Sainte-Anne, Le Marin
At the southern tip of Martinique, Sainte-Anne lines up pale-sand beaches, a lively seaside town facing the water and trails opening onto the Atlantic. You come here to swim, walk and take your time, between turquoise water and Creole countryside.
Swim, walk and savor the south
Lay your towel down on Grande Anse des Salines, the island's best-known beach, fringed with coconut palms and sea grapes. Just beyond, the Salines pond and the Savane des Pétrifications lead toward dry, almost desert-like landscapes to explore on foot.
The coastal trail links coves and inlets all the way to the Baie des Anglais, ideal for snorkeling. In the morning, the town market offers fruit, spices and flavored rums; in the evening, you cook up spiny lobster and fish in the kitchen of your rental, before a late-night swim.
Where to stay in Sainte-Anne
Our studios, apartments and houses are spread between the town and its heights. Around the church and the square, you're within walking distance of the restaurants, the sandy beaches and the trailheads: handy for a stay without a car day to day.
On the surrounding hills, the properties offer more quiet and often a view over the Bay of Le Marin. Renting a whole space gives you the freedom to entertain, dine on the terrace and plan your days at your own pace, with family or friends.
