Notre séjour à Selca restera un pur moment de magie et de douceur. Ce lieu, d’une beauté renversante vous appelle au repos et aux plaisirs simples. Différentes terrasses vous permettent de vous ressourcer, au gré des clapotis de la mer. Kole est une personne bienveillante et tellement attachante. C’est avec tristesse que nous sommes reparties, nous éloignant petit à petit, de ce petit paradis, sur le bateau qui nous ramenait à la trépidante vie. Merci merci beaucoup Kole.

Our stay in Selca will remain a pure moment of magic and softness. This place, of breathtaking beauty, calls you to rest and simple pleasures. Different terraces allow you to recharge, amidst the gentle lapping of the sea. Kole is a kind and endearing person. We left with sadness, slowly drifting away from this little paradise, on the boat that took us back to the bustling life. Thank you very much, Kole.

Cozy House in Selca with BBQ

La maison de Kole est un vrai petit coin de paradis, encore plus belle que sur les photos. Si vous cherchez de la tranquillité dans une nature magnifique, vous êtes servis. La maison a tout ce qu’il faut pour être fonctionnelle, nous n’avons manqué de rien. Kole est un hôte accueillant avec qui la communication était très simple. Il est venu nous cherchez à Supetar, nous a accompagné pour faire le plein de courses et nous a amené en bateau à la maison. En plus de tout ça, nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un petit panier d’accueil avec de bons produits frais et locaux. Nous recommandons ce lieu les yeux fermés et nous avons déjà hâte de revenir!

Kole's house is a true little piece of paradise, even more beautiful than in the photos. If you're looking for tranquility in magnificent nature, this is the place. The house has everything needed to be functional, we lacked nothing. Kole is a welcoming host and communication was very simple. He picked us up in Supetar, accompanied us to do our shopping, and took us to the house by boat. On top of all this, we were lucky enough to receive a little welcome basket with good fresh and local products. We recommend this place with our eyes closed and we can't wait to return!

Nebojsa and his Irena are wonderful and kind people. This was our first vacation of this type because we usually go to hotels among the crowds and noise. This was a real vacation in every sense. Nebojsa and Irena took care of everything we needed, from arrival to departure. We look forward to coming back and we are glad that a place like this exists. Thank you for having us!

My partner and I stayed for our mini-moon. It's difficult to put in words how beautiful this little bit of paradise is. It is secluded in the most incredible bay within a national park. Each morning we woke up to the sound of nature, waves and the scene of crystal blue water. It was the first time we both were truly able to switch off in years. Nebojŝa was the most accommodating host. Arranging transport, providing local recommendations, and even taking us to and from a restaurant and delivering groceries when we had issues with our boat, when we could have been better prepared ourselves. The home is the product of the passion of a wonderful family and we are grateful they have opened their doors to share with others. There are some gems on AirBnb and this is up there with the best of the best.

An amazing gem of a place on the bay. Totally private, everything you need & multiple terraces & a dock to enjoy your time at this beautiful place. Totally flexible, we arrived on a the last ferry (6pm), pick up was arranged, we got groceries & Irene picked up a pizza for is. Kole showed us everything we needed to know. The fresh veggies, eggs & olive oil was a great gift and we enjoyed cooking healthy meals outdoor on the bay. The cove kitties (orange & black) are polite company ( if you like cats). We used the kayak to paddle about and swim in multiple bays. Studena beach, has fantastic beachcombing for sea glass. The dock is also great for swimming and one day we rented Kole’s boat to venture a little bit further to a restaurant & swim in a few different beaches. We spent 5 blissful days swimming, kayaking, relaxing. Next time we stay longer! Highly recommended.

