La villa annoncée est conforme aux photos, dans une végétation luxuriante, au cœur du village, et assez calme la nuit. Ouzin et sa famille sont super gentils, et compréhensifs quand l’électricité et l’eau chaude font défaut, pour nous trouver une solution de rechange. Nous avons passé quinze jours hyper sympathiques et dépaysants. La salle principale de la villa est immense, mais nous déplorons un manque de touche féminine pour la décoration,les accessoires des chambres et des salles de bain. Un bon séjour

The villa advertised is true to the photos, set in lush vegetation, in the heart of the village, and quite calm at night. Ouzin and his family are very kind and understanding when the electricity and hot water fail, helping us find an alternative solution. We had fifteen very pleasant and refreshing days. The main room of the villa is huge, but we lament a lack of feminine touch in the decoration, the accessories in the bedrooms and bathrooms. A good stay.

Nous avons passé 5 jours en famille chez Yves, dans son très joli jardin près du bolong mais au cœur du village en même temps... Un lieu un peu roots mais plein de charme. Son gardien est très agréable, la journée de pêche avec son ami était très sympa aussi.

We spent 5 days with family at Yves's, in his very nice garden near the bolong but in the heart of the village at the same time... A place a bit rustic but full of charm. His caretaker is very pleasant, and the fishing day with his friend was also very nice.

Nous étions un groupe de 3 personnes et avons loué pour 1 mois quasiment. Séjour très agréable dans une région magnifique ! Le jardin est superbe avec vue sur les bolongs et les petits gorets qui recherchent de la nourriture. Réveil tous les matins, par le sublime chant des oiseaux, un vrai régal !! Un gardien très agréable et à nos petits soins, qui nous portait parfois quelques papayes, en fonction de la récolte. Les quelques points que je vais soulever ici, n'ont pour but que de faire évoluer le confort du logement pour les occupants à venir et non de déclencher une polémique quelconque. La maison est agréable mais certains points doivent être améliorés : * dès les premiers jours l'eau du robinet coulait orange, au point qu'elle tachait nos vêtements lavés à la main et nos ongles (je précise que les vêtements étaient blancs). * l'eau chaude qui d'après ce que j'ai compris, fonctionnait avec des panneaux solaires, n'arrivait qu'à la fin de la douche et de la vaisselle. * un réfrigérateur qui ne refroidit pas suffisamment, le bac congélation a été testé, les glaces y fondent, et surtout qui fuit, le gardien a mis un bac de fortune derrière le frigo afin de recueillir l'eau qui en découle. Mais lorsque ce bac est plein, le sol de la cuisine est inondé, 1 fois par semaine. * interrupteur rond du salon qui parfois ne fonctionne plus. Des 1/2 h entières à essayer d'éteindre... * dans la chambre parentale, ventilateur qui ne fonctionne pas. * dès le début de notre séjour, l'eau de la piscine était trouble, puis a verdi. Le gardien a du la vider totalement ce qui nous en a privé durant une semaine, mais une fois remise en eau, les problèmes étaient quasi identiques, étant donné que le problème de fuite n'a pas été réglé. Malgré ses efforts le gardien ne maîtrise pas la marche à suivre et ne dispose pas des produits nécessaires pour l'entretien. Tester le PH et le régulariser est la base de tout, si cela n'est pas fait, il pourra mettre tout le chlore ou floculant qu'il voudra, cela ne changera rien., étant donné qu'il doit remettre énormément d'eau tous les jours, une eau du puits extrêmement trouble. Nous sommes repartis avec une eau identique au début, c'est à dire trouble. Je tiens à préciser que le propriétaire de la maison, nous a offert un repas au restau du coin (poulet/frites), en dédommagement et nous l'en remercions. * un problème de fourmis récurrent, petites sur les plans de travail, énormes au sol de la cusine. Surtout ne rien laisser traîner, c'est un véritable fléau ! Peut être prévoir des pièges ? * il serait bon de laisser quelques produits d'entretien et éponges aux locataires, et produits de base. Une fois ces problèmes résolus, je recommande ce logement, très bien situé, quasi au centre de Cap Skirring.

