Nice to have a private bathroom and toilet in each room. The main room was a bit dark, and be aware that the dormitory is only accessible from the outside, so it's ideal with older children. The gite is very well located for visiting the Verdon gorges.

Very nice establishment that can accommodate a large group! The indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as the kitchen, allow for full enjoyment of the place even with 13 or 15 people. The rooms are large and each has a private shower and toilet. The owners are very welcoming and flexible about check-in and check-out times! I recommend!

Quiet cottage ideal for a group of friends looking for affordable quality/price without seeking great luxury and comfort. For a family stay with children or elderly persons, BEWARE: many floors and stairs. Far from many large cities, Castellane is quite isolated and too quiet in winter (1 Casino, 1 Pizzeria, 1 restaurant, 1 hotel, 1 butcher, and 1 bistro open / Everything else is closed!)
