Pleasant and peaceful place where you can enjoy a taste of the Portuguese countryside. Access to the swimming pool has 5 difficult steps, which are not recommended for people with reduced mobility, the elderly and/or small children. Although “check-out time is before midday” (written guidance from the host), we were forced to leave no later than 10:00.

Charming villa in quiet natural surroundings

We had an excellent two weeks stay in the villa in Rubiães The villa is nicely decorated, the kitchen well equipped and the views from the porch/terrace are grand. The location is perfect, the national park Peneda-Geres and cities like Braga. Guimares, Ponte do Lima and Valenca are within one hour drive. We really enjoyed the pool and the fresh eggs from the chickens every morning were an extra bonus. The host Helena is very friendly and responded very quickly to our questions. Would definitely stay again
