The apartment at Loma Green was very nice and the pool area was lovely although the sunbeds were a little uncomfortable! The apartment is located on a corner and shaded by a tree which is nice and gives some privacy. We found the apartment abit hot at night and definitely needed the fan, even in October, but the lack of aircon is reflected in the very reasonable price. The apartment was modern and clean with some nice touches. There seem to be some permanent residents living on the complex who were, it seemed, mostly English and there was a bit of a daily issue with noise at the end of each day (and domestic arguments!) from them. All in all, Puerto del Carmen wasn't for us but the apartment itself was very good value for money and a good base from which to explore the island. There was a good public transport service very close by to get to Arrecife (which felt a lot more like Spain) and to and from the airport.
