Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Didier and Sophie's ecolodge. They were always available with tips about the area, especially for walks! The property is in a great location. The pool was definitely a big plus. Our dog Luka was also made very welcome. Waking up each morning to the rooster accompanied by his three hens was lovely. In short, definitely worth repeating.

The cabin is very pretty, nearly new, and the scenery is spectacular. Having a pool was wonderful because it was very hot those days. There was also a ping-pong table. The listing did not say that towels or sheets are not provided, but Didier was kind enough to lend us some as we arrived at 20:00 with no opportunity to buy them. The listing also did not explain that the toilet consists of relieving yourself into a bucket, covering it with sawdust and, whenever it is full, taking it out of the cabin for Didier to empty and clean (a "dry toilet"). This was an inconvenience because the toilet was located in the bedroom without a floor-to-ceiling physical partition and the smell of sawdust (or worse) filled the entire sleeping area. We would have liked to know this before booking.
