Our stay was fantastic. Only two small things to add would be nice with a underwater vacuum cleaner for the pool. Lots of trees around the pool area. And check-out at 10.00 is a little early. Otherwise fantastic.

This house is stunning however make sure you are prepared!! Absolutely gorgeous house, beautiful decor, a great getaway for the weekend. This house is very clean and well looked after, stylish and feels like home! Catherine was very responsive, as was Marie-line who checked us in and out of the property, very polite and friendly. The house is in the countryside so there isn't much nearby, there is a supermarket a 35 minutes walk across the fields so a car would be useful. The house isn't very well equipped for a large amount of people in regards to cooking utensils, trays and serving dishes. There wasn't much toilet roll at all and no kitchen towel with limited cleaning products, not really items I expect to buy for 2 nights stay in an AirBnb. A larger than expected amount was deducted from the deposit for minor minor things. That being said, its only very minor and we had a wonderful time!

Sehr schönes Haus mit einer sehr schönen Außenanlage und großem, beheizten Pool. Einzige Mankos für uns (16 Erwachsene): der Pool war nicht ganz auf Temperatur und die vier einzelnen Betten sind nur einfache Matratzen für welche es kein Bettzeug gibt. Ich weiß nicht ob dies in der Beschreibung vom Haus stand.  Und das Haus ist sehr offen gestaltet, es gibt nur vier Schlafzimmer. Ansonsten war alles Topp!

Very nice house with a very beautiful outdoor area and a large heated pool. The only drawbacks for us (16 adults): the pool was not quite up to temperature and the four separate beds were only simple mattresses for which there was no bedding. I don’t know if this was mentioned in the house description. And the house is very open in design, there are only four bedrooms. Other than that, everything was great!

J'ai passé un superbe weekend d'anniversaire dans cette magnifique maison. Catherine était très réactive et amicale. Nous avons passé la journée à profiter du jardin, qui est vraiment très agréable, entouré de végétation et bien exposé au soleil. La cuisine était bien équipée également, et les chambres confortables. Seul petit bémol, la piscine n'était pas encore chauffée (nous y étions le premier weekend de mai). Nous avons néanmoins passé un excellent weekend, et les plus téméraires se sont tout de même baignés. Parfait pour se retrouver entre amis ou en famille.

I had a wonderful birthday weekend in this beautiful house. Catherine was very responsive and friendly. We spent the day enjoying the garden, which is truly lovely, surrounded by greenery and well-sunlit. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the rooms were comfortable. The only small downside was that the pool was not heated yet (we were there the first weekend of May). However, we had an excellent weekend, and the bravest still took a dip. Perfect for gathering with friends or family.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cette maison magnifique, parfaitement conforme aux photos. Tout était réuni pour un moment de détente en famille : la piscine chauffée à 25°C a fait le bonheur des enfants, qui ont aussi profité pleinement du grand jardin pour jouer. L’intérieur est très cosy, chaleureux, et la cheminée a ajouté une touche encore plus agréable à nos soirées. La maison est aussi très bien équipée, notamment pour les repas en famille. Un vrai petit havre de paix, idéal pour se ressourcer à la campagne!   Un grand merci à Catherine, qui a été toujours disponible par téléphone pour répondre à nos questions avec réactivité.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house, which was exactly as shown in the photos. Everything was in place for a relaxing family time: the heated pool at 25°C delighted the children, who also made full use of the large garden to play. The interior is very cozy and warm, and the fireplace added an even more pleasant touch to our evenings. The house is also very well equipped, especially for family meals. A true little haven of peace, ideal for recharging in the countryside!

Very good stay and a very beautiful place. Giving a deposit made us nervous as it is not allowed outside of Airbnb, but Catherine knows her house, its condition, and is not there to scam you. We got our full deposit back! I recommend.

Nous avons loué cette maison pour y fêter entre autres, mes 70 ans. Nous étions 4 couples et 7 enfants et avons apprécié les belles chambres et le magnifique rez de chaussé avec un sol en tomettes super agréable. Très belle maison et bel environnement. Très agréable à vivre ! Commerces à proximité. A 1h de Paris et proche de Disneyland. Catherine est très réactive. S'il pouvait y avoir une salle de bain en plus, cela serait super.

We rented this house to celebrate, among other things, my 70th birthday. There were 4 couples and 7 children, and we enjoyed the beautiful bedrooms and the magnificent ground floor with a super pleasant tiled floor. Very beautiful house and nice environment. Very pleasant to live in! Shops nearby. 1 hour from Paris and close to Disneyland. Catherine is very responsive. If there could be an extra bathroom, that would be great.

