Small, cute and functional

Positive: The chalet is cute even if small, very well done, functional and practical, especially the well-laid-out kitchen and complete with a work surface, as is the bathroom considering the size. The area is very quiet, the garden is very nice and convenient for having a little dog or sunbathing and relaxing. From the window, you can see the sun rising and setting over the mountains! It is close to visit Grenoble, various castles and parks or tourist locations. The host was kind and helpful and the host's parents who welcomed us were super lovely. Negative: Unfortunately, there is a lot of humidity all around and under the chalet, and thus the smell inside is quite strong. (We would have preferred to find the apartment somewhat heated upon arrival since it was freezing.) Additionally, the roads in winter are a bit dangerous at that point because salt is not spread to prevent ice (as apparently it is not done in the entire area, unfortunately), which causes a bit of anxiety on the steep climbs and descents when getting out in the car when it is very cold. The upper floor is a loft, and for a small couple like us, it is fine as long as you are careful, but a person who is a bit bulky would not be able to move up there without injuring themselves.

Cozy place Very, very friendly hosts. We had a great stay, and we will gladly return with our dogs, who were accepted without issue (knowing they regularly travel with us, so they aren’t bothersome or noisy). Thanks again. I would recommend you without hesitation.
