjoyed the grill outside and the small terrace with a view of the sea.

We spent a week at Doroteia's place with two small kids. The place was clean, kitchen was well equipped and absolutely suitable for cooking. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool almost every day during our stay. We recommend.

The accommodation was exactly as we expected. Clean, pleasant, tastefully and newly furnished, with everything we needed. The lady owner was helpful and very nice.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen. Ein Supermarkt ist 2km entfernt. Der Strand ist 1,5km entfernt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

This accommodation is a good starting point for beautiful hikes. A supermarket is 2 km away. The beach is 1.5 km away. The landlady is very friendly and helpful.

A very nice place, the apartment is neat and very clean, inside you will find everything what is necessary and even more. very nice and helpful if any problem. Close to the supermarket and a beach. Nice location if someone is planing to visit whole island.

Schöne Wohnung - voll ausgestattet. Wir haben hier 5 Nächte verbracht und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet: Essig, Öl, Gewürze sowie Müsli, Tee und Kaffee war vorhanden. Doroteia hat uns zusätzlich mit frischem Obst aus dem Garten verwöhnt (Mango, Feige, Trauben, Maracuja). Gegessen haben wir im gemütlichen Außenbereich mit Meerblick - wunderschön. Waschmaschine und Wäscheleine ist ebenfalls vorhanden, was ich bei reisen mit Kleinkind wichtig finde. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Zeit hier genossen.

We spent 5 nights here and did not lack anything. The kitchen is very well equipped: vinegar, oil, spices as well as muesli, tea, and coffee were provided. Doroteia also spoiled us with fresh fruit from the garden (mango, fig, grapes, passion fruit). We ate in the cozy outdoor area with sea view - beautiful. A washing machine and clothesline are also available, which I find important when traveling with small children. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time here.

Our stay in Calheta in Doroteia’s house was amazing. She and her husband made our holiday experience in Madeira truly magical. We have stayed in 4 different Airbnb accommodations in Madeira and Doroteia’s house was by far the best. The house was very clean and tidy. The place had every small thing you can imagine. There were 4 types of towels for beach, swimming pool, bathroom and kitchen. There were multiple gadgets, utensils and cutlery in the kitchen, including a coffee machine, iron, toaster, microwave. In the outside area there is a swimming pool and a pergola. The swimming pool had nice sun beds and was very clean. There is also an amazing pergola outside the flat overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed the views whilst eating breakfasts and dinners outside. Doroteia’s house is located in an amazing spot in Calheta. It is a walking distance to Calheta beach and town centre as well as 5 minutes walk away from the Museum of Contemporary Art. There is also a nice local restaurant 2 mins away from the house. As we travelled around the island by taxi/busses we found the location of the house especially convenient as we walked everywhere in Calheta. Doroteia is an amazing host who really looked after us. We came to Calheta from Funchal by taxi. The taxi driver struggled to find the house and Doroteia went to meet us and bring us with all the suitcases to the place in her car. On our second night Doroteia took us to nearby villages of Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar. We had drinks in local bars and she told us about Madeira, local culture, history and traditions. We also got to taste an amazing traditional passion fruit cake that Doroteia made for us! She and her husband showed us main sightseeing spots on the island including Porto Moniz, Seixal and Santana. And last but not least Doroteia provided us with recipes for local poncha drink and passion fruit cake. We are truly happy we stayed in Doroteia’s place and looking forward to coming back next year!

Tudo pensado em prol do bem-estar dos hóspedes, com especial atenção aos detalhes. Piscina maravilhosa, com espreguiçadeiras, toalhas, guarda-sol, num espaço simplesmente aprazível!!! Um lugar a voltar, decididamente!

An excellent weekend!

Very nice and clean apparment near the Calheta beach. It was moder and practicaly furnished. You can find whathever you need like washing machine, toaster/sandwich, kids toys to beach or even sun creme protection. Doroteia and her husband are kind and friendly. Always very helpfull. Our three small children loved them.

Everything was great and as advertised. I didn’t get to meet Doroteia as my friends arrived before me for the check-in process but everything went smoothly. Great location if you have a car as we did.

Wir haben die Zeit im Studio House bei Doroteia sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich. Vom Haus hat man einen schönen Blick auf das Meer und die Berge von Calheta. Die Anfahrt war etwas schwierig, da wir uns zunm falschen Zielort geführt wurden (lag aber nicht an unserem Navi). Mit der Hilfe von Doroteia haben wir das Ziel gefunden. Doroteia war uns eine sehr gute Gastgeberin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Studio House with Doroteia. The accommodation was clean and tidy. The house offers a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains of Calheta. The access was a bit challenging as we were directed to the wrong destination (which was not due to our GPS). With Doroteia's assistance, we found the destination. Doroteia was a very good hostess.

Fantastic stay

Doroteia was really welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the apartment was clean and had pretty much everything you needed, the pool was a definite bonus too!

Wir haben 11 Tage im Studio von Doroteia verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Doroteia hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Die Kommunikation hat sehr gut funktioniert. Das Studio ist sehr nett und bequem eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir konnten auch den schönen Swimmingpool und die Sonnenliegen nutzen (ideal zum Erfrischen nach einer Levadawanderung oder zum Relaxen). Das Studio liegt sehr zentral für Ausflüge auf der ganzen Insel und für viele schöne Levada-Wanderungen. Der schöne Sandstrand von Calheta ist in 20 Minuten zu Fuß oder in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Das Studio liegt sehr ruhig, abseits der Hauptstraße mit schönem Blick auf die Bucht. Wir können das Studio von Doroteia sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

We spent 11 days in Doroteia's studio and felt very comfortable. Doroteia gave us a warm welcome. Communication worked very well. The studio is very nicely and comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped. We could also use the lovely swimming pool and sun loungers (ideal for refreshing after a Levada hike or for relaxing). The studio is very centrally located for excursions around the island and for many beautiful Levada hikes. The beautiful sandy beach of Calheta is a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away. The studio is very quiet, away from the main road with a lovely view of the bay. We highly recommend Doroteia's studio and would come back anytime.

The apartment has all the necessities you need. It is comfortable and private. The location is great for either hiking or going to the little beach.

Wij hebben t erg naar ons zin gehad in dit mooie appartement. Alles was aanwezig. 
De eigenaresse ontving ons persoonlijk en was erg hartelijk. 

Het was fijn dat we de auto op het eigen terrein konden parkeren. Er was ruimte genoeg, maar t is niet zo makkelijk.
