We lived in the villa for almost 3 weeks! We really liked this cozy and quiet place. Which has its own world and atmosphere. The house has everything you need for living. Villa has its Own territory with delicious passion fruits and a large clean pool with a sunbathing area. In the house there are 3 big cute bedrooms, which have big closets. For our family it was important very important , as we are large family, including children, and we were able to accommodate perfectly. You can also arrange cleaning of the house for additional payment. Very nice owner Didier helped us to rent a car, responded to any question and request. The ocean coast is very close, there are well-groomed beaches, restaurants and shops if you drive a little. We recommend every one to stop here and have a wonderful time in Mauritius

In this house, you really feel at home; everything is as described. The rooms are incredibly spacious, the beds very comfortable (very good mattresses and cushions!), and each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom. Additionally, there is an extra toilet next to the kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped (1-2 more pots would be nice), but there is no hot water. We always boiled water in a kettle for washing dishes - that worked too. Next to the kitchen, there is a small extra room with a sink and hot plate, which is good for cooking with a wok, as you can ventilate better there. The kitchen stove runs on gas, which is practical when the electricity often goes out during a cyclone ;) Also, the washing machine does not heat, which we found strange, but should not be unusual here. The central dining and living room, as well as the terrace, offer plenty of space and are comfortably furnished. The view from all (!) balconies, terraces, and bedrooms of the sea is beautiful. The pool is huge and is regularly maintained. The neighbors are very friendly! The surroundings are not particularly touristy, apart from a large hotel. Here you can really relax and get to know real life in Mauritius. We rented a car, which we highly recommend. We mostly shopped at "Winner's" in Chemin Grenier (be careful; it was once closed without prior notice - it's advisable to have water supplies). We fell in love with "La Prairie Beach," which can be reached by car within 15 minutes. What would also be pleasant and make the house perfect would be insect screens in the living room; however, I have never seen any on Mauritius or, for example, in the Seychelles. Alternatively, air conditioning in the living room would also work to get fresh air in without being besieged by insects. Overall, we were very satisfied; many details were considered in the furnishing, from drying racks to insect spray, everything was there. Jevin, our local contact, and his wife were very helpful; they even bought a few things for us since we arrived on a holiday. They checked on us during the cyclone, were constantly available, and organized a boat trip for us. Thanks again for that! We would definitely come back.
