Très jolie petite maison, cosy et accueillante, avec un joli petit jardin. Très bien équipée (barbecue, transats, un nécessaire de cuisine bien fourni, des livres et même des jeux de société)! Bien située, avec toutes les commodités à proximité. Un accès facile à pied à deux très belles plages également (dont une accessible uniquement à marée basse.. Oups !). Petit bémol pour le ménage (quelques moutons de poussière et toiles d’araignées, et quelques petits insectes morts qui tombent des stores des Velux sur le lit quand on cherche à les ouvrir, poêles grasses et poussiéreuses également), et caution de 300€ demandée sur place, qui ne figure pas dans l’annonce. Mais globalement, nous avons passé un très chouette séjour ! Et gros plus : une literie de qualité, très appréciée après une bonne journée de visite !

Very pretty little house, cosy and welcoming, with a lovely small garden. Very well equipped (barbecue, sun loungers, well-stocked kitchen utensils, books and even board games)! Well located, with all amenities nearby. Easy walking access to two very beautiful beaches (one of them only accessible at low tide... oops!). Minor drawback regarding cleaning (some dust bunnies and cobwebs, and a few small dead insects that fall from the Velux blinds onto the bed when you try to open them; pans were also greasy and dusty), and a €300 security deposit requested on-site, which was not mentioned in the listing. But overall, we had a very lovely stay! And big plus: good-quality bedding, much appreciated after a full day of sightseeing!

Maison très agréable et bien décorée avec une grande pièce à vivre au rez-de-chaussée. Proche d'un jolie petit port, du sentier des douaniers et de plages sauvages où on peut se baigner facilement (10 mn à pied). À notre arrivée des petites attentions (bouquet de fleurs, bouteille de cidre, gâteaux bretons + dans la cuisine des produits de base laissés par les locataires précédents et propriétaires) qui démontrent un état d'esprit généreux et bienveillant qui fait plaisir et vous met à l'aise. Very pleasant and nicely decorated house with a large living area on the ground floor. Close to a lovely small harbour, the coastal path and wild beaches where you can easily swim (10 minutes on foot). On arrival there were thoughtful touches (a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of cider, Breton cakes + basic provisions in the kitchen left by previous guests and the owners) that show a generous, caring attitude which is lovely and makes you feel comfortable. Thanks to Laétitia for her welcome and kindness!

Nous venons de passer 2 semaines dans la maison de Jacqueline. A notre arrivée, nous avons été accueilli par Laetitia, toute dynamique et enthousiaste. Laetitia qui était bien présente et disponible pendant toute la durée de notre séjour.  Nous nous sommes senti dans cette jolie maison comme chez nous. Tout est mis en place pour que l'on puisse se sentir à l'aise et prendre rapidement ses marques.  La maison est située dans un coin particulièrement calme, propice à la détente et au repos. A 10 minutes du village en voiture, à 20 minutes à pieds des côtes... Il y a de quoi profiter allègrement de cette belle région et de la maison de Jacqueline.  Nous sommes donc ravi de notre séjour. Il faut juste prévoir une caution de 200€ qui n'avait pas été mentionnée en amont. Et contrairement à la description, nous disposions bien du WIFI, et étions ravi de constater un emplacement pour notre voiture sous un carport. Merci à Jacqueline et Laetitia pour cet agréable séjour sur les côtes d'Armor.

We have just spent 2 weeks in Jacqueline’s house. On arrival we were welcomed by Laetitia, who was full of energy and enthusiasm. Laetitia was present and available throughout our stay.

We felt at home in this lovely house. Everything is arranged so you can feel comfortable and settle in quickly.

The house is located in a particularly quiet area, ideal for relaxation and rest. 10 minutes by car to the village, 20 minutes on foot to the coast... There is plenty to enjoy in this beautiful region and in Jacqueline’s house.

