I spent a week in paradise at Marie-Helene’s place. The atmosphere is cosy and the views are breathtaking! There is everything you need, since Marie-Helene lives there herself. The location is perfect, with (excellent) delicatessens nearby, restaurants, bars and cinemas close at hand. And yet the apartment is very quiet! Finally, there is that certain something that gives the loft a special soul. You can tell it’s a place loved and cared for by its owner, and it’s a great privilege that she shares it!

Marie was a warm and welcoming host, and the key handover was very smooth. It’s a lovely apartment in Paris where you really feel at home. You can see the Eiffel Tower from the room. There’s laundry available, and she provides all the essentials you need for everyday life. The neighbourhood is very safe, and cafés, restaurants, as well as bakeries, delicatessens, butchers, fishmongers and supermarkets are all close by, so you can even pop out in the morning for fresh bread. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Paris. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We loved our time in Paris while staying at Marie-Helene's place. It is ideally located, just a two-minute walk from the main North-South Metro line and a few minutes more from the Gare de Montparnasse train station. There are two grocery stores on the street, two bakeries, two fruit/vegetable shops, a cheese shop, and several places to eat. Marie-Helene was very responsive and helpful, advising us on everything from local restaurants to bookstores. She even helped us move our luggage upstairs when we first arrived. She's a great host.
