Juste un manque d’hygiène et de propreté dans la cuisine, et appareils ménagers, mouches dans le sucre, four encrassé, nappe sale, etc draps douteux( poils et cheveux) des moutons en-dessous des lits etc

Sobald du das Haus von Anne betrittst spürst du die besondere Atmosphäre. Das Haus ist liebevoll saniert, einfach, aber hat alles was wir brauchten. Anne ist einfach zu erreichen, antwortet schnell und für sie waren meine Hunde kein Problem, was ein riesen Plus ist für mich als dog mom :) . Wir kommen gerne wieder,  sollten wir noch einmal in der Gegend sein.

As soon as you step into Anne's house, you feel the special atmosphere. The house is lovingly renovated, simple yet has everything we needed. Anne is easy to reach, replies quickly, and my dogs were not a problem for her, which is a huge plus for me as a dog mom :) We would love to come back if we are in the area again.

Located in a quiet village, the surrounding environment is beautiful, Anne is very welcoming. The house is a bit old, but the facilities are complete, and the bedding is very comfortable. The kitchen supplies are a bit messy. Some can be removed and some more practical ones can be added.

We hebben fijne dagen gehad in het landelijke, rustige Scy! Anne was een zeer vriendelijke host, die ons op hartelijke wijze een welkom gevoel gaf. Het verblijf is mooi en groot, het geld zeker waard. Wel zouden zowel de inrichting, als de inruiming van alle kastjes iets opgeschoond mogen worden. Vrij veel rommeltjes die de indruk wekken wat stoffig en oud te zijn. Enfin, wij hadden daar verder niet zo veel last van. Erg fijne en inspirerende plek voor een rustige werkvakantie: leren voor examen, afgewisseld met wandelingen in de buurt.

We had nice days in the rural, quiet Scy! Anne was a very kind host who made us feel warmly welcomed. The accommodation is beautiful and spacious, definitely worth the money. However, both the decoration and the tidying of all the cupboards could use some cleaning up. There were quite a few knick-knacks that appeared a bit dusty and old. Nevertheless, we didn't mind much. A very nice and inspiring place for a quiet working holiday: studying for exams, interspersed with walks in the area.

We had a great time staying in Anna's home! It is a lovely area for a quiet and nature-focused trip. The only downside was that it was not very clean, some scrubbing of the kitchen utensils might be necessary. Although I would definitely go back, it is a beautiful, old, cosy house!

Beautiful old antique property. Unfortunately we couldn't able to meet our host Anne, but everything was arranged for our stay. It was quite a big house, we were 4 adults and have occupied two rooms. It was staying like in old times, in a creeky wooden house, the experience was unique. Somethings that can be better are the bed mattress was too old and was not comfortable to sleep, hand towels were provided, but there were no bathing towels. Overall it was good for a night stay and for the price we paid.

The house is as described- a bit dusty but charming and historic. Our kids loved the experience of staying somewhere different, but were convinced the house is haunted. All good fun. There is a garden with lovely rabbits at the fence too. Anne, the host, was helpful and responsive. We only stayed 2 nights to break up a journey, but would go back and see more of the area.

Anne is a very good host and her house is rich in history and kindness. Her breakfast is rich in hand made jam, bread and cakes!

Anne ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben beim Abendspaziergang erfahren, dass sogar Napoleon schon hier war.

Anne is a very nice host. We were passing through and learned during our evening walk that even Napoleon had been here.

A great place to relax! All necessary amenities are also present, we were able to cook well ourselves :) beautiful surroundings for hiking as well. Anne always responded very quickly and was very friendly! Definitely a recommendation.

Anne is a very friendly host. The house is located in a beautiful town and dates back to the 1800s, evoking different feelings with its historical charm. The only downside of the house is that it is somewhat rundown. However, if you love tranquility and want to be part of this historical setting, you should definitely have this experience with such a warm host. Thank you again for your smile, Anne ❤️

We hadden een hele leuke avond in het familiehuis van Anne. Een prachtig oud huis van de 19e eeuw waarin de authenticiteit bewaard is gebleven, maar toch voldoet aan moderne gemakken. Een aanrader.

We had a lovely evening at Anne's family house. A beautiful old house from the 19th century where the authenticity has been preserved, yet it meets modern comforts. Highly recommended.

Het is een perfecte plaats voor mensen die van authentiek houden. Het huisje is heel basis. Het is niet super netjes, maar daar moet je u over zetten. Anne is super lief en makkelijk bereikbaar. Ze maakt zelf lekker jam en gelei die ze verkoopt. Wij hebben twee potjes gekocht. Ook ter plaatste heb ik al een nieuwe boeking bij Anne gemaakt. Zo gezellig vond ik het daar!

It is a perfect place for people who love authenticity. The cottage is very basic. It's not super clean, but you have to get over that. Anne is super sweet and easy to reach. She makes delicious jam and jelly herself that she sells. We bought two jars. I also made a new booking with Anne on-site. I found it so cozy there!

