Christiane is an amazing host, and her place is well set up and lovely. The swimming pool is beautiful, and she goes out of her way to accommodate her guests (this included loaning us an umbrella and beach toys for our outing in St Tropez). The villa is well located to explore the French Riviera - we saw Cannes, Nice and St Tropez in 3 days. It’s a bit of an uphill drive to get up the driveway but I got the hang of it. The main issue we had was mosquitoes… nothing the host could control, and just that we came at the worst time probably. They were pretty aggressive in the early morning, which was tolerable for me but more difficult for the little ones. We stayed indoors as a result longing to enjoy the large outdoor patio. But I think people coming later in the season and without small kids won’t have the same problem. Overall I would recommend.