It was a privilege to have time at this historic and masterfully designed vacation home. You will feel like you are in a dream here. The day we arrived was stormy and Kole was very supportive in making a plan to get us safely to the home with provisions. We needed the wood stove to warm up the first day even though it was late May and Kole was dedicated in making sure it was functioning. We cooked with the traditional fireplace as well as in the fully stocked kitchen. We mostly relaxed, swam  and my husband snorkeled every day.  He caught fish off the dock and cooked it right up! The Bay is private and quiet. We enjoyed every detail!

Irena and Kole were lovely people who took care of all our needs. I would recommend their holiday house as the perfect getaway by the sea. The location is quite isolated but if we needed any supplies they brought them over to us. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was fun to cook outside over the fire in the large brick oven. The char grilled flavour was delicious. If we lived closer I would definitely stay on a regular basis!

Wow, this place is phenomenal, if you want picture perfect peace and tranquility this is your spot. I cannot recommend it enough. And to top that, the hosts are such wonderful people. Absolutely perfect. I wish we’d stayed longer, will be back one day for sure. 💚

This place is absolutely beautiful - tranquil, well constructed, warm, fun and super private. We spent most nights having a bbq, watching the waves, and sleeping well. The hosts are fabulous - warm and friendly and their passion for heritage and craftsmanship shines through the place. We’d love to experience it at the tail end of summer! einfach nur traumhaft...es war ein sehr spontaner Urlaub...und wir haben jede Sekunde genossen... Kole ist ein sehr angenehmer und guter Gastgeber...wir wollen gerne nächstes Jahr wieder kommen um diese Ruhe und Entspannung wieder genießen zu können ❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a genuinely wonderful stay, as disconnected as you will let yourself be. Just switch off your phone and breathe! Everything was as you’d expect from a well thought out hideaway like this. Apart from relaxing all day, it was fun to travel around by boat, exploring the coastline and local town. There was a lovely restaurant a 20 minute motor along the coast too. A refreshing swim off the jetty each morning to start the day was just the ticket.. such a peaceful stay! Thank you Kole & Irena for the amazing hospitality

Thank you so much Kole! We have never experienced anything like it, it was incredibly peaceful, private and it felt like our own home. The only civilisation we saw were some yachts that would occasionally pull into the bay, but they were usually quiet and had gone by evening time. The water was really clear and a lovely temperature. We had our own jetty to swim off of and a kayak to take around the bay. We had some issues with the boat (no fault of Kole) but he was good at arranging a drop off of groceries and also organised a boat hire from a local business for the last day. The boat provides a lot of freedom to the local village and also to a restaurant just around the island that had the most beautiful seafood. They had a full cleaning time that arrived when we left, but it was spotless when we arrived and had all the bits you needed. We have recommended to lots of our friends and we hope to return to our hideaway soon to escape hectic London life :)

Incredibly unique stay - truly unlike any other Airbnb we’ve stayed at. It feels like your entire stay is an “experience” versus just an accommodation. We rented the small boat and used it to venture into town each morning for coffee and breakfast. My husband fished off the dock and it was so relaxing! We wished we had snorkeled sooner - definitely recommend!

This was truly the vacation of a lifetime. Kole and Irena made sure that we were fully taken care of from the very first moment we arrived. The home was simple, beautiful, and full of character. We had extreme peace and privacy, and were surrounded by the pristine land and water. The local food was amazing and we were able to cook on the wood fire every night, traveling by boat to get supplies rarely and only as needed. We were welcomed with a box from a local farm with fruits and vegetables, olive oil, and other delicacies. This is an experience unlike any other, full of magic and beauty. We will be back and we are grateful for an incredible experience.

This secluded cabin is a true gem! We feel lucky to have been able to spend a week here and absolutely loved every minute. Kole helped us get situated and provided a box of fresh and tasty farm veggies. We like to cook and grilling in the well-stocked and beautifully made outdoor wood oven was a treat. Spending lazy days swimming off the dock and reading on the outdoor terraces was incredibly relaxing. The cove has a number of boats coming in during the day but is tranquil and quiet at night.

paradisiacal: Kole's stone cabin on a quiet island cove easily merits every accolade. Highly recommended, especially to anyone seeking a true getaway, swimmers in particular! And, as others attest, Kole is a wonderful host.