Heerlijk weekend op deze mooie locatie. Huis (met name keuken) is een beetje rommelig. Huis wordt stap voor stap gerenoveerd, oa mooie nieuwe houten deuren. Sfeer vh huis is fantastisch. Prachtig gewandeld in directe omgeving, met heerlijke picknick Anne in rugzak (8,50 pp). Tuin is afgesloten dus onze hondjes konden hier rondrennen. Prive parkeren onder afdak. Dank Anne voor goede zorgen.

Wonderful weekend at this beautiful location. The house (particularly the kitchen) is a bit messy. The house is being renovated step by step, including beautiful new wooden doors. The atmosphere of the house is fantastic. We had beautiful walks in the immediate surroundings, with a delightful picnic Anne in the backpack (8.50 pp). The garden is fenced, so our dogs could run around here. Private parking under a roof. Thank you, Anne, for your good care.

Es war sehr nett, komplett in der Natur, ruhige Umgebung. Das Haus hat eine sehr nostalgische Atmoshäre, es ist etwas besonderes.

Verrassend huis, even terug in de tijd. Mn meiden van 9 en 11 genoten van de piano die in de kamer stond, hopelijk de buren ook ;) Prijs kwaliteit was goed in verhouding, omgeving prachtig om te ontdekken! Anne, behulpzaam en erg aardig.

Surprising house, like stepping back in time. My girls, aged 9 and 11, enjoyed the piano in the room, hopefully the neighbors did too ;) Price-quality ratio was good, and the surroundings were beautiful to explore! Anne was helpful and very nice.

Nice stay in an old house. Not very clean though.

Dit is een mooi oud huis met karakter. Het was niet overal even fris maar het bed lag erg goed en was schoon. Ook waren er voldoende theedoeken, handdoeken, zeep, toiletpapier, etc. Het huis was relatief koel terwijl het erg warm was buiten. In de omgeving zijn wandelpaden en talloze mountainbikepaden. Communicatie met verhuurder verliep makkelijk.

This is a beautiful old house with character. It wasn't very fresh everywhere, but the bed was very comfortable and clean. There were also plenty of tea towels, towels, soap, toilet paper, etc. The house was relatively cool while it was very warm outside. There are walking paths and numerous mountain biking trails in the area. Communication with the landlord was easy.

We were glad to be back here. Having Anne so close was handy when we needed the heating turned on as she was able to come straight over. It was lovely and warm after that. These big stone houses can get very chilly in the autumn.

Prachtig authentiek huis met rustige ligging in klein dorp Scy. Het deels opgeknapte huis is minder gemakkelijk te onderhouden. De eigenaresse woont er tegenover en spreekt Frans en beetje Engels. Parkeren onder carport bij voordeur met in de nacht automatische schijnwerper. Grote hoge hal met toiletruimte en trap naar bovenverdieping en deur naar keuken en deur naar huiskamer. Ingericht met oude kasten en banken en WiFi. Keuken is met eettafel aanrecht en koelkast met vriesgedeelte en 6 houten stoelen en kinderstoel. Voldoende bestek en keukengerei. In kasten vele kruiden beschikbaar met aanzet voor koffie en thee. Voldoende theedoeken handdoeken voor keuken en badkamer. Er zijn zelfgemaakte jams te koop. Tussen keuken en eetkamer zit een schuin lopende balk dus bukken. In eetkamer met deur en raam naar tuin staat een grote tafel met 6 houten stoelen met rieten zitting en afgesloten kasten. Huiskamer via deur vanaf eetkamer of deur hal met afstapje. De huiskamer staat vol met oude lederen bankstel en 5 lederen fauteuils die de kamer vullen met kleine tafel en open haard. Hier een groter en een kleiner raam. Trap naar boven hal met diverse afgesloten deuren. Ruime badkamer met ligbad en zelf vast te houden doucheslang. Badmeubel met spiegel en wasbak en tweede toilet. Er tegenover de slaapkamer met kunststof raam en twee bedden. Het oude eenpersoonsbed en het nieuwere tweepersoonsbed er naast. Met twee nachtkastjes en een grote afgesloten kast met raam en vitrage en oude spullen erachter. Afgesloten deuren naar zolder en kamer voorkant. Zou fijn zijn als deze kamer ook bijgetrokken kan worden. Tuin aan achterkant met gras en Frans sierzitje. Verderop overkapping circa 5x5 meter bij hoek achterkant huis met deur naar afgesloten hal en open deur opslagruimte. Hier staat een grote houten tafel en nog op te ruimen spullen. Je zit hier lekker met regenen er is een licht en stopcontact. Zijtuin heeft gras en is omsloten door hoge hagen en bomen en heeft een kunststof tuintafel en vele kunststof stoelen. In de omgeving kan je lekker wandelen en kleine dorpjes bezoeken zoals Celles, Crupet, Mozet, Sosoye, Falaën en Thon. Nabij Ciney en Dinant die goed te bezoeken zijn met meerdere voorzieningen. Het oude familiehuis is heerlijk om in te verblijven voor korte vakanties. Voor ons was het goed!