The setting is ideal for spending quality time with family both indoors (charming and spacious) and outdoors (green and calm). You have everything nearby (supermarket, bakery, …). Moreover, Catherine is friendly and has always been very available.

À noter qu'il y a quelques contraintes liées au bruit afin de respecter le voisinat, qui destinent peut-être plus la maison à des vacances en famille qu'à des retrouvailles entre amis (nous n'avons pas eu de problème personnellement !)

Very nice house 1 hour from Paris, ideal for a weekend! Note that there are some noise constraints to respect the neighbors, which may make the house more suitable for family vacations than for gatherings among friends (we personally had no problems!)

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour à Chailly , hôte très réactive et Marie Line a été très accueillante et disponible! La maison est ravissante et le jardin avec le mobilier extérieur et la piscine,  superbe. Malgré un temps incertain nous avons pu profiter de la piscine, nous avons même eu le droit à la visite d'un Paon! Logement spacieux très bien équipé et décoré. We had a pleasant stay in Chailly, the host was very responsive, and Marie Line was very welcoming and available! The house is lovely, and the garden with the outdoor furniture and the pool is superb. Despite the uncertain weather, we were able to enjoy the pool, and we even had a peacock visit us! The accommodation is spacious, very well equipped, and decorated. Supermarket and bakery just a few minutes away. We are keeping the address for future stays! nous avons loué la maison de Catherine pour une cousinade à 15 sur 2 jours et 2 nuits, superbe weekend !!! Les chambres sont grandes et les lits confortables pour 12 personnes, le canapé convertible également pour 2 personnes, par contre si plus que 15 ce sera des matelas au sol et donc un peu moins de confort mais ça passe tout de même. maison très bien équipée de manière générale, ras. Extérieur magnifique, merci encore à Catherine très à l'écoute.

We rented Catherine's house for a family reunion with 15 people for 2 days and 2 nights, what a fantastic weekend!!! The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable for 12 people, the convertible sofa also accommodates 2 people, however, if there are more than 15, there will be mattresses on the floor, making it a bit less comfortable but still doable. The house is very well equipped in general, everything is fine. The outdoor area is beautiful, thanks again to Catherine who was very attentive.

Catherine s est montrée extrêmement disponible durant tout le séjour. La maison est tres sympa avec de beaux espaces communs. La piscine et le jardin sont très agréables. Des rideaux plus occultants a l etage nous auraient permis de dormir plus longtemps le matin mais d un autre côté nous avons ainsi pu profiter au maximum de la maison 😊 on recommande et reviendra avec plaisir.

Catherine was extremely available throughout the stay. The house is very nice with beautiful common areas. The pool and the garden are very pleasant. More blackout curtains upstairs would have allowed us to sleep longer in the morning, but on the other hand, we were able to make the most of the house 😊 we recommend it and would happily return.

Nous n'avons pas eu beaucoup de chance avec le climat, mais la piscine est très propre bien amenagée et traitée. Parcontre si vous y aller avec des enfants en bas âge il faudrait les surveiller parceque la maison n'est pas cloisonnée. Nous avons bien profité du magnifique jardin de Catherine, les enfants y passaient toute l'après-midi lorsqu'il faisait beau. We had a wonderful family stay at Catherine's. Marie-Line really welcomed us well and was attentive during our stay. The house is beautiful, clean, and large enough to accommodate over a dozen people. We weren't very lucky with the weather, but the pool is very clean, well laid out, and treated. However, if you go there with young children, you should keep an eye on them because the house is not partitioned. We really enjoyed Catherine's beautiful garden, the kids spent all afternoon there when the weather was nice. Catherine is a wonderful and understanding woman, she really made us feel at home. I recommend it a thousand times. Thank you very much for everything, Catherine. Hugs

La maison de Catherine est magnifique, spacieuse et la décoration soignée. Les 4 chambres sont spacieuses, les deux lits doubles qui sont sur la mezzanine bénéficient aussi de beaucoup d’espace. La maison possède un jardin splendide avec de magnifiques arbres tout autour et une piscine très agréable, avec un volet roulant. Catherine's house is beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. The 4 bedrooms are spacious, and the two double beds on the mezzanine also benefit from plenty of space. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the living room and dining room are very pleasant and comfortable. The house has a magnificent garden with beautiful trees all around and a very pleasant pool with a rolling shutter. We had an excellent weekend with friends, everyone had their own space, and everyone was delighted. Catherine was very responsive and attentive to our requests. The person who welcomed us was also very available. I recommend this place!

