Bon séjour, Arnaud a été très accueillant. Néanmoins logement peu adapté aux enfants, escaliers très dangereux. Logement très froid qui se chauffe très mal. Nous avons apprécié le séjour mais nous n'étions pas très sereins avec un enfant. Très bien pour des adultes valides qui recherchent la tranquillité.

Good stay, Arnaud was very welcoming. However, the accommodation is not very suitable for children, the stairs are very dangerous. The place is very cold and heats poorly. We enjoyed the stay but were not very comfortable with a child. It is very good for able-bodied adults seeking tranquility.

Bienvenue à la campagne dans la moyenne montagne ! Avec ce séjour dans cette  maison de campagne, vous pouvez vous prendre pour un ermite reclus loin du monde. Le paysage est à couper le souffle. C’est tout bonnement magnifique ! La température idéale : ni trop chaude, ni trop froide avec une petite brise bienvenue. Les meubles de la maison vous transportent dans le passé avec un mobilier des années 80 : vous avez l’impression d’être en vacances chez votre grand-mère. Arnaud est très disponible et accueillant. Le seul hic, ici, ce sont les mouches très présentes en été sur la terrasse comme dans la cuisine. Arnaud met pourtant tout en œuvre pour les dissuader.

Welcome to the countryside in the foothills! With this stay in this country house, you can feel like a reclusive hermit far from the world. The scenery is breathtaking. It is simply magnificent! The ideal temperature: neither too hot nor too cold, with a welcome little breeze. The furniture in the house takes you back to the past with decor from the 80s: you feel like you're on vacation at your grandmother's. Arnaud is very available and welcoming. The only downside here are the flies that are quite present in summer on the terrace as well as in the kitchen. However, Arnaud does everything he can to deter them.

Le cadre est superbe : vue magnifique sur la vallée, calme olympien et chevaux pour voisins. Le départ de 3 randonnées de niveaux différents au pied du gîte est un atout majeur. Voisins discrets. Charming stone cottage, fully in line with the description and photos. The welcome was very friendly. We loved the rustic and warm ambiance, as well as the quality restoration that makes the place very functional. The setting is superb: magnificent view over the valley, Olympic calm, and horses as neighbors. The starting point for 3 hikes of varying levels at the foot of the cottage is a major advantage. Discreet neighbors. An address we highly recommend!

Si vous voulez vous déconnecter totalement de la vie trépidante alors cet endroit est fait pour vous. Un véritable havre de paix et de plénitude totale dans une nature préservée. La location est comme on dit dans son " jus" un peu comme si vous étiez loger chez votre grand-mère mais quel plaisir de retrouver cet atmosphère d'un autre temps et de se remémorer les sensations d'autrefois. Malgré tout, la cuisine est très bien équipée, cuisinière et lave vaisselle, tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner; de plus elle a un sol en tomette qui donne beaucoup de cachet a celle ci. La chambre principale est spacieuse et se trouve à l'étage et la literie est très bien. la salle de bain est refaite a neuf et est très pratique et douche spacieuse. Il y a une deux chambres qui se trouvent a coté avec un lit et un clic clac; il y a également une deuxième salle de bain refaite aussi. Une petite terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur la nature, se trouve devant l'entrée ou vous pouvez vous détendre ou manger, elle est assez a l'écart et préserve l'intimité. Le propriétaire était la toute la semaine mais a été très discret et respectueux de notre intimité. Nous avons aussi pu emmener nos 3 chats dans la location et ça c'est top ! Par contre seul bémol La location n'est pas faite pour des personnes a mobilité réduite car le chemin pour descendre à l'entrée est un peu glissant et raide. Le propriétaire doit refaire le chemin prochainement. Et en ce qui concerne l'hôte , c'est un personne vraiment sympa et respectueuse qui nous a accueilli merveilleusement bien. De plus de la location il y a des chemins de randonnée qui partent depuis la maison, et les promenades sont relativement accessible et essentiellement sous l'ombre des châtaigniers. De plus une petite épicerie est ouverte du mardi au dimanche au village et ou il vendent des produits régionaux , c'est un vrai régal...

If you want to completely disconnect from the busy life, then this place is made for you. A real haven of peace and total tranquility in a preserved nature. The rental is, as they say, in its "juice" a bit like you are staying at your grandmother's, but what a pleasure to find that atmosphere of another time and to remember the sensations of the past. Despite everything, the kitchen is very well equipped, with a stove and dishwasher, everything you need to cook; moreover, it has a tiled floor that gives it a lot of character. The master bedroom is spacious and located upstairs, and the bedding is very good. The bathroom is newly renovated and very practical with a spacious shower. There are two bedrooms located next to each other with one bed and a sofa bed; there is also a second bathroom that has been renovated as well. A small terrace with a magnificent view of nature is located in front of the entrance where you can relax or eat; it is somewhat secluded and maintains intimacy. The owner was there all week but was very discreet and respectful of our privacy. We could also bring our 3 cats into the rental, and that is great! The only drawback is that the rental is not suitable for people with reduced mobility as the path to the entrance is a bit slippery and steep. The owner is set to redo the path soon. As for the host, he is a really nice and respectful person who welcomed us wonderfully. Additionally, there are hiking trails that start from the house, and the walks are relatively accessible and primarily under the shade of chestnut trees. Furthermore, a small grocery shop is open from Tuesday to Sunday in the village, where they sell regional products, it is a real treat...

Everything was just like in the pictures. The house is in a lovely place up in the hills, in a beautiful area, perfect to get away from the city. The house is very pretty, they have done a great job keeping some of the old-place architecture, with new modern features. Everything is very well equipped and clean; and there was perfect communication with the owners. We really had a great stay!
