I spent four weeks in Alexis’s place & my time there was a dream. The apartment is so cool—beautiful art, super-comfortable bed & living area, classic Paris windows & views, fully equipped kitchen which was great for a longer stay, etc. I loved being in the 18eme Barbès/Goutte D’Or neighborhood. It is diverse & alive, and I had many pleasant days/nights wandering around the shops/cafés (shout-out Le Môme!)/restaurants there. You’ll also be close to very useful metro lines for getting into more central Paris if that’s a priority. Finally, Alexis is a perfect host. He was so warm & welcoming & very responsive to all questions & reimbursed me for a fan that I bought while I was there. I can’t recommend highly enough & hope to return for another stay! Merci Alexis!

A great apartment for 2 people to experience Paris like a local. Alexis is very friendly, trustworthy, and generous, allowing us to use everything in his apartment.