We are therefore very pleased with our stay. Just be aware of a €200 deposit which had not been mentioned beforehand. And contrary to the description, we did have Wi‑Fi and were pleased to find a parking space for our car under a carport.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in Plouha. Laetitia verwelkomde ons en dat heel stipt en vriendelijk. De communicatie met de eigenaars tevoren was zeer minimaal, maar via SMS op het laatste moment kwam alles goed. Het huis voldeed aan de verwachtingen, het was ruim genoeg voor ons (2 volwassenen en 3 tieners). Het was fijn dat er twee WC' zijn.  Het was schoon en gezellig ingericht. Het tuintje is heerlijk, het was prachtig weer en we hebben vaak van de BBQ gebruik gemaakt.  De wifi was prima en het was ook prettig dat er een wasmachine is en een droger. In het huis misten we alleen een waterkoker of fluitketel.  De buurt (Kersalic) is een heerlijk rustig en zeer charmant gehucht met mooie huizen en tuinen. Er zijn twee stranden dichtbij, hoewel lopen met kinderen en spullen toch best een hele toer is, dus meestal namen we toch de auto naar het best bereikbare strand (de andere, Gwin Zegal is een hele klim). Plage Bonaparte, een stukje verderop, is ook heerlijk. Het was fijn dat er een boekje lag met de getijden erin, want het ene strand is niet bereikbaar bij hoog water, gezien de enorme verschillen tussen eb en vloed in Bretagne. Plouha heeft verder alles wat men nodig heeft qua winkels, we fietsten elke ochtend naar de bakker, wat enig was.  Ik zou er geen probleem mee hebben nog eens terug te komen hier!

We had a lovely holiday in Plouha. Laetitia welcomed us and was very punctual and friendly. Communication with the owners beforehand was minimal, but a last-minute SMS sorted everything out. The house met our expectations; it was spacious enough for us (2 adults and 3 teenagers). It was nice that there are two toilets.
It was clean and cosy. The little garden is delightful; the weather was great and we used the BBQ often.
The Wi‑Fi was fine, and it was convenient to have a washer and a dryer. The only thing missing in the house was a kettle.
The area (Kersalic) is a wonderfully quiet and very charming hamlet with lovely houses and gardens. There are two beaches nearby, although walking to them with children and gear can be quite a trek, so we usually drove to the most accessible beach (the other, Gwin Zegal, is quite a climb). Plage Bonaparte, a bit further away, is also lovely. It was helpful that there was a booklet with the tides, as one beach is not accessible at high tide due to the large differences between low and high water in Brittany. Plouha has everything you need in terms of shops; we cycled to the bakery every morning, which was lovely.
I wouldn’t have any problem coming back here!

This house is in a wonderful part of France - Brittany. Located literally within walking distances to two beaches, the house is private and charming. It is a bit rustic- a stone house that has been expanded.  The upstairs master bedroom is lovely - light and airy. The second upstairs room is up steep steps, just off the kitchen. The third room is on the ground floor, and has a private toilet and sink.  The yard is charming, with many flowers. We used the bbq, as well as the fireplace.  The house is located a distance outside of Plouha, and we did get lost a few times trying to get to and from town, since our GPS did not include this area.  Laetitia, who cares for the house, was kind and generous and helped us out many times during our two-week stay.

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances dans cette maison de pécheur. La hameau est très paisible et l'accès aux plages à pied par le sentier côtier était magnifique.

