The house is beautiful and well-equipped. The village is charming, it feels like we are in a medieval movie. The pool is perfect for enjoying tranquility. The trails are great, and one of them leads to the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen. Nearby is the Caramulo museum, Águeda, and Aveiro. Fabiana and Pedro were spectacular hosts. They go above and beyond to make the stay perfect. We will definitely return.

Apartment in renovated old stone house in small mountain village

Anyone looking to spend their holiday in an old, original, and somewhat remote mountain village with opportunities for hiking and swimming in the communal pool as well as nearby river baths will find this place perfect. For those who can't do without the internet, it's advisable to bring sufficient data as Wi-Fi currently works only very poorly. A car is absolutely necessary. It is wise to stock up on supplies as the nearest minimarket is about 4 km away. Porto and Coimbra can be reached in a good hour by car, while Aveiro and the sea are slightly faster. There are two exceptionally good restaurants near the village. The landlord Pedro is a very friendly and unusually caring landlord who quickly and efficiently resolves any issues that may arise.

Extremely quiet location with opportunities for walking, resting, and observing nature. The house was clean and welcoming. João and his family were very kind and helpful.
