I had a nice stay at Villa Soleil d’Ete. The owner met me at the airport and took me to the villa. It was a pleasant place close to Blue Bay. There was a nice cafe only 2 doors away.  I recommend you try Villa Soleil d’Ete.

fantastic place but internet is not that great...and washer not working

We had a very nice stay here, it's a nice clean place and as advertised. The shaded patio is a very comfortable place to hang out on.

Nous avons passés quelques jours bien agréables dans ce studio au calme et bien situé La terrasse est très agréable, le jardin visité par de nombreux petits oiseaux. L'hôte est sympathique et réactif. Toutefois, quelques petits bémols: la taxe de séjour gouvernementale est en supplément et n'est mentionnée nulle part dans l'annonce. Le lien de l'adresse Airbnb est incorrect, on se retrouve dans la rue parrallèle. Le réglage de l'eau chaude de la douche est difficile à régler et l'étendoir a largement fait son temps...

We spent a few pleasant days in this quiet and well-located studio. The terrace is very nice, and the garden is visited by many small birds. The host is friendly and responsive. However, there are a few minor drawbacks: the government tourist tax is an extra charge and is not mentioned anywhere in the listing. The link to the Airbnb address is incorrect, ending up in the parallel street. The adjustment of the hot water in the shower is difficult to set, and the drying rack has definitely seen better days...

Suite a des soucis avec mon autre logement, Je suis arrivée ici dernière minute. J’ai été très bien accueilli. Le logement est très bien placé, 8minutes de la plage et un très bon café juste à côté. Pour l’emplacement le prix est plus que raisonnable. J’ai passé un très bon moment ici

Due to issues with my other accommodation, I arrived here at the last minute. I was very warmly welcomed. The place is very well located, 8 minutes from the beach and a very good café right next door. For the location, the price is more than reasonable. I had a very good time here.

very convenient for the airport and having Soudama waiting for our flight was great. The apartment has everything you need the kitchenette has a fridge with ice box, toaster, microwave, kettle, a two burner gas hob and plenty of pots and pans. The beach is 5 minutes walk away but you need to take a taxi to go grocery shopping. we spent lots of  time on the lovely veranda.

We were very happy with our choice. Our host was very friendly and very responsive. He also helped us to arrange a taxi to the airport at a very reasonable price, and gave local recommendations. Pros: -The apartment was very clean and beds were comfortable. -Ventilators at the ceiling really make a difference. -Internet was stable and fast enough for streaming. -Public beach is nearby and can be easily reached on foot. -There are busses nearby driving to Mahebourg. The last/first stop is near to the public beach. Recommendation for the host: An insect screen on the windows would really make a difference against mosquitoes. This was our 5th accommodation in Mauritius, and we do not know why, but no apartment /hotel we stayed had an insect screen ("Gitter" auf Deutsch). We did not see any bugs, but had some mosquitoes, which is normal for a tropical island. Having an insect screen on the windows would really make this place a perfect stay.

Villa Soleil is really close to the beach at Blue Bay. It’s in a quiet & calm location surrounded by other holiday homes. But still close to the airport (15 mins drive away), 45 mins to an hour to Port Louis (worth the drive) & close to the beautiful coast line above & below Blue Bay.

Very friendly Hosts, who actually upgraded me to a better unit ( even a pool in front ) I only stayed a few hours in order to freshen up for the flight home . The host even dropped off an hour for me, as well as offering to drop me to airport ! A lovely relaxing day

Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und sauber. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. In der Nähe ist der wunderschöne Strand (Blue Bay) und in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Der Eigentümer ist super nett und witzig. Die Unterkunft befindet sich hinter einem Tor, das erst mal nicht so leicht zu öffnen ist, wenn man nicht weiß wie. Alles in allem: Top!

The accommodation is very spacious and clean. Everything you need is there. The beautiful beach (Blue Bay) is nearby and can be reached in 5 minutes. The owner is super nice and funny. The accommodation is behind a gate that is not so easy to open if you don't know how. All in all: Top!

My husband and I together with our 11 month old baby had a wonderful overnight stay before we had to fly out the next day. Our host was super friendly and helpful.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit schöner, schattiger Veranda. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zum öffentlichen Strand sind es 5 Minuten. Die Bay ist dank ausreichender Wassertiefe auch gut geeignet zum Freiwasserschwimmen und Schnorcheln.

Well-equipped holiday apartment with a lovely, shady veranda. The landlord is very nice and helpful. It is a 5-minute walk to the public beach. The bay is also well-suited for open water swimming and snorkeling due to the sufficient water depth.