We were a group of 3 people and rented for almost 1 month. Very pleasant stay in a beautiful region! The garden is lovely with a view of the bolongs and the little piglets searching for food. Waking up every morning to the sublime song of the birds, a real treat!! A very pleasant caretaker who took care of us and sometimes brought us a few papayas, depending on the harvest. The few points I will raise here are only intended to improve the comfort of the accommodation for future guests and not to trigger any controversy. The house is nice, but some points need to be improved: * from the first days, the water from the tap ran orange, to the point that it stained our hand-washed clothes and our nails (I specify that the clothes were white). * the hot water, which from what I understand worked with solar panels, only came at the end of the shower and while washing dishes. * a refrigerator that does not cool sufficiently; the freezer was tested, the ice melted, and especially it leaks. The caretaker put a makeshift container behind the fridge to collect the water that drips out. But when this container is full, the kitchen floor is flooded once a week. * round light switch in the living room that sometimes no longer works. Whole half hours trying to turn it off... * in the main bedroom, the fan does not work. * from the beginning of our stay, the water in the pool was cloudy and then turned green. The caretaker had to drain it completely, which deprived us of it for a week, but once refilled, the problems were almost identical since the leak issue had not been resolved. Despite his efforts, the caretaker does not know the procedure and does not have the necessary products for maintenance. Testing the pH and regulating it is the basis of everything; if this is not done, he can add all the chlorine or flocculant he wants, it will not change anything since he has to add a massive amount of water every day from the extremely cloudy well water. We left with water that was identical to the beginning, namely cloudy. I want to emphasize that the owner of the house offered us a meal at the local restaurant (chicken/fries) as compensation, for which we thank him. * a recurring problem with ants, small on the countertops, huge on the kitchen floor. Especially do not leave anything lying around, it is a real plague! Maybe consider setting up some traps? * it would be good to leave some cleaning products and sponges for the tenants, and basic products. Once these problems are resolved, I recommend this accommodation, very well located, almost in the center of Cap Skirring.

A pleasant view of the bolong with the tides, a garden filled with beautiful flowers and plants, a large well-equipped house in the heart of Cap Skirring (a plus for being able to shop on foot!) and a lovely security guard who is very welcoming!

Un très bon accueil dans ce grand terrain ombragé et fleuri, avec sa piscine accueillante. Le propriétaire comme le gardien suivent bien nos mouvements en faisant tout pour que nous soyons à l'aise. Une journée de pêche avec le gardien inoubliable.

A very warm welcome in this large shaded and flowered area, with its inviting pool. The owner and the caretaker closely monitor our movements, doing everything to make us comfortable. An unforgettable day of fishing with the caretaker.

Es ist wirklich schön! Der Pool war nur leider grün und das wasser (dusche/ küche ) war anfangs braun. Filter verstopft etc. Das war leider nicht so gut konnte aber geregelt werden. Ich würde es wieder buchen. Der hausmeister chillt halt immer mit in dem gelände. Das hat vor und Nachteile!

It is really nice! Unfortunately, the pool was green and the water (shower/kitchen) was brown at first. The filter was clogged etc. That was unfortunately not so good but could be sorted out. I would book it again. The caretaker always hangs out on the premises. This has its advantages and disadvantages!

Yves’ place was nice for our young family. The garden is beautiful and Ouzin was very responsive and helpful getting fish from the market, finding palm wine and shucking oysters. The location is nice, close to town but also on the bolong (but you have to walk through town for beach access).

We had a lovely stay! Aside from a few power outages, that were local and likely unavoidable. The space was lush and beautiful, we had the perfect amount of privacy while also being in the heart of the town, with access to many wonderful restaurants! The on-grounds couple was wonderful, very kind, and helpful. I would consider staying here again if I make it back to Casamance!