Nous avons passé 1 semaine en famille (3 adultes et 2 enfants de 4 et 6 ans) hyper agréable chez Jacqueline. La maison est située à 2 km de la sortie de Plouha en direction de la mer, au bout de bout quasiment ! Nous avons pu aller à pied à la plage de Gwin Zegal, située en bas d'une falaise, accessible par un sentier et un escalier. Les enfants se sont éclatés sur les rochers. De belles balades sont à faire sur le sentier des douaniers. La rue est très calme, une à deux voitures par jour, aucun bruit sinon les chants des oiseaux. La maison est très bien équipée. La cuisine contient tout le nécessaire de type épicerie ce qui permet d'arriver tranquillement. Sur les 3 chambres, 1 seule est fermée par une porte, les 2 autres sont situées pour l'une au dessus de la cuisine (petite chambre) et pour l'autre au dessus du salon (chambre spacieuse avec un lit 2 places + 1 lit 1 place + 1 lit à barreaux). Ces 2 dernières chambres sont en haut d'un escalier chacune et donc moins isolées, ce qui ne nous a pas dérangé du tout mais à savoir tout de même. Petit jardin agréable, avec chaises longues et salon de jardin. Et cerise sur le gâteau : une cheminée ! Nous recommandons cette maison ! NB : pour les courses, marché de Plouha (mardi ou mercredi), commerces et supermarché dans Plouha.

We spent a week as a family (3 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 6) very pleasantly at Jacqueline’s.
The house is located 2 km from the Plouha exit towards the sea, practically at the very end! We were able to walk to Gwin Zegal beach, which is at the foot of a cliff and reachable via a path and steps. The children loved exploring the rocks. There are lovely walks on the coastal footpath. The street is very quiet, one to two cars a day, no noise except birdsong.
The house is very well equipped. The kitchen contains all the necessary pantry items, so you can arrive without fuss.
Of the three bedrooms, only one is closed by a door; the other two are located one above the kitchen (small room) and the other above the living room (spacious room with a double bed + a single bed + a cot). These two rooms are each at the top of a staircase and therefore less isolated, which didn’t bother us at all but is worth mentioning.

La maison se situe en dehors du village et très proche de la mer, accessible à pied. Une voiture est obligatoire ! La maison est pleine de charme avec son petit jardinet et très confortable. Nous nous y sommes très bien sentis ! La région est exceptionnelle, les falaises et plages de Gwin Zegal sont parmi les plus belles de la région. Et depuis Plouha, on peut rapidement accéder à d'autres lieux alentours très intéressants en 1h de voiture ou moins. L'accueil est très chaleureux, c'était parfait pour une semaine de vacances !

The house is located outside the village and very close to the sea, which is within walking distance. A car is essential! The house is full of charm with its small garden and very comfortable. We felt very much at home! The area is exceptional; the cliffs and beaches of Gwin Zegal are among the most beautiful in the region. From Plouha you can quickly get to other interesting places within an hour's drive or less. The welcome was very warm — it was perfect for a week’s holiday!

Nous avons été chaleureusement reçu par une jeune fille pétillante dans une maison trop trop belle a la fois fonctionnelle, confortable et romantique (exactement comme sur les photos ) avec les hortensias et le feu dans la cheminée.....La décoration de la maison est agréable ni trop ni trop peu on a l'impression d être en vacances dans une maison de famille avec ses souvenirs et ses petits secrets !Le village est charmant avec un merveilleux marché et une très bonne poissonnerie. La maison est à 200 mètres du chemin côtier qui surplombe la mer (donc plein de ballades). Les maisons autour sont pour la plupart traditionnelles avec des jardins magnifiques sur des toutes petites routes avec peu de voitures. tout cela a donné un séjour reposant et merveilleux . Bon je m'arrête là sinon on va croire que je suis une amie de la famille ! ! ! Laurence

We were warmly welcomed by a bubbly young woman into a truly beautiful house — functional, comfortable and romantic (just like the photos) with hydrangeas and a fire in the fireplace... The house’s decor is pleasant, neither too much nor too little — you feel like you’re on holiday in a family home with its memories and little secrets! The village is charming with a wonderful market and a very good fishmonger. The house is 200 metres from the coastal path that overlooks the sea (so plenty of walks). The surrounding houses are mostly traditional with lovely gardens on very small roads with few cars. All of this made for a restful and wonderful stay. I’ll stop now, otherwise people will think I’m a family friend!!!

Das Häuschen liegt in einem sehr ruhigen Teil von Plouha und in direkter Nähe zu wunderschönen Stränden. Wir haben als Familie mit drei Kindern dort sehr schöne Tage und Abende verbracht. Der Kontakt mit Jaqueline ist sehr gut, das Haus hat einen rustikalen Charme.

