We received a very warm welcome from Maria, Monica's mother. Despite the language barrier, she did everything to make us feel at home. We had a problem with the hot water, and she immediately offered a solution. There is no Wi-Fi in the accommodation, but you can connect from the small restaurant in the village, which has a very friendly atmosphere.

We were warmly welcomed by Monica, the house was all clean. The only small downside is that the neighbors come through the same gate to enter, so when we are outside on the terrace, they walk over "our" terrace before accessing theirs. There is no washing machine, the provided sheets are a bit rough and slide off the bed all the time (remember to bring your own sheets) and the pillows are not very comfortable as they are flat. But apart from these small details, we had a great stay, the terrace is in the sun at noon and in the evening which is very pleasant, plus the street is really not busy so it’s ideal for a nap in the sun!

After being welcomed by Monica, we discovered the accommodation, which was true to the advertisement and met our expectations. Perfect for a maximum of 4 people, this charming little house in a quiet area allowed us to explore the surroundings. Very good restaurant nearby, not to mention the very friendly bakery/bar. I recommend it for spending 3/4 days in this region of Portugal!