Beautiful authentic house with a quiet location in the small village of Scy. The partially renovated house is less easy to maintain. The owner lives opposite and speaks French and a little English. Parking under the carport by the front door with automatic spotlight at night. Large high hall with toilet and stairs to the upper floor and door to the kitchen and door to the living room. Furnished with old cabinets and sofas and Wi-Fi. The kitchen has a dining table, countertop, and refrigerator with freezer section and 6 wooden chairs and a high chair. Sufficient cutlery and kitchen utensils available. In the cabinets, many spices are available along with starters for coffee and tea. Sufficient dish towels and towels for the kitchen and bathroom. Homemade jams are for sale. Between the kitchen and dining room, there is a sloped beam, so duck down. In the dining room with a door and window to the garden, there is a large table with 6 wooden chairs with rattan seats and closed cabinets. The living room is accessed via a door from the dining room or from the hall with a step down. The living room is filled with an old leather sofa set and 5 leather armchairs, which fill the room along with a small table and a fireplace. There is a larger and a smaller window here. Stairs lead to the upper hall with various closed doors. Spacious bathroom with bathtub and a handheld shower. Vanity with mirror and sink and a second toilet. Opposite is the bedroom with a plastic window and two beds. The old single bed and the newer double bed next to it. With two nightstands and a large closed wardrobe with a window and curtains and old items behind it. Locked doors to the attic and front room. It would be nice if this room could also be included. Garden at the back with grass and a French ornamental seating area. Further back is a covered area approximately 5x5 meters at the back corner of the house with a door to a closed hall and an open door to storage space. Here is a large wooden table and some things to tidy up. You sit comfortably here even when it rains, there is light and a power outlet. The side garden has grass and is enclosed by high hedges and trees and has a plastic garden table and many plastic chairs. In the area, you can enjoy walking and visit small villages like Celles, Crupet, Mozet, Sosoye, Falaën, and Thon. Near Ciney and Dinant which are good to visit with several amenities. The old family house is lovely to stay in for short holidays. For us, it was good!

Het huis was groter dan we hadden gedacht. Het is gelegen in een heel rustige omgeving. Er zijn verschillende wandelroutes in de buurt. Het is de perfecte plaats om tot rust te komen. De wilde tuin is een meerwaarde. Wij hadden helaas heel slecht weer toen we daar waren. Het was koud binnen maar na dat Anne de verwarming had aangezet was het lekker warm. Alleen de netheid kon iets beter. Als je je daar kan overzetten, is het een aanrader!

The house was bigger than we had expected. It is located in a very quiet area. There are several walking trails nearby. It's the perfect place to relax. The wild garden is an added bonus. Unfortunately, we had very bad weather while we were there. It was cold inside, but after Anne turned on the heating, it was nice and warm. Only the cleanliness could be a bit better. If you can overlook that, it's definitely recommended!

Een ruim verblijf in een zeer rustige omgeving. Een typische woning , authentiek. Er is een keuken waar alles aanwezig is om te koken. In de badkamer is er een ligbad en het is er goed warm. Er is ook een tuin. Een goede locatie om te fietsen.

Nous avons passés une très bonne semaine dans cette maison pittoresque, avec poutres apparentes, très bien entretenue et conservée, d'un style rustique parfait. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter du jardin et du barbecue comme nous aurions souhaiter (à cause du temps quelque peu capricieux), mais nous avons pu découvrir la superbe région environnante (Namur, Liege, Huy, Bruxelles, La Roche en Ardennes, Dinant, Ciney). Enfin, dernier point positif et non des moindres : les matelas des 4 lits sont parfaits et tout à fait confortables.

We had a very good week in this picturesque house with exposed beams, very well maintained and preserved, with a perfect rustic style. We couldn’t enjoy the garden and barbecue as we would have liked (due to the somewhat capricious weather), but we were able to explore the wonderful surrounding area (Namur, Liège, Huy, Brussels, La Roche-en-Ardenne, Dinant, Ciney). Finally, a last positive point: the mattresses of the 4 beds are perfect and very comfortable.

C’était également un plaisir d’en apprendre un peu plus sur l’histoire de la maison. Le logement est charmante, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour confortable. Depuis qu'il faisait beau, nous avons aussi bien apprecié le jardin. Merci Anne pour un excellent séjour. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Accueil très chaleureux. Maison charmante des années 18.. dans une rue calme. Si vous adorez la nature et le calme, vous avez tout dans le coin. Villages autour typiques Ardennais. Ce qui est pratique aussi, c'est le petit-déjeuner (sur commande). Pain et gateau fait maison. On a apprécié.

Very warm welcome. Charming 1800s house on a quiet street. If you love nature and tranquility, you have everything in the area. Typical Ardennes villages around. What is also practical is the breakfast (on order). Bread and homemade cake. We appreciated it.

We had a very nice weekend in this charming country house in this small peaceful village. A home with a whole history. A welcoming host. The breakfast we ordered was very well prepared. Anne est bien accueillante pour nous recevoir dans sa maison familiale chargée des histoires. Cependant certains équipements sont à compléter pour le passage en famille, comme exemple les vaisselles et couverts, les casseroles …

Anne is very welcoming in receiving us in her family home filled with stories. However, some amenities need to be supplemented for the family stay, such as dishes and cutlery, pots …