The little house is located in a very quiet part of Plouha and is directly close to beautiful beaches. As a family with three children we spent very nice days and evenings there. The contact with Jaqueline is very good, the house has a rustic charm.

We had an amazing stay at Jaquelines house. The place feels like home immediately when you walk in. The garden is lovely, the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. Everything is well equipped and you can tell jaqueline put a lot of soul into the house. The beach is a 10min walk from the house ( if you are pretty fit) or a 3min drive by car. And plouha center has all you need (bakery, supermarkets, little bar etc.) Thank you for the great experience!

Knus karakteristiek huisje, wel gehorig als je daar gevoelig voor bent. Op loopafstand van het strand, maar rijden is fijner op de smalle Franse weggetjes. Strand is groot bij eb, en weg bij vloed. De zee was lekker warm deze week. Omgeving is geweldig, ook om te wandelen.

Cosy, characterful cottage, but it’s quite noisy if you are sensitive to sound. Within walking distance of the beach, though driving is nicer on the narrow French roads. The beach is large at low tide and disappears at high tide. The sea was pleasantly warm this week. The surroundings are wonderful, also for walking.

This house is a wonderful place to stay because it is so close to the highest cliffs in Brittany. This part of the coastline is less developed than other areas. There are some brilliant cliff walks and seascapes. This gives the location a wilder and more natural feel. It also rich in wildlife, and abundant with ferns and other interesting plants. The house is located very close to several beautiful beaches which are fully exposed at low tide. Within walking distance is the small cove “Gwin Zégal” which can be reached by steps down to the beach. Here you can see the unique harbour with boats tied up to tree trunks embedded in the sand, roots an all. It is fabulous to watch the sun setting or even rising, if you are an early bird. This former fisherman’s cottage has a lot of character, with original old-fashioned furnishings, and an open fire in the living room. The owner Jacqueline has done a great job keeping the original character and country style, which is a real pleasure to spend time in. Laetitia, who looks after the house, did a wonderful job welcoming us, explaining everything, and showing us everything in the house. As I have said, the house is very traditional, but it is also fitted with modern devices, like Wi-Fi, television, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. We had everything we needed and enjoyed an excellent two-week holiday. The cottage well situated for visitors who want to make day trips to easterly destinations like St Malo and Mont Saint-Michel, but also places like the fabulous Tréguier, and the spectacular granite coast to the west. This is a perfect base for exploring this part of Brittany.

Jacquelines Haus war ein Volltreffer. Das Haus ist großzügig , schön und komplett eingerichtet und bietet einer Familie sehr gut Raum für einen tollen Urlaub. Doch nicht nur das Haus hat uns so gut gefallen, sondern auch die unmittelbare Umgebung der Klippen und der Bucht von Gwin Zegal, wo sich bei Ebbe ein kleiner Sandstrand offenbart. Obwohl die Bucht auf vielen Büchern als Cover abgebildet ist, scheint sie trotzdem ein Geheimtipp zu sein.

Jacqueline's house was a hit. The house is spacious, beautiful and fully equipped, offering a family plenty of room for a great holiday. But it wasn't just the house we loved — it was also the immediate surroundings of the cliffs and the bay of Gwin Zegal, where a small sandy beach appears at low tide. Although the bay is featured on the covers of many books, it still seems to be a hidden gem.

Ein kleines sehr gemütliches Häuschen in wunderschöner Umgebung. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was es für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht.

We spent our holiday in this house with our 5 kids and it was simply wonderful. The house is very clean and perfect also during days in which we decided to not move our car. Wonderful beaches are reachable by walking 20 minutes in a very beautiful context, or you can have longer walk and reach other beautiful beaches; or you can walk in the countryside.

Accurate description. This part of Brittany is beautiful. The highest cliffs overlooking the ocean are within walking distance.