La literie est très confortable, et l'équipement de la maison est parfait. La maison est très propre, rien à dire! La propriétaire, très gentille, est très réactive et est aux petits soins avec les locataires. Nous n'avons pas profité de la piscine car il faisait trop froid mais les enfants (et les adultes aussi d'ailleurs) s'imaginaient déjà dedans en plein été alors nous reviendrons!!! Nous avons eu un accueil des plus chaleureux. Je recommande ce logement sans aucune hésitation!

We had an unforgettable weekend in a very comfortable and spacious house. The house is tastefully decorated, and the environment is very calm. The bedding is very comfortable, and the house's equipment is perfect. The house is very clean, nothing to say! The owner, who is very nice, is very responsive and takes great care of the tenants. We didn't make use of the pool as it was too cold, but the children (and the adults too, by the way) were already imagining themselves in it in the middle of summer, so we will be back!!! We received the warmest welcome. I recommend this accommodation without any hesitation!

Catherine est vraiment très cordiale, réactive, attentionnée aux demandes particulières comme l'heure d'arrivée. Sa maison est décorée avec un très bon goût. C'est un havre de paix. On est tout de suite apaisé dès qu'on franchi la porte. La seule chose dont on a pas pu profiter, c'est la piscine chauffée à 21°C, quelques degrés de plus  et ça aurait été parfait :)

Catherine is truly very friendly, responsive, and attentive to special requests such as the arrival time. Her house is decorated with very good taste. It’s a haven of peace. You feel immediately at ease as soon as you step through the door. The only thing we couldn’t enjoy was the heated pool at 21°C; a few degrees higher and it would have been perfect :)

La maison de Catherine est exactement comme sur les photos, voir même mieux! Les chambres sont grandes et lumineuses, la piscine est plus grande que ce que je ne pensais et les équipements de la maison sont de haut standing. C’est la maison idéale pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis car il y a une grande cuisine qui donne sur une terrasse très agréable. Nous avons passé un super week-end pour fêter mes 30ans. En plus, la personne chargée de la remise des clés et de la location est vraiment gentille et disponible.

Catherine's house is exactly like in the pictures, or even better! The rooms are large and bright, the pool is bigger than I expected, and the house's amenities are of high standard. It's the ideal house for a family or friends getaway as there is a large kitchen leading to a very pleasant terrace. We had a fantastic weekend celebrating my 30th birthday. Additionally, the person in charge of handing over the keys and the rental is really kind and available.

Nous avons réservé le gite pour notre mariage "petit comité" sur quatre jours et avons passé un excellent moment. Le cadre est idyllique, la maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût à beaucoup plu à nos invités. Catherine est très accueillante et nous la remercions de nous avoir permis de visiter le gite à l'avance!!la personne qui gère les arrivées et les départs est très accueillante aussi. Bref un séjour magique, des photos superbes. Le seul petit bémol est la taille du frigo...un poil petit!!

We booked the cottage for our "small committee" wedding over four days and had an excellent time. The setting is idyllic, and the house, decorated with great taste, was well received by our guests. Catherine is very welcoming, and we thank her for allowing us to visit the cottage in advance! The person who manages arrivals and departures is also very friendly. In short, a magical stay with stunning photos. The only small downside is the size of the fridge... a bit small!!