It is a really nice place. Easy to find and just within 5 minutes to the beach. The appartement was clean and actually has a whole dressing room, which was not necessary for me but maybe for some people nice. It is definitely spacious and one can stay for quite some time. I had to check in earlier because I needed to work, so an earlier check I as possible. I am really really grateful for that. I generall communication was pretty easy and I always received quickly an answer. Thank you very much

Ich war fünf Nächte zu Beginn meines ersten Mauritius Urlaubs in dem Appartement und ich kann es jedem empfehlen. Warum: - Es war toll, nach der langen 24 Stunden Anreise sehr schnell in der Unterkunft in Blue Bay zu sein, Gepäck abzustellen und sich am Strand im Schatten von der Reise zu erholen (der Gastgeber bietet einen Transfer an, hat alles super geklappt). - Der Gastgeber war bei Bedarf immer zu erreichen und ist ebenso wie seine Frau sehr freundlich, verlässlich und hilfsbereit. - Das Appartement ist sauber und sehr geräumig, das Bett mit guter Matratze, im Bad mit großer Ablage neben dem Waschbecken und es gibt sogar einen „Ankleideraum“ mit Schränken, für Gepäck, mit Waschmaschine und Bügelbrett. Die Küche ist mit Geschirr für Max. 2 Personen ausgestattet, was aber ausreicht. Mikrowelle, Gaskocher, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, draußen eine Wäscheleine und sogar Aussendusche - alles da. - Die Villa liegt in einem schönen, ruhigen und sicheren Wohngebiet, der wenige Fluglärm ab und an hat mich nicht gestört. In 5 Minuten man am Strand. Das Haus ist in zwei Appartements geteilt. Falls oben eine kleine Rasselbande tobt, könnte man das unten vermutlich hören, aber bei meinem Aufenthalt waren ein nettes ruhiges Paar meine Nachbarn - wir haben uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Das Appartement ist etwas dunkel, was vorteilhaft ist, da es sich nicht so aufheizt. - Ich habe es genossen, morgens zum Frühstück und abends nach Strand/Ausflug auf der kleinen Terrasse zu sitzen bei Vogelgezwitscher. - A propos Ausflüge: Mit Bus oder Taxi Train (günstiges Sammeltaxi) - beides kann man vor dem Haus anhalten - ist man schnell in Mahebourg. Auch die Katamarantour nach Ile aux Cerfs war der Hit, nicht verpassen! (Mietwagen hatte ich erst ab Weiterreise, benötigt man vor Ort noch nicht) Ich habe mich in dem Appartement sehr wohl gefühlt. Merci! Fazit: Perfekt zum Ankommen und Einleben im schönen Mauritius.

I stayed for five nights at the start of my first holiday in Mauritius in the apartment, and I can recommend it to everyone. Why: - It was great to be in the accommodation in Blue Bay so quickly after the long 24-hour journey, drop off my luggage, and recover at the beach in the shade from the trip (the host offers a transfer, and everything went perfectly). - The host was always reachable if needed and both he and his wife were very friendly, reliable, and helpful. - The apartment is clean and very spacious, the bed has a good mattress, and the bathroom has a large shelf next to the sink, and there is even a "dressing room" with cabinets for luggage, with a washing machine and ironing board. The kitchen is equipped with dishes for max. 2 people, which is sufficient. Microwave, gas stove, toaster, kettle, refrigerator, a clothesline outside, and even an outdoor shower - it's all there. - The villa is located in a nice, quiet, and safe residential area, and the minimal flight noise from time to time did not bother me. In 5 minutes you can reach the beach. The house is divided into two apartments. If there is a little ruckus upstairs, you might hear it downstairs, but during my stay, a lovely quiet couple were my neighbours - we didn't disturb each other at all. The apartment is somewhat dark, which is an advantage as it doesn't heat up too much. - I enjoyed sitting on the small terrace for breakfast in the morning and in the evening after the beach/excursion, listening to the birds singing. - Speaking of excursions: By bus or taxi minibus (an inexpensive shared taxi) - both can be stopped right in front of the house - you can quickly get to Mahebourg. The catamaran tour to Ile aux Cerfs was also a hit, don't miss it! (I rented a car only for the onward journey, which is not needed locally) I felt very comfortable in the apartment. Thank you! Conclusion: Perfect for arriving and settling into beautiful Mauritius.

The appartment was super clean, all is new and care. Hot shower much appreciated, position is perfect to profit of Blue Bay Beach. Easy to go to Mahébourg with the bus or taxi. Mister Sudan and his kind wife are super nice host make me welcome and fell confortable. Good price and quality balance. Thanks was a perfect choice.

The apartment I stayed in was perfect. and very comfortable. It has a big balcony to sit outside and very well equipped with everything you need for self catering. WiFi is excellent and the apartment is only 5 minutes by foot to the beach and places where you can buy drinks and snacks. I really enjoyed my stay at this place and the hosts were so helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for staying in Blue bay.