Grande maison spacieuse avec une petite piscine. La plage n'est pas très proche, il faut traverser le village. Nous retiendrons surtout les qualités de l'homme de la maison : Ouzin, toujours disponible, serviable et souriant, un employé de maison exceptionnel ! Nous recommandons aussi le restaurant à côté : La mère Nano où nous avons bien mangé pour pas cher.

Large spacious house with a small pool. The beach is not very close, you have to cross the village. We will especially remember the qualities of the man in the house: Ouzin, always available, helpful, and smiling, an exceptional house employee! We also recommend the restaurant next door: La mère Nano, where we ate well for cheap.

Le gîte spacieux est situé en plein centre ville mais la palmeraie en fait en cocon de fraîcheur et de calme. Le gardien Ouzin toujours présent sur place nous a très chaleureusement accueilli.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de deux nuits. Il y a des ustensiles pour cuisiner. L'emplacement du logement permet de se rendre dans les différents services (supérettes, pharmacie, restaurant, marché etc.) Le gardien est serviable et présent à tout moment.

une case avec trois chambres dont une avec salle de bain privée, une très grande pièce principale donnant sur un jardin luxuriant, superbe ! tout pour cuisiner, une piscine petite mais profonde, naturelle (à nettoyer à chaque passage), et à savoir, une petite case de 2 personnes est aussi louée, et les locataires peuvent donc partager votre piscine et jardin :) un très bon rapport qualité prix, et un gardien et sa famille très gentils et serviables. Très bien situé en plein coeur du Cap, je vous recommande cette adresse !

a house with three bedrooms, one of which has a private bathroom, a very large living room overlooking a lush garden, superb! everything you need for cooking, a small but deep natural pool (needs to be cleaned on each visit), and to note, a small house for 2 people is also rented, and the tenants can therefore share your pool and garden :) a very good value for money, and a very kind and helpful caretaker and his family. Very well located in the heart of Cape Town, I recommend this address!

spacieux villa, très bien placée, au cœur du cap dans le calme et le beau paysage des bolongs. nous sommes arrivés en avance et sommes parties très tard. le gardien SOULEYMANE nous à fait un accueil digne des lieux (un beau sourire qui nous à mis immédiatement à l'aise accompagné d'un panier de fruits du jardin et d'un cocktail fait de fruit de la passion fait maison). Notre seul regret est de ne pas être resté plus d'une nuit. Vous qui souhaitez profiter de la Casamance traditionnel et de la beauté de Cap Skiring réservez chez Yves sans attendre

spacious villa, very well located in the heart of Cap, in the calm and beautiful landscape of the Bolongs. We arrived early and departed very late. The caretaker SOULEYMANE gave us a welcome worthy of the place (a beautiful smile that immediately put us at ease, accompanied by a basket of fruits from the garden and a homemade passion fruit cocktail). Our only regret is that we didn't stay more than one night. If you want to enjoy the traditional Casamance and the beauty of Cap Skiring, book with Yves without delay.

Our stay in Cap Skirring was a perfect wind down after a busy trip and before the long journey back to the UK. Yves was a great host and was there to welcome us. The caretaker was on hand to resolve 2 minor issues (providing a replacement kettle when the original stopped working and sorting out the electricity when the supply cut out). The house is amazing - spacious and very well equipped. Surrounded by trees which provides much-appreciated shade. The bed in the en-suite room was comfortable though only a double - the one improvement we would suggest is to upgrade to a bigger bed as there is plenty of space to do so. The kitchen was very well equipped. The pool was lovely- perhaps a couple of additional sun loungers would be good (these may have been available, we didn’t ask). Yves allowed us to stay into the afternoon (we had an early-evening flight) and provided a lift to the airport which was a kind and much- appreciated offer. All in all, a lovely couple of days! Thanks

We had a great time in This house in the centre of the village of Cap Skirring But also near the bolonge. Ouzin Made us a delicious juice of the passion tree, when we arrived. And he filled the swimmingpool for the kids. We were surprised by the WiFi, aspecially the kids. For sure we Will come back when we go to Cap Skirring.