A truly idyllic place to unwind. We had a lovely week of swimming, kayaking and relaxing away from people (the property can only be accessed by boat so it is very peaceful and quiet). The host was very communicative - we can definitely recommend and would love to return to this unique property again!!

Staying at this home near Selca was the highlight of our trip up the Dalmatian coast. It is absolutely beautiful, relaxed, and cozy. The owner was so kind, taking us from the harbor to the home on his speedboat. He gave us a tour of the home and some tips for exploring the area. We rented the small speedboat and traveled to Spilice Beach, which has such beautiful blue water. Every evening we cooked with the windows open, the breeze flowing through the home. We slept to the sound of the waves slapping the rocks at the shore. I can go on and on, but just know this was the perfect getaway and we would choose that as our heaven if we could.

Bei Kole und Irina was für ein Glück ein Rückzugsort, so still, so weit vom Lärm zurück. Die Ruhe hier trägt sanft durchs Land, wie eine Pause, vom Alltag entspannt. Die Wohnung: Ein Traum, mit Liebe gemacht, man schläft hier so gut durch die stille Nacht. Und wenn die Nacht sich leise senkt, der Himmel sich in Sternen schenkt, dann spürt man hier – ganz ohne Licht, wie schön die echte Dunkelheit spricht. Kein künstliches Leuchten, kein greller Schein, nur Sterne, die für dich da allein. Sie erfüllen Wünsche, noch eh man sie nennt, und zeigen, was echte Gastfreundschaft kennt. Ein Ort der Erholung, charmant, voller Glück – wer hier einmal war, möchte wieder zurück.

At Kole and Irina what a blessing a retreat, so quiet, so far from the noise. The peace here gently carries across the land, like a pause, relaxing from the daily grind. The apartment: A dream, made with love, you sleep so well through the quiet night. And when the night softly lowers, the sky grants itself in stars, then you feel here – completely without light, how beautiful true darkness speaks. No artificial glow, no glaring shine, just stars that are solely there for you. They fulfill wishes before you even mention them, and show what true hospitality knows. A place of relaxation, charming, full of happiness - whoever has been here once wants to return.

We had a great time here. Such a unique place and very peaceful.  Kole and family are great hosts and so friendly. The house is one of the most unique we have visited across the globe. We will definitly be back again. Would highly recommend!

I wanted to take time to think about how to review this little slice of heaven but nothing I say will do it justice. Kole and Irena’s cottage is a very special place and we feel lucky to have been able to stay there. If you are looking for somewhere to shut off from civilisation and power down, this is the place. Surrounded by nature, the only sounds you’ll hear are the wind in the trees, the water lapping at the rocks and the birds. The cottage is cosy and has everything you could need. We had a few days of cold weather but the wood burning stove kept it warm and the beds were very comfy. With the silence at night, this made for very restful nights sleep. What made our stay special, and unlike anywhere we have stayed before though, was Kole and Irena themselves. From the start when they met us with their boat, and a beautiful veggie box, it was clear that it was important to them that their guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay and we really appreciated their care and attention

These kinds of places are not easy to come by anywhere in the world, so we felt lucky to have stayed at Kole’s place. It’s incredibly beautiful and peaceful with a clear blue sea to look out to every day. You can fish if that’s your thing, or even watch fisher men come and go. It’s also approx 32mins to Zlatni Rat beach and other attractions. Koli is super nice, friendly and very helpful and always there to help whenever needed. We were also lucky to have great weather in late October into November. Sunny with clear skies and zero clouds. Was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully we’ll be back here and better prepared for fishing!

