Jose must be the best airbnb host ive ever met. Friendly and always available for recommendations and advice on local attractions. The place itself is truly amazing, the views are spectacular. Must admit gazing under the night sky come 5am was surreal. One can question ufos. Jose place has everything you need. Absolutely loved the home cinema, pool and jacuzzi in which you can change the temperature. Theres an awesome pizza /bar in algarinejo open even through the siesta offering cheap drinks and food. Free appetisers. The best olives ive had ever! Theres a local waterfall 20m drive away with stunning views and a hike worth visiting. We found this place centrally located for exploring, however be confident on the roads. Thanks jose 😀

What a beautiful stay! The place is in the middle of olive groves, very well located to visit many places: Granada, Córdoba, Antequera, etc. Don’t miss the restaurant Casa Piolas in Algarinejo! The villages: Priego de Córdoba, Montefrío, and many neolithic sites around Zagra.<br/>The view from the terrace offers snowy mountains and spectacular sunrises. At night, the Milky Way is unforgettable! But this December was cool for enjoying it fully! The hermitage, like a mountain refuge, is comfortable thanks to its two pellet stoves and the wood-burning stove to support the heat pump. The central room is enveloping thanks to its 'monastic choir'. The main bathroom is divine. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are comfortable, and the whole place is well-maintained. Your host, José, is an angel! What a lovely attentive and generous person. He cares about the well-being of the guests and ensured that the stay would be exceptional.

Our stay at the hermitage was perfect! <br/>This unusual accommodation has been tastefully renovated and is very well equipped. The view of the valley from the terrace is stunning. The surroundings are very quiet. If, like us, you are traveling with a dog, you can walk in the surrounding olive groves, and the terrace is well secured. Finally, José is a very attentive host. He took the time to show us hiking trails and beautiful villages to visit. Thank you for everything!