La maison est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce. Elle est très agréable et spacieuse. La literie est très confortable. Seule la cuisine est un peu plus vieillotte. Elle est néanmoins bien équipée. Les extérieurs sont spacieux et bien aménagés. Le barbecue est grand et possède une broche. La piscine est bien exposée, ce qui rend la baignade bien agréable au soleil (les nuits étaient trop fraîches pour que Catherine puisse mettre en route la pompe à chaleur la chauffant qui, de toute façon, avait besoin d'une révision). À propos de la piscine, il faut noter qu'elle n'est pas protégée par une barrière. C'est le volet (motorisé) de la piscine qui fait office de protection (uniquement lorsqu'il est fermé, bien sûr). Attention donc aux enfants. Catherine nous a d'ailleurs fait signer une décharge lors de notre arrivée (ce n'était pas un problème pour nous puisqu'il s'agissait d'un we entre adultes). Dans le même ordre d'idée, le terrain n'est pas clôturé dans sa totalité et un petit cours d'eau passe au fond de la propriété : là encore, attention aux enfants. Concernant la communication, Catherine a été au top, répondant à mes très (trop) nombreuses questions toujours très rapidement. À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par Marie-Line qui nous a fait faire le tour de la maison. Elle a bien insisté sur les dangers liés à la piscine et au cours d'eau vis à vis des enfants, ce que je trouve très positif. Elle nous a fait signé un contrat de location (qui ne doit pas être différent sur le fond de celui que l'on signe via airbnb), la décharge dont je parlais précédemment et un état des lieux d'entrée. Bien penser à conserver un double de ces documents. Lors de notre checkout, c'est de nouveau Marie-Line qui s'en est occupé. Catherine étant soucieuse de l'état de sa maison (ce qui est normal), bien insister auprès de Marie-Line pour faire l'état des lieux de manière contradictoire en sortant des lieux (et en conserver un double). The house is fully compliant with the listing. It is very pleasant and spacious. The bedding is very comfortable. Only the kitchen is a bit more outdated. Nevertheless, it is well equipped. The outdoor spaces are spacious and well arranged. The barbecue is large and has a spit. The pool is well positioned, which makes swimming very pleasant in the sun (the nights were too cool for Catherine to turn on the heating pump, which, in any case, needed servicing). Regarding the pool, it's important to note that it is not protected by a fence. It is the pool's (motorized) cover that acts as protection (only when closed, of course). So be careful with children. Catherine also had us sign a waiver upon our arrival (which was not a problem for us since it was a weekend among adults). In the same vein, the property is not entirely fenced, and a small stream runs at the back of the property: again, caution with children. Concerning communication, Catherine was top-notch, responding to my many (too many) questions very quickly. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by Marie-Line, who showed us around the house. She emphasized the dangers related to the pool and the stream with respect to children, which I find very positive. She had us sign a rental agreement (which should not be different in substance from the one signed via Airbnb), the waiver I mentioned earlier, and a check-in inventory. Remember to keep a copy of these documents. At checkout, it was again Marie-Line who took care of it. Catherine, being concerned about the condition of her house (which is normal), insists that Marie-Line conduct the inventory in a contradictory manner upon leaving the premises (and keep a copy of it). We celebrated my partner's fortieth birthday in Catherine's house. We have an excellent memory of it.

A lovely stay and great host to communicate with.

We were a three generation family with ages ranging from 11 to 82 and all really enjoyed our holiday in this beautiful Briard house. The grounds were lovely and the younger members made use of the swimming pool in spite of it being unheated. It was great to be able to eat outside and we made good use of the bbq. The location made it easy to visit Paris, EuroDisney, Provins and the chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte. A perfect holiday location.

We had a wonderful family holiday. The garden and pool area were great. The house is spacious and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable.

We visited the place with our family to celebrate the 50-year wedding anniversary of our parents. We were with 4 adult couples and 5 children. The house was beautiful, very spacious garden - we loved the fields in the surrounding to go for a hike or a run - and the kids loved the small river connected to the backyard to create water barriers all day long. Disneyland was just 30 min away, and therefore an easy day trip. We did another day trip to Paris - which was easy to get to via Val d'Europe. Catherine was very responsive and friendly - and so was the onsite support of Mandy. Would definitely recommend!

We booked this trip to celebrate our parents 40th wedding anniversary and our stay at Catherine's house was lovely. The bedrooms and living areas were comfortable and there were lots of spaces to hang out for our large family of 15 (10 adults and 5 children). The kitchen was really well equiped with everything we needed for cooking throughout the day. The swimming pool was lovely and heated which was perfect for the days it was not as warm. Catherine's communication before, throughout the stay and after has been great and we received our full deposit back.

All in all excellent. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Would recommend 10/10

This place was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. It really made us question our current living situation. It was absolutely perfect for privacy and just enjoying the views. The linens were completely cleaned and fresh and the home was very tidy and welcoming. I have not had great experiences with Airbnb’s in the past, but I would definitely stay here again.

We have recently returned from an extended family holiday at this beautiful house. We were a party of 8 adults and one 2 year old child, staying for 10 nights. The photos are a true reflection of this tradition home. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare family meals to be enjoyed outdoors and we took advantage of the outdoor cooking facilities. The pool was a fantastic, a good size and well maintained. The location is remote enough to provide a peaceful environment but only a 30 minute walk, 12 minute cycle or 5 minute car journey into town with large supermarkets and train station for access to Paris (less than €20 return including metro). My only negative comment was that each person was only provided with one bath towel and there was only 2 hand towels for the 10 nights, however, when I asked if there was any others we could use, we were given extra. Would definitely recommend staying here. Marie-Line who checked us in and out was very helpful. Catherine responded promptly to any enquiries we had. Our deposit was paid back in full as per agreement.

A perfect house for a group of friends. Communications with Catherine is perfect. The garden & swimmingpool are so lovely! We had an amazing time. Really would recommend the house!