Kole ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, Mensch und ausserdem noch ein toller Musiker! Er hat uns sehr freundschaftlich empfangen und uns mit dem Boot zu seinem Haus  gebracht. Die Unterkunft: ein Traum mit wunderschönen Terrassen und Plätzen zum Geniessen. Wir konnten sein Boot mieten und haben schöne Ausflüge damit gemacht. Dieser Ort übertraf unsere Vorstellungen bei weitem. Wer träumt von einem entspannten Dasein in paradiesischen Verhältnissen, ist hier richtig. Danke Kole, dass wir in deinem Haus sein durften, welches das absolut Beste in unseren Kroatien- Ferien war!

Kole is a wonderful host, person, and also a great musician! He welcomed us very warmly and took us by boat to his house. The accommodation: a dream with beautiful terraces and spots to enjoy. We were able to rent his boat and had lovely trips with it. This place far exceeded our expectations. Anyone dreaming of a relaxed existence in paradise-like conditions is in the right place here. Thank you, Kole, for letting us stay in your house, which was absolutely the best part of our Croatia holiday!

Very nice, private house directly at the sea. You can snorkel, catch some fish (equipment is there), swim and have barbecue. We also watched stars, which could be seen very well. You should like cats as they come and visit you. They are nevertheless very nice and do not scratch or bite.

Everything couldn’t have been better! Felt like paradise. My wife and I came for our first wedding anniversary. We explored, boated around, fished, swam, and will cherish every moment. The hosts were the most responsive we’ve had. They answered any and all questions within minutes of me sending them they purchased me medicine when I messaged I have been feeling unwell and they even brought rain jackets to us on our last day when it started raining. On our last day we had coffee together with the host and got to know a bit more about each other. It’s a treasure of a place. The only small thing I would recommend is bringing an extra bottle of bug spray the Airbnb did come with a bottle but we ran out pretty quickly and there were a few mosquitoes out. That was our fault though knowing the house was surrounded by pristine nature. Another hugely impressive thing was just how much care the host takes to be eco-friendly! Loved every minute of our trip and can’t wait to return!

Unser Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft war einfach nur traumhaft! Irena und Kole sind super nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Begrüßung war super herzlich und wir haben uns gleich willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft und die Umgebung ist ein Traum! Der perfekte Ort um einfach abschalten zu können. Das Haus ist mit so viel Liebe und Charakter eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Überall gibt es Liegemöglichkeiten um sich entspannen zu können. Das Wasser und die Bucht sind wunderschön und wir haben den ganzen Tag geschnorchelt, sind mit dem Sup gefahren, haben auch ein paar Fische gefangen und abends gegrillt. Der ganze Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt und unvergesslich und können es nur jedem empfehlen! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ☺️

Our stay at the accommodation was simply dreamy! Irena and Kole are super nice and helpful hosts. The welcome was incredibly warm, and we immediately felt at home. The accommodation and the surroundings are a dream! The perfect place to just unwind. The house is decorated with so much love and character. We lacked for nothing. There are lounging spots everywhere to relax. The water and the bay are beautiful, and we snorkeled all day, went paddleboarding, even caught a few fish, and grilled in the evening. The whole stay was simply perfect and unforgettable, and we can only recommend it to everyone! We will definitely come back ☺️

Auch unser Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus Studena war traumhaft! Die gesamte Anlage mit gut ausgestattetem Ferienhaus und den verschiedenen Sitz- und Liegebereichen im Freien, könnte ob in der Sonne oder im Schatten, schöner nicht sein. Das Wasser ist glasklar und war angenehm warm. Wir sind viel geschwommen, waren schnorcheln und haben die vorhandene Angel ausgeworfen. Die täglichen Fahrten mit dem angemieteten Motorboot nach Sumartin waren jedes Mal ein kleines Abenteuer, waren aber bei unterschiedlichem Wellengang täglich möglich und haben sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Einmal sahen wir sogar Delfine. Vom nahen Sumartin aus wären alle Arten von Freizeitaktivitäten und Ausflügen möglich gewesen, aber wir haben lieber so viel Zeit wie möglich in unserer traumhaften Bucht verbracht. Kole hat sich perfekt um uns gekümmert und wir haben uns sehr gefreut, am Abteisetag auch noch Irena kennenzulernen. Am Anreisetag wurden wir mit einer Gemüsekiste beschenkt, die uns die ganze Woche mitversorgt hat.

