We really enjoyed our stay at Didier and Sophie’s ecolodge. They were always available with tips about the area, especially for walks! The property is in a great location. The pool was definitely a big plus. Our dog Luka was also made very welcome. Waking up each morning to the rooster in the company of his three hens was also lovely. In short, definitely worth repeating.

The cabin is very pretty, very new and the scenery is spectacular. Having a pool was wonderful because it was very hot those days. It also had a ping-pong table. The listing did not say that towels or sheets were not provided, but Didier was kind enough to lend us some, as we arrived at 20:00 with no way to buy them. The listing also didn’t explain that the toilet consists of doing your needs in a bucket, covering them with sawdust and, when it’s full, taking it out of the cabin so Didier can empty and clean it (a "dry toilet"). This was an inconvenience, because the toilet was in the bedroom without a floor-to-ceiling partition and the smell of sawdust (or worse) permeated the whole sleeping area. We would have liked to know this before booking.
