Teresa is without doubt a shrewd businesswoman. This property is situated in a great location with excellent views, very peaceful and secure, close to many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets, walkable to the busier main shopping areas and port but also easy access to buses outside. We didn’t have a car but can appreciate there was parking available in the basement.<br/>I did feel, however, it’s my job refurbing/ maintaining places like these, for over forty years, that in my opinion the decor is starting to look a little tired. Things have been touched up but it could do with a complete paint job, there’s some wallpaper damaged, the window handles pull off, there’s several holes left in the bathroom, the bath tap/shower lever doesn’t work, the shower curtain could do with a glass screen, the toilet cistern top is cracked, the hall light switch needs replacing, if you’re painting your kitchen cupboard doors you should do the inside as well and that dodgy sliding door? Wife loved the lights

The apartment has an inspiring view and Teresa is an excellent host. She provided great recommendations for traveling around Madeira, was flexible with check-in/check-out, and helped us arrange a rental car at a good price. She was always responsive and easy to reach. Highly recommended :)