Our stay at the Studena holiday home was also wonderful! The entire property with its well-equipped holiday home and various seating and lounging areas outdoors, whether in the sun or in the shade, could not be more beautiful. The water is crystal clear and pleasantly warm. We swam a lot, went snorkeling, and cast out the available fishing rod. The daily trips with the rented motorboat to Sumartin were an adventure every time, but were possible daily with different wave heights and were a lot of fun. We even saw dolphins once. From nearby Sumartin, all kinds of leisure activities and excursions would have been possible, but we preferred to spend as much time as possible in our dreamlike bay. Kole took perfect care of us, and we were very happy to meet Irena on the day of departure. On the day of arrival, we were given a box of vegetables that supplied us throughout the week.

Absolutely wonderful place! We had so much fun that we didn’t even want to leave the house, there was a lot to do! We kayaked, snorkelled, swam, caught a fish and grilled it there ☺️ the surroundings are stunning, we were amazed every day. Kole is such a good host, super responsive, helped us out in every way, and is overall a very nice person! We definitely want to go back!

Unser Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus Studena war traumhaft! Es war wirklich alles perfekt. Das Häuschen ist gut ausgestattet, stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Außenbereich bietet so viele verschiedene, liebevoll errichtete Plätze, an denen man sich aufhalten kann - mehrere Aussichtspunkte zum Sonnen/im Schatten verweilen, grillen/essen, sodass man die Bucht gar nicht verlassen möchte. Das Wasser ist glasklar, man kann vom Holzsteg aus stundenlang die Unterwasserwelt beobachten, schwimmen, schnorcheln oder angeln. Wem das nicht reicht, der kann mit dem Kajak oder dem gemieteten Boot angrenzende Buchten erkunden - es ist einfach paradiesisch!! Ganz besonders möchte ich die Gastgeber Irena und Kole hervorheben. Von Anfang an gab es eine sehr persönliche und fürsorgliche Kommunikation, man findet den Ort so vorbereitet vor, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und zu Hause fühlt. Beide ermöglichten uns, eine aufregende und wirklich entspannte Zeit zu verbringen. Danke!

Our stay at the Studena holiday house was fantastic! Everything was truly perfect. The house is well-equipped, stylishly furnished, and very clean. The outdoor area offers so many different, lovingly created spots to relax - several viewpoints to sunbathe/in the shade, grill/eat, so you hardly want to leave the bay. The water is crystal clear, you can spend hours observing the underwater world, swimming, snorkeling, or fishing from the wooden pier. If that’s not enough, you can explore nearby bays with a kayak or rented boat - it’s simply paradise!! I especially want to highlight the hosts Irena and Kole. From the very beginning, there was very personal and caring communication, you find the place so well prepared that you feel welcome and at home from the first moment. They both enabled us to have an exciting and truly relaxing time. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. So peaceful and quiet, right next to a secluded bay which was perfect for swimming and kayaking. Kole and Irena were super friendly and caring hosts. We will definitely be back.

Wow, this place is amazing: beautiful, natural, serene and peaceful. Wonderful time swimming, kayaking, cooking on the outdoor grill. You will feel right at home - there is everything you need. House is made from natural/local materials. Irena & Kole are very attentive and caring hosts. They kindly brought supplies in the week and lots of shared advice and history about the island. We loved how everything was as local and homegrown as possible. You can feel completely at one with nature. Loved every minute of it!

