Cool, almost romantic - definitely rent a car.

Positive: Without a car, you are quite far from everything - yet very centrally located for day trips - real jungle feeling. The rental car was even arranged by the hosts. Very good and friendly atmosphere. The hostess even provided us with essentials upon arrival (bread, oil, pasta, minced steaks, etc.).
