We spent our first week in Bali in this villa with family (6 people). The real highlight of our stay was the on-site team. Made is an exceptional host, always available, responsive and ready to find solutions to make the stay enjoyable. I recommend following his recommendations rather than relying solely on the Homerez description. He can arrange transport with Nyoman, surf lessons with Romi and many other activities, while negotiating the best prices when possible. Komang's cooking is also excellent. The villa could use some refreshing, as it shows signs of wear, but that did not prevent us from having an excellent stay. It is even more impressive in person than in the photos. Thanks to Made, Komang and Nyoman for their welcome and kindness.

We stayed here for a week with 4 adults and 4 kids. The view From the house, the pool, and the local host (Made) were all amazing. You can walk into town across the river in about 10 minutes. You might get pretty wet at high tide. Surf out front door is excellent. Various other reviewers have noted that there’s a few maintenance things and unprotected staircases etc. all of that is true but the view, staff, location etc was what we wanted and got 100%