Right from the beginning Kole was very sweet and helpful. Picked us up from the port and had lovely little homemade / grown gifts for us. We rented a boat from The couple. It was a very fair price, and Kole taught us how to use it. Extremely private and peaceful. We cooked on the out door grill every night and slept like babies too. From start to finish an amazing experience and we had the time of our lives. Cant wait to come back next year. The lovely couple even met us for a coffee at the end and we shared a nice moment.

Wie im Paradies. Die Umgebung und Lage ist einzigartig. Irena und Kole haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Im Haus steckt sehr viel Herz und man kann sich gar nicht entscheiden auf welchem Platz man sich zuerst entspannt. Im Ort gibt es einen Supermarkt in dem man alles erhält was man benötigt. Wer wirkliche Ruhe, Entspannung und Erholung sucht ist hier genau richtig!

Like in paradise. The surroundings and location are unique. Irena and Kole welcomed us very warmly and showed us everything. The house has a lot of heart, and you can hardly decide where to relax first. In the village, there is a supermarket where you can find everything you need. Those looking for real peace, relaxation, and recovery are in the right place!

Beautiful and secluded location. The property has all the amenities you would need. Kole has put so much effort in to creating and upkeeping a magical spot, we were lucky to experience it. We went fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and spent afternoons relaxing in the outdoor seating areas and in the evening bbq'ing our dinners. Highly recommended.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit bei Irena und Kole. Die Lage und das Haus sind einmalig. Hier wurde mit vieler Liebe ,Arbeit und Zeit investiert, das ist überall zu sehen. Absolute Alleinlage. Nachts sieht man 4 Lichter in ca . 15 Seemeilen von der gegenüberliegenden Insel und den Mond.😂. Wer die Natur , Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe und was besonderes liebt, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Wir hatten unser kleines Motorboot mit dabei , das kann in Sumartin problemlos in einem kleinen Hafen geslippt werden und am Haus hat Kole eine Boje und einen Strick für das problemlose Anlegen vorbereitet. Wenn mit dem Auto angereist wird, sollte die Fähre vorab gebucht werden. Das geht einfach und gut online über den App Jadrolinija. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und wieder aufgetankt. Kole hat noch weitere Ideen, die er beim Haus verwirklichen will, viel Erfolg und Spaß dabei. Wir kommen gerne wieder hierher und können es nur weiter empfehlen.

We had a wonderful time at Irena and Kole's. The location and the house are unique. A lot of love, work, and time have been invested here, which can be seen everywhere. Absolute seclusion. At night, you can see four lights about 15 nautical miles from the opposite island and the moon. 😂. If you love nature, seclusion, and peace, you will really get your money's worth here. We had our little motorboat with us, which can be easily launched in a small harbor in Sumartin, and at the house, Kole has prepared a buoy and a rope for easy mooring. If you are arriving by car, the ferry should be booked in advance. This can be done easily and well online via the Jadrolinija app. We enjoyed our time and recharged. Kole has more ideas that he wants to implement at the house, and we wish him success and fun with them. We would love to come back here and can only recommend it.

We are so fortunate that we got the chance to stay at Irena and Kole's magical stone cottage in Selca. The structure is beautifully and simply constructed of the island's native stone and there are multiple wide terraces for sunning or napping or cooking in the outdoor hearth. We had everything we needed to be comfortable in a remote location. I think there is no more beautiful, pristine, and private place on earth than their little cove surrounded by unspoiled nature and crystal clear blue Adriatic water. I recommend the option to rent a little 6 hp boat as it was so much fun to motor back and forth to the village for supplies, or a walk. Irena and Kole are gracious, caring and relaxed hosts. Irena and her son greeted us with a box full of beautiful vegetables and fruit from their home garden which was so special to us. It was an unbelievable experience!

A true paradise for those who love a Robinson style but with everything you need.. very kind owners, beautiful, clean, comfortable house. Enchanting bay, silence, and peace. We would never have left and we will return as soon as possible.