Had great time staying at Catherine's place. It is a beautiful villa, cozy, immaculately clean with a nice swimming pool. A house with all the items you’d need and all very clean and well presented. Catherine is great at communicating with us and responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Highly recommended!

The stay was tremendously nice. Upon arrival we were well received by the friendly Marie-Line. The kitchen was enormously well equipped, so for those who like to cook the house is ideal. The pool is nice and you have all the privacy you need. It is just important to check beforehand if everything works properly. The deposit is a bit high because of the many beautiful things in the house and so it is important for both the guest and Catherine that everything is checked beforehand to avoid discussion about deposit afterwards. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and the lovely beds. Definitely a must!

A beautiful house with a large garden and a swimming pool.

Beautiful cozy place, big enough for 6 adults and 3 children but not to big. Also the garden and the pool are magnificent! Would very much recommend. The kitchen could use a bit more utensils, we missed a whisk and some sharp knives and cutting boards. There are 4 bedrooms that are closed off rooms, so not 6. But the place and location are absolutely 5 stars and we enjoyed ourselves more than anything!

A really nice house with plenty of space for all eight of us. The decor inside was beautiful and the kitchen had everything you need. All of the bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The location was very peaceful but still only a 10 minute drive from the supermarket. The kids loved the pool and nightly barbecue. Overall I would highly recommend staying here and hopefully we will get a chance to return.

A beautiful tranquil setting, set in the countryside but just 10mins down the road from local amenities such as a large supermarket. A car is a must and the villa is 40mins from Disneyland Paris. The heart of Paris is 1hr by train and the station is 10mins from the villa. The metro is easy to use and we enjoyed seeing the sights in Paris. The villa itself is beautifully decorated in a traditional french style. With a large kitchen ideal for dining. The pool area is fantastic. Clean and a lovely size with a shaded area. If you have children under school age you will need to supervise them at all times as being an older building it has large windows which are from ceiling to floor with no barriers so they could easily fall. You will need these open in hot weather as there is no air conditioning. There is also a beautiful stream at the bottom of the garden. We had no issues with this, to us it just added to the character of the house. The host Catherine and her housekeeper Marie Line were brilliant hosts and we could not have wished for a friendlier welcome. They were inventive to all of our needs and wishes. Linen is provided at the villa but only one set per person so if you have children you may want to bring extra in case of accidents. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to our friends . Thank you Catherine and Marie Line x

Meget dejligt hus med en fint fransk præg. Lækre soveværelser. Super pool i den ene del af haven. Vi var en familie på 9 afsted og huset rummede fint os alle. Vi var meget tilfredse med værten og hendes lokale assistent. Vi kan klar anbefale dette igen.   

Very nice house with a nice French touch. Lovely bedrooms. Great pool in one part of the garden. We were a family of 9 and the house accommodated us all just fine. We were very satisfied with the host and her local assistant. We can definitely recommend this again.

The home is beautiful and located just outside Coulommiers, so very convenient to the supermarket and other stores. We had a great family vacation and made many good memories. We spent most of our time outdoors in the beautiful garden. There is a lot of space to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner and to play in the grass and pool. The kitchen is great, with a lot of plates and glasses for our big family. We were surprised that one of the five bedrooms is actually not a bedroom (no door), but still there was  lots of space for everyone and extra mattresses for the kids. It was also very convenient to have the washing machine since we stayed for over a week. A great home for a family vacation, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

What a beautiful home, we had a remarkable time there and would highly recommend it to others. We were in the area for my son's wedding. We had between 7 and 16 people occupying the home for a week and while you can sleep up to 16, with two bathrooms, 16 is not as easy as a smaller number would be. One of the shower rooms is in the bedroom downstairs but the toilet is in a separate room which makes it more accessible to all. There is a separate room with a toilet upstairs along with a room with shower/bathtub/sinks. The home is out in the country, very private and peaceful but only 5 min. drive from the nearest market. It is well decorated and clean. We enjoyed using the pool (were there in July) and the covered dining areas. The grounds are lit up at night and well maintained. We hosted a cocktail party for 30 people one evening and had enough dishes, silver and glasses for everyone. We found the beds to be pretty firm but know that is fairly typical in Europe. The mattresses for the floor are single and small, better suited for a child than an adult (but if you're tired enough, they work for adults too). Catherine was easy to work with and very accommodating as was the woman who greeted us, Marie Line. The instructions for the house are in French as is the orientation to the house so useful to have a person who speaks French in the group. We had a fabulous stay and hope to stay there again one day.
