Platis Gialos, Decentralized Administration of the Aegean
The Decentralized Administration of the Aegean brings together the Greek islands of the Aegean Sea, from Paros to Patmos by way of Karpathos, Kalymnos and Limnos. White villages, sheltered coves, monasteries and climbing cliffs: each island keeps its own temperament. Our houses and villas let you settle in for long stays at the rhythm of the ferries.
Sail, climb, wander from island to island
You hop from one island to the next by ferry from Piraeus or between the Cyclades and the Dodecanese. On Kalymnos, around Arginonta and Vathis, the limestone cliffs draw climbers from spring to autumn, while the fjords of Vathis can be reached by kayak.
On Paros, you swim at Kolymbithres before strolling through the alleyways of Parikiá. Karpathos appeals to windsurfing enthusiasts on its windy bays and to hikers who climb up to the village of Olympos. Patmos and Limnos lend themselves to quiet days, among seaside taverns, markets and uncrowded beaches.
Where to stay
Our rentals are spread across several islands of strong character. In Parikiá, on Paros, you are just steps from the port and the beaches. Platis Gialos suits stays right by the water, with the comfort of a kitchen of your own for family meals.
On Kalymnos, Arginonta and Vathis appeal to climbers and lovers of tranquility. Karpathos and Patmos offer the authenticity of less touristy islands, and Limnos, farther north, delights those seeking space. Renting an entire place means having your own terrace and your own pace, ideal with friends or as a group to explore the Aegean.