Man kann einfach nur eins sagen: "Traumhaft". Man hat die ganze Bucht für sich alleine und das ganze Haus ist einzigartig. Der Gastgeber ist sehr zuvorkommend und super freundlich. Jederzeit wieder

One can simply say: "Dreamlike". You have the whole bay to yourself and the whole house is unique. The host is very accommodating and super friendly. Would come back anytime.

If you like rustic and peaceful this is the place for you.  I was able to adventure on my own and felt quite safe in my little cove.  I enjoyed spending time with the island cat whom I named Will.  I caught and prepared a Conger eel in a live trap that Kole explained how to use.  It was delicious.  I am looking forward to my next visit there! They are both wonderful hosts.. Thank you so much I needed this!

This place might just be paradise on earth. What a wonderful, peaceful and beautiful place. The view is spectacular, the water is clear blue and it does not get more secluded. Kole and Irena were warm, lovely and uncomplicated and made me feel right at home. I will most definitely be coming back!

Wir sind so dankbar, dass wir auf diese Unterkunft gestossen sind. Es hat einfach alles gepasst und dank Koles unkomplizierter, zuverlässiger und herzlicher Art haben wir uns immer total umsorgt & zu Hause gefühlt. Der Ort ist perfekt, um abzuschalten, die Natur zu geniessen und die umliegende Gegend zu erkunden. Auch ohne Auto war die Anreise kein Problem. Wir freuen uns auf ein baldiges wiederkommen! Fantastic location

Za ljubitelje prirode, nesputanosti , slobode i potpunog odvajanja od užurbanosti grada i svakodnevice, ova je lokacija fantastična. Cvrčci su nas navečer uspavljivali, a ujutro milozvučno budili, to je fantastična zvučna kulisa koja prati vaš dnevni ritam odmora. More je kristalno čisto i toplo (iako smo se plašili naziva uvale Studena :) ) Sve je ovdje mirno i opušteno, svatko se može pronaći u kupanju, sunčanju na privatnom deku ili terasama uz kuću, vožnji kajakom, a zajednički nazivnik za sve je mir i mir. Veliki i funkcionalni roštilj na drva na glavnoj terasi nas je uveselio čak 4 večeri kada smo na drvima pekli meso i povrće. Doista odmor za pamćenje! Nama je bilo divno i sigurno ćemo tijekom godine u mislima više puta odletjeti u Studenu...

For nature lovers, freedom, and complete separation from the hustle and bustle of the city and everyday life, this location is fantastic. Cicadas lulled us to sleep in the evening and gently woke us up in the morning; it’s a fantastic sound backdrop that accompanies your daily relaxation rhythm. The sea is crystal clear and warm (even though we were worried about the name Studena Cove :) ) Everything here is calm and relaxed; you can find yourself swimming, sunbathing on a private blanket or on the house's terraces, kayaking, and the common denominator for all is peace and tranquility. The large and functional wood grill on the main terrace delighted us for four evenings as we cooked meat and vegetables over the fire. Truly a memorable vacation! It was wonderful for us, and we will definitely fly back to Studena in our minds several times throughout the year...

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It is a great location on a bay with just one other house but within easy access of Sumartin by boat for restaurants and provisions. Kole and Irena are very nice and were very helpful in arranging transfers from Supetar and with anything else we needed. It is obvious they care a lot for their little gem of a property. They have done a lovely renovation of it with lots of tasteful touches. The house has everything you need including basics to get you going like salt, pepper, olive oil etc. We are already planning a return visit.

