Between the volcanoes of Auvergne and the Alpine peaks, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes brings together landscapes ranging from the lakes of Le Bourget and Annecy to high-mountain resorts. Our apartments, houses, studios and chalets settle you as close as possible to the slopes, the trails and the spa towns for a stay at your own pace.
Skiing, hiking and recharging at the springs
In winter, the ski areas of Les Deux Alpes, Valloire, Chamrousse and Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves offer alpine skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing, with the Deux Alpes glacier open part of the summer. From Les Belleville, you can easily reach the 3 Vallées.
In the warmer months, it's all about hiking in the Vercors massif and the Écrins, swimming in Lake Geneva from Thollon-les-Mémises, facing the Mémises, and discovering the Chaîne des Puys, listed by UNESCO. At Néris-les-Bains, you can enjoy the thermal baths and the spa park. With your own kitchen, you can cook up local market produce and come home with your skis still on, without being tied to a timetable.
Where to set down your bags
Néris-les-Bains, a spa town in the Allier, appeals for a quiet, restorative stay, with a casino and park just steps away. Les Belleville and Les Deux Alpes are aimed at skiers, from families to fans of steep descents.
Valloire and Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves, in the Maurienne, keep the soul of Savoyard villages. Chamrousse overlooks Grenoble, handy for combining city and mountains. Thollon-les-Mémises looks out over Lake Geneva, while La Roche-sur-le-Buis, in the Drôme provençale, already hints at lavender and olive oil. Our chalets and whole houses suit tribes and groups of friends well.

Frequently asked questions
How many rentals do you offer in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes?
We currently offer 272 rentals across the region, including 89 apartments, 81 houses, 42 studios. You’ll mainly find properties in Alpine resorts like Les Belleville or Les Deux Alpes, but also in Néris-les-Bains or the Drôme Provençale. Some accommodate up to 30 people, ideal for families and groups of friends.
Are the properties well rated?
Travelers give an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 to rated properties, based on 231 rentals rated so far. These reviews come from real stays and help you compare before booking. Check the detailed comments on each listing to refine your choice based on your expectations.
Do you need a car to get there and get around?
A car is strongly recommended for mountain resorts, which are often poorly served by public transport. Lyon, Geneva and Grenoble airports serve the region, and the high-speed train reaches Bourg-Saint-Maurice or Chambéry. From the stations, shuttles run up to the resorts in winter. Remember that winter tires are mandatory in many mountain towns.
What's the best time of year for a stay?
Winter, from December to April, is ideal for skiing in Les Deux Alpes, Les Belleville or the Maurienne. Summer, from June to September, is perfect for hiking in the Vercors and the Écrins, swimming in Lake Geneva and enjoying the lavender of the Drôme. The Deux Alpes glacier remains skiable for part of the summer.
Which area should I choose for my stay?
For serious skiing, head to Les Belleville, gateway to the 3 Vallées, or Les Deux Alpes. For a calm, spa-focused stay, Néris-les-Bains offers a casino and park. Thollon-les-Mémises overlooks Lake Geneva, Châtel and La Chapelle-d'Abondance keep their Savoyard character, and La Roche-sur-le-Buis already feels like Provence.
Can I cook and enjoy the local markets on site?
Yes, our rentals are whole homes equipped with a kitchen, allowing you to prepare your meals freely. Local markets are full of Savoie cheeses, cured meats and seasonal produce. In ski resorts, several properties offer ski-in/ski-out access, handy for coming back for lunch without worrying about schedules or lift lines.