A wonderful place and a perfect accommodation

Ich habe von diesem Haus im GEO Reisemagazin gelesen und nach kurzer Recherche hier gefunden und gleich gebucht. Mit der Fähre von Split kamen wir nach Brac wo uns Irena und Kole herzlich empfangen und mit einem kleinen Boot ins Haus gebracht haben. Alleine die Anreise war ein Abenteuer noch nie hatte ich in einem Haus gewohnt das nur vom Meer zugänglich war. Als wir näher kamen war ich fasziniert - es war noch viel schöner als angenommen. Ganz alleine in einer großen Bucht wartet dieses wunderschön renovierte Steinhaus auf seine Besucher - unzählige Plätze, Terrassen und Möglichkeiten. In der Früh wenn die Sonne aufgeht startet man mit einem Kaffee und Blick aufs Meer in den Tag, am Vormittag geht man schwimmen, springt vom riesigen Badesteg ins türkisfarbene Meer, mittags genießt man einen kleinen Snack auf der überdachten Terrasse und nachmittags ruht man genüsslich unter den Pinien in der Hängematte direkt über dem Meer - der beruhigende Klang der Wellen gepaart mit den tausenden zirpenden Grillen schenkt einem ein herrliches Sommerschläfchen. Am späten Nachmittag geht man schnorcheln, schwimmen, fährt mit dem SUP oder liest einfach ein Buch. Und schon kehrt der Abend ein - die Grillen hören auf zu zirpen, es wird ruhig in der Bucht - nur das Meer hört man noch. Man heizt den großen gemauerten Griller ein und macht sich frischen Fisch (den uns Kole besorgt hat) oder Fleisch. Nach dem Essen ein Glas Wein auf der Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer - ein traumhafter Sternenhimmel (weil es aufgrund der Lage keine Lichtquellen gibt) macht den Tag dann perfekt. Sooo unendlich schön ist es hier, ich wusste nicht, dass es solche Plätze noch gibt. Falls man einkaufen muss oder mal nicht im Haus essen will - fährt man selbst mit einem kleinen Boot das vor dem Haus an einer boje liegt ca 10 Min in den nächsten Ort, Sumartin heißt er und ist von großen Tourismusmassen noch verschont geblieben. Hier trinkt man den Kaffee noch hauptsächlich zwischen Insulanern :). Ein großer Dank an unsere Gastgeber - Irena und Kole waren stets erreichbar und unglaublich herzliche Gastgeber - egal welche Frage oder Bitte wir hatten. Danke für diese einmaligen Tage - wir planen schon unseren Urlaub für kommendes Jahr - dann bleiben wir aber gleich länger!!

I read about this house in GEO travel magazine and found it here after a short research and booked right away. We arrived in Brac by ferry from Split, where Irena and Kole warmly welcomed us and took us to the house by a small boat. Just getting there was an adventure; I had never stayed in a house that was only accessible by sea. As we approached, I was fascinated - it was so much more beautiful than I had imagined. All alone in a large bay, this beautifully renovated stone house awaits its visitors - countless spots, terraces, and opportunities. In the morning, when the sun rises, you start the day with a coffee and a view of the sea, in the morning you go swimming, jump off the huge bathing pier into the turquoise sea, at noon you enjoy a small snack on the covered terrace, and in the afternoon you leisurely rest under the pines in the hammock directly over the sea - the soothing sound of the waves paired with the thousands of chirping crickets gives you a lovely summer nap. In the late afternoon, you go snorkeling, swimming, paddleboarding, or simply read a book. And soon the evening arrives - the crickets stop chirping, it gets quiet in the bay - you can still hear the sea. You heat up the big brick grill and prepare fresh fish (which Kole has provided) or meat. After dinner, a glass of wine on the terrace with a view of the sea - a dreamy starry sky (because there are no light sources due to the location) makes the day perfect. It is so infinitely beautiful here, I didn’t know that such places still exist. If you need to shop or don’t want to eat in the house - you can take the small boat that is moored in front of the house for about 10 minutes to the next town, called Sumartin, which has been spared from large tourist masses. Here, coffee is still mainly drunk among islanders :). A big thank you to our hosts - Irena and Kole were always reachable and incredibly warm hosts - regardless of any question or request we had. Thank you for these unique days - we’re already planning our holiday for next year - but we’ll stay longer then!!
